Stay in the old village schoolhouse

Our historic school building with wonderfully high ceilings and its thick sandstone walls offers plenty of space (about 130 square meters) for up to four people. It was lovingly ecologically renovated by us until 2013. Downstairs there is a large kitchen-living room, upstairs a cozy small bedroom and a large studio, which can also be used by artistically ambitious guests. From Gräfenhausen you can go directly to the Palatinate Forest by mountain bike or on foot. The nearest climbing rock is also a 20-minute walk. In the village there is a small restaurant with a village shop and a bakery (both directly opposite the house).

Das Häuschen ist hochwertig ausgestattet, im Winter brennt der Pelletofen mit behaglicher Flamme, Ein Sitzplatz auf dem Winzergrundstück laden ein um ein Glas Wein zu geniesen. It's just 5 min by foot to the heart of the village with a couple of bakeries, restaurants, a grocery store and small shops, or 10 min to the beach & lake. It's only 2 min by car from Germany, and a perfect location for exploring the Rhine border region Karlsruhe-Strasbourg, or for a rest on the way when travelling across Europe.

Straubenhardt-Conweiler liegt mitten in der Natur, am Rande des nördlichen Schwarzwaldes. Die Region ist ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel zum Wandern sowie für Touren mit dem Mountainbike. Unweit des Hauses ist die Schwanner Warte, Ausgangspunkt vieler Wanderungen und Spaziergänge. Im Ort befindet sich in ca. 600 m Entfernung ein größeres Einkaufszentrum mit verschiedenen Geschäften sowie mehrere Gaststätten . Die Großräume Karlsruhe, Ettlingen, Pforzheim und Stuttgart sind gut erreichbar.

You will appreciate the tranquility of the place, the large garden, the sunrises...
