John was a lovely host, always friendly and up for a chat when we caught him. The house is in a great location & super easy to find! Albie, their cat, is the sweetest boy ever and often came over for snuggles! Would recommend staying here if possible :)

Lauren and Sam This was a very lovely place right next to the lake. Can see the lake from the bed and there is heaps of ducks. Lauren and Sam were kind and responsive while also making sure your experience was private.

We had an excellent stay at Martin’s place. Martin was there to greet us when we arrived, easy to chat with and gave us a quick and thorough rundown on the place, then left us to it. A modern, fresh, clean and comfortable space with everything we needed and more. A lovely outlook and very quiet. Easy to get to everywhere we wanted to go and great to be able to park on the property. Would gladly stay again. Thanks Martin!

Steve and Etty were great hosts. I haven't had much interaction with them thru message since their instructions were spot on. I did not have any trouble at all with the check in/out, parking and house rules. The place was tidy with ample amount of cookware, utensils and toiletries. I had a chance to interact with Etty before we left, she was so nice. Highly recommended.

Had such a great stay with April - it truly felt like a home away from home. The place was super clean, warm, and welcoming. She even had the heater on for us before we arrived, which was such a thoughtful touch. The little breakfast provided was a lovely bonus too! You can really tell she cares about her guests. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a cosy, comfortable stay.

wonderful experience and awesome stay in Julieanne's house. very friendly host in deed. the house is super tidy and well kept. it has a secret garden at the back where you can enjoy fresh air and listening to bird singing in the morning. Highly recommend to those who appreciate the nature.

This is the first time we stayed in Airbnb. I must say this is way beyond our expectation. The host is caring, the heater in the room was turned on already when we arrived in the evening. so when we entered the cozy home, we feel very welcoming and warm. The room is cleaner than my own home and it looks even better than the pictures provided by the host. Snack and milk was provided complementarily. If we are travelling to this city again, we do not have to look for any other options.

Debbie was super friendly and really helpful. Even though we arrived late, she still came out to welcome us, which was so nice. Her place is warm, cozy, and super clean. We especially loved the bathroom – the design was beautiful! The beach is just a quick 4-minute walk, and Mount Maunganui is only about 10-15 minutes away by car. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it!

We had a lovely stay at this cozy unit! The host was very welcoming—she stopped by to say hello but also gave us plenty of privacy. The thoughtful touches, like the cookies on arrival and the provision of coffee and tea, made us feel right at home. While the unit isn’t large, it was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again. Thank you for your hospitality!

Catherine, David and labradorable miss Mills made us feel very welcome and at home. We were given some tips and recommendations while in Taupo and surrounds which was super helpful! The kitchenette was perfect for 2 people travelling, bonus points for being pet-friendly. Beware: the adorable doggo will visit you daily so watch out for those puppy eyes! -G&V

Yolanda’s place is awesome! It's close to Pukekohe and not far away if you need to go to Auckland. The kitchen is fully equipped, bathroom is spotless. Yolanda is a super nice host, quick responses, easy to communicate with. Definitely will recommend it to anyone who comes to the area!

Melissa and Charlie’s home is beautiful and peaceful. Getting to meet all the animals was so nice! Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay.

Let me just say, if i am ever in Tauranga again (from Florida), I know a fantastic B&B. Laura is a warm and welcoming host and her accommodation is clean, stylish, and comfortable. She is a detail person and it shows. We loved the neighborhood. Mount Maunganui was an easy drive and a great hike. The hot water pool at the base was relaxing. Laura cooked for us one night after a full day of activity. Delicious. Our stay at Laura's was a highlight of our NZ holiday.

Nothing could have been better for our stay. Lesney was so helpful and friendly. The accommodation was perfect, everything you could need and a few extras. We had beautiful weather but very cold nights and mornings and we couldn't have been more cosy in our area of the house. A lovely hot spa helped as well. Looking forward to the next time we can go down to Papamoa and will definitely want to stay at Lesney and Alan's again
