Our stay was amazing. The apartment is open with beautiful light. Beautiful kitchen/living area, and a good sized bathroom. Rose was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. 🙂

We've stayed in Jean's apartment a number of times and have always found it warm and comfortable, with lots of light in the rooms and a very well stocked kitchen including supplied food items (bread, variety of cereals, fruit, eggs, yogurt, milk, teas, etc.). Also, comfortable beds with electric blankets, central heating and book, magazines, TV (with Netflix) and board games. We would highly recommed Jean's place!

Before we arrived, Phillipa was in communication. The location was great, but as the suburb is named the Hill, it was ok walking down the hill to the CBD. Coming home is uphill and quite a challenge. CBD is only minutes away on the bus and we found a bus stop only a 5 minute walk away at the Cathedral and used it frequently for a ride home. Bus #21. There is a timetable at the bus stop. The unit has 2 bedrooms on main level and a study downstairs, which suited us 3 ladies. Plenty of space. The Study has lots of books available to read. Plenty of games in the cupboard with beach towels, spare blankets etc. Bathroom recently renovated and lovely hot water. Beds are very comfy, clean linen with warm quilts. The kitchen contains everything you will need. Phillipa was a great host and was available during our stay to help with anything that was needed. I highly recommend this stay.

Vivienne’s apartment was absolutely perfect for my needs on a business trip to Newcastle. Vivienne was extremely friendly and left very detailed instructions which left no guesswork to be made upon check in/out. 10/10 for this experience and I will definitely be back for my next visit.

Such a wonderful stay! Perfect location to take in beach walks, kiosk stops, wine breaks and incredible natural sights. Janet was an incredible host that gave us tips for the area and responded super quickly when the bluetooth speaker wasn't working, and rectified it with a new speaker within minutes. Everything was done discreetly and although the accomodation is next to the main house, it is absolutely private. The accomodation itself has the highest quality finishes and details, with the bathroom and kitchen the equivalent to what you would. build for yourself if you had a handsome budget. A washer/dryer and dishwasher were added bonuses as were the provisions for a quick breakfast and afternoon drink. The view from the balcony was better than the photos and even though it was Winter we were able to sit out and take in the morning sun. Can't recommend this accomodation enough!

We had a great time with our 18 month daughter. It was a fantastic location and easy to get to everything we needed.

My mother and I absolutely loved staying here. Inside and out was actually even better than the photos showed. Was a comfortable, tidy, modern, quiet space. Outside with the spa, pool and sauna made us feel like we were in a resort in Bali. Given the chance we will definitely stay again.

Amazing! Ainslie and Dan were fantastic hosts & the property just delightful, well and truly exceeding our expectations. The property is well furnished, beautifully styled, immaculate and well equipped with everything you could possible need for a relaxing stay. The additional fridge and pantry items were a lovely surprise and meant we could settle in without the need to feel rushed to get the shops. The location was perfect being so close to essential amenities with the views of Lake Macquarie just superb. We particularly enjoyed having our morning coffee out on the balcony watching the sunrise. We absolutely loved our fabulous stay at the Cosy Urban Retreat! The home is beautiful and has everything you can imagine and more. Dealing with Louise was a delight. This beautiful home is in a great location, very cosy, stunning decor, spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen and bathroom, very comfortable beds, excellent air conditioning/heating and the relaxing tranquil outdoor area is perfect. Very convenient. Short stroll to the restaurants and bars on Beaumont Street. Car yard is very close, but did not find it obtrusive. Tara was very responsive. Had some challenges getting gas oven up to temperature, but not sure whether that was an issue with the oven or my ineptitude. This place suited our needs well.

we had a beautiful stay in habitat. A good place to go reset, relax,unwind with the beach closely{walking distance}. Would definetly rebook and recommend.

How's the serenity? We had a relaxing family holiday and enjoyed the lakeside location, watching the birds in the gums and the mullet jumping at sunset. Annette gave great local advice and we made the most of the kayaks and caught some nice bream from the deck. The warm welcome complete with considerate treats and fresh flowers was the icing on the cake!

This place was incredible! This holiday unit was beautiful, clean, ocean view, spacious and with all the amenities available including the pool and gym- I could not recommend this place enough. Lorraine was nice and really easy to communicate with, Thankyou for letting us stay at your place 😊

Perfect for a weekend or even long term getaway. Location was great, right in the heart of the city, 5-mins walk to a couple local pubs, cafes and convenience stores and 15-mins walk to beach and light rail interchange. Also noticed quite a few buses with different bus routes around the area as well. Check in was a breeze and not that I had any issues but Mel was quick to reply once I had advised check in and check out. The place itself was fantastic, ducted air con throughout, 2 very big comfy beds, large lounge area and huge dining area with a kitchen that had what you need to cook for a large group of people, if you wished. Having access to a washing machine and dryer is always a plus, esp. when there’s a 2nd toilet and the bathroom was clean as well. Would definitely look to stay there again if going back up to Newcastle.

We had a wonderful stay at Adam's place. Loved the large deck - great for kids and adults alike. Everything was as per the description and photos on the website. It is a lovely open plan space. Everything you might need is within walking distance supermarket, bakery, Cafe, Golf Club. Playgrounds and of course the beach and river. Hawks Nest is a beautiful place we will be back.

The apartment and the amenities are outstanding. We returned here because we had to extend staying away from our house because of renovations. This was our first choice and u cannot recommend it enough. What really does need highlighted is how much of an outstanding history Connie is. She was so understanding, compassionate, super friendly and flexible. She deserves 10 stars.

Perfect little stay for the long weekend. House had everything we needed, and it was convenient to walk along backyard through along the waterways.

This accomodation was outstanding. Great location and the unit was equipped with everything you needed including some thoughtful items like a coffee machine, condiments in the fridge to a variety of tea and coffee selections. Communication was on point with step by step instructions on how to access the unit and Mark was very reactive to emails. The outlook was amazing, listening to the sound of the waves and the sunsets ❤️. I will be back..
