Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Waipa District

Great property, great host, and wonderful stay! The property is spacious, well appointed, very clean and fresh, and a retreat away from home! We really enjoyed our stay with 3 adults and 6 kids at the property. We had plenty of space, enjoyed the fireplace with the wood provided, and even the chickens. As we have chickens at home that just added to the appeal. This location worked really well for hitting the glowworms and Hobbiton!

We loved our stay at Vicky's place and didn't want to leave!! Was exactly what we were after for our stay and so relaxing to retreat back there at the end of our busy day.

Josie and Rob's place was beyond perfect for a Birthday weekend getaway of 6 adults. Every amenity you could think of, they had; the house was so comfortable in so many aspects. Not to mention the location, which was close enough to town and walkable to St Kilda cafes, but still in the peaceful countryside of Cambridge. Couldn't fault Josie and Rob too, their communication and helpfulness were unmatched. We are already dreaming of coming back.

With a great cafe and river walks on your doorstep, and vibrant food and shopping scene of Hamilton East close by, our stay was excellent.

This place was amazing! The view alone is spectacular! The whole house revolves around this beautiful view and it is stunning. This is such a beautiful part of NZ. The rolling hills, the mountain, the beautiful cattle pastures, the bike trails and more just add to this awesome area. My family loved this house. There was so much to do, the hot tub, the basketball court, the trampoline, the games, the grill, and more. This house is decorated very well the linen, the beds, the living room are all beautiful. The kitchen is well equipped. The yard is beautiful. Catherine and Megan are excellent hosts. They are very helpful and kind. We truly appreciated them sharing their little slice of paradise with us. Thank you!

This was perfect for our stay. The location is perfect for walks along the river, walking distance to the city centre and also some very nice local cafes and shops. Private, with off road parking, a real sun trap with comfortable furniture and fabulous beds. Upon arrival we discovered that Karen had provided us with a few extra little things to make our stay more comfortable, for which we were very appreciative. We will definitely try to stay here next time we are back in Hamilton.

Perfect base in Cambridge to explore the region. Real home with a wonderful host and lovely pets. Super comfy bed, nice house and in walking distance to grocery, shops and parks. I would happily come back! Thanks for having me and our beautiful evening talk 🙏🏾

The property is beautifully presented, in a very quiet and picture perfect location. We had a wonderful time, and surprised ourselves with the good rest we all had. The living space and outdoor area are massive, and it is a very perfect location for a weekend away.

This property was perfect for our stay over a very busy work week. It had everything needed to make the stay easy, and it was in the perfect location for a range of great restaurants. Levi’s communication was great, and the online check in process made everything super easy.

Carol-Ann was a wonderful host to me and my partner. The property is beautiful, lovely gardens and super cool house. We felt very welcome there and made great friends with her cat. There is also a nice view of the hills from the house, Maungatautari etc. Very close to cambridge, and all its cafes, and Carol-Ann prepared us breakfast every morning with her home made bread. Thank you Carol-Ann for a wonderful stay!

We had a huge week looking after a school group while staying at Jacqui's place and the only negative was that we could not spend more time at her place around the pool or enjoying the incredible grounds

How lucky were we! Close to shops, a quick drive to the lake. Such a beautiful home inside and out that makes you feel right at home. We had eight people and still had plenty of space. 3 bathrooms! A very spacious kitchen! Outdoor areas! We were there for an event at karapiro.. but I think I enjoyed being at the house more! Its just so peaceful. Nick is a brilliant host, very responsive and friendly. 10/10 Highly recommend!
