Te Tiro Cottage Two & Glowworms

We have two beautiful “Pioneer-style” cottages nestled in amongst the stunning Waitomo landscape. Enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the central North Island and mountains in our two self-contained, pioneer-style cottages (sleep 4 persons). - Cottage set-up to sleep 4 people - 2 Adults and 2 children - 2 Couple (Cozy) The price is for a up to 4 guests. Our place is great for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). We are a 15-20 minute drive past the Waitomo Village so it pays to eat before you come up or bring supplies with you. There is a two element cook top and a microwave. The cottage is one room with a queen bed down and a small loft above that has two single mattresses in it. Cosy but cute. Each cottage has its own bathroom about 8 steps from the cottage. We would love you to come and share our little piece of paradise. The accommodation is nestled within a bush setting on top of a hill where you can see out over the whole central north Island. You even have your own grotto only meters from your door where you can sit quietly surrounded by a galaxy of Glow-worms. Enjoy the starry nights and peace and quiet of the country. You are more them welcome to wander around the farmland and enjoy the fantastic views, check out the Dab Chick Pond and beautiful native bush. Amazing views/Glowworms/Native bush/Caves/Black Water Rafting. If we are not going to be home there is still family around to help out if needed. Check in is from 3pm/ check out at 10am.

Aramatai BnB is a self contained studio accommodation set in 2.2 hectares of garden. Come and enjoy the bird song , peace and tranquility that the garden offers. Breakfast is included. Bacon and eggs and a continental breakfast. You can enjoy farm walks or walk out to the waterfall located on our farms boundary or just relax in the garden. We are on State Highway 4, 20 mins from Te Kuiti, 30 Mins from Waitomo and 40 mins from Taumarunui, approx 20mins to Ongarue start of the Timber Trail.

Welcome to our beautiful cabin. It is set in a quiet rural environment, which allows you to truly relax from the onset. Our double glazed, self contained cabin is warm and cozy. We are situated 8km's from the Kiwiana Capital, Otorohanga, and 25 mins drive to the famous Waitomo Caves. We offer breakfast of homemade toasted muesli and toast with delicious toppings. You have your own private access and can come and go as you please, but feel free to ask anything from Ryan or myself.

Wairere Cottage is the perfect place to stay before or after biking the Timber Trail. Situated 2 ks down a private driveway off SH4. Wairere Cottage sits peacefully on our working sheep & beef farm. 5 mins to Ongarue village, 40 mins drive to TeKuiti, 20 mins to Taumarunui. Makes it an ideal base to go off mountain biking(Timber trail), walking, railcarts, jetboating, golfing all in Taumarunui. With Skiing at Mt Ruapehu. Stunning night sky ( Weather permitting)

Ratanui Cottage

The address is 751 Ahoroa Rd Rangitoto TeKuiti, about 20 minutes out of town I suggest that you don’t enter it in Google maps until you reach the town of TeKuiti, especially if you’re coming from Taupo. It will take you to a locked gate with no access to our road Relax in our country cottage with amazing views of our sheep and beef farm. Get hands on with the pet sheep and feed your scraps to the chickens

The Silk Tree Studio (Nr. Waitomo Caves)

Time to relax in a peaceful quiet location with beautiful views. A very spacious self-contained studio, set amongst gardens of the main house with young dairy stock all around. Light breakfast included, Toast, Spreads, Yogurt, Orange Juice, Fresh Milk, and Cereals. Sit in your private spa pool after a busy day and watch the sun go down and the stars in the evening, they are so clear.
