Beautiful apartment in Wangen/Allgäu close to the center

In the heart of the Allgäu, near Lake Constance, I offer an apartment on the 2nd floor on the left with 2 bedrooms, a dining area and a kitchenette. 2 steps across the hall is the bathroom. The areas mentioned are only used by the guests. The house entrance is not separate. We live downstairs in the house and on the 1st floor on the right. So, there is usually someone on site and we are happy to help with any questions. The house is located on the outskirts of town in a secluded location. It is about a 1 km walk to the city center and about 200 m to the forest.

Granny apartment on the outskirts of Wangen/Allgäu, right on the meadow, only 15 minutes' walk to the old town. In the basement, but with daylight windows. 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 kitchen-living room, 1 bathroom in the hallway. Very quiet. Parking directly on the street (dead end) in front of the house. Wi-Fi, TV. Southeast terrace in front of the house. Only 20 minutes to Lake Constance by car. Also ideal as a base for skiing, hiking, e.g. Zürs/Arberg 1:15h (110km) / Golm 1:00h (93km) / Oberstaufen 0:30h / St. Gallen 1:00h.

In the middle of a beautiful hiking area or rather by bike? A lake in 5 minutes, Lake Constance is only 20 minutes or the Alps about 40 minutes - all within easy reach!

You can enter the apartment at any time using the code and lock it with the code. The room and bathroom have underfloor heating or cooling in summer. A baby bed (120x60 cm) and a high chair are available on request. The sauna can be booked (€25 for a slot, about 3-4 hours incl. Sauna towels).

A real insider tip – a fantastic apartment above a historic wine tavern! We had a wonderful stay in this lovingly furnished apartment. The amenities were great and the apartment was clean. The location is also great, as you are practically right in the city center of Wangen. We highly recommend this accommodation and also a visit to the wine bar. Fabian is a great host.

The apartment is as described and the equipment and furniture are as new. Everything was tiptop. We even got a welcome gift, a fruit basket and 1 bottle of water, which was very nice! There was a lot in stock in the apartment: toilet paper, paper towels, tissue towels, dishwasher tablets, dish soap, coffee capsules, spices, hand soap, dish soap, towels ... that was really great and very accommodating! The only downside: we found the mattresses too hard and a little too narrow (about 80 cm wide). Definitely a clear recommendation from us!! Great amenities, good location and everything completely uncomplicated with a key box.

Christine is a very warm and attentive host. We felt very welcome with our dog. At the same time, you have absolute privacy in the very tastefully furnished apartment. It is a quiet, rural area with chickens, ducks and cows, but Wangen is very easy to reach on foot. You simply have everything you need and super nice hosts. We would go again!

The location is on the edge of an industrial estate. That's a crazy discovery when you arrive, but then you don't notice it. It is wonderfully quiet and has a very large and wonderful roof terrace. This looks towards the forest and in the background the first contours of the mountains. As far as we are concerned, the roof terrace is the absolute selling item. The house is clean and modern. And with all the comforts. Extensive kitchen. Although the house does not have air conditioning, it remains wonderfully cool due to the triple glazing. We had outside temperatures around 30 degrees. The only downside is the lack of curtains. All windows have automatic blinds. They function well but still let some light through. Especially in the morning on the east side. If you are sensitive to light in the bedroom, a sleep mask is an option. We experienced our stay as very pleasant and comfortable.

The three of us spent the Ascension days at Ingrid and Hans' place. We were received very nicely. The hosts live in the farmhouse next door and were available, but also granted us all privacy. The house is bright and modern, terrace and garden offer a great view of the countryside and a grill was also available. As already described by other guests, the nearby and heavily trafficked highway is rather loud (even at night), but could be worse. The house is a good starting point for excursions in all directions, Wangen and Ravensburg are beautiful cities, Lake Constance is also close. We enjoyed the time out very much, thank you!
