Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Wanhua District

James is very friendly and responsive whenever there’s any questions or recommendations about the places, the rooms are clean and comfortable, also very close to Ximending Walking District, 2 minutes walk, we had a great stay and will consider to stay here again!

Well kept place and easygoing / accommodating host. As is usual with Taipei, the building's on the older side - but we'll worth the price for the convenience and location

The room looks like the pictures and has plenty of space. In advance, communication with Ming was very nice! He gave me understandable and clear instructions for check-in and was always very quickly accessible and very friendly! My questions were answered quickly and helpful. The room was really very clean. I attach great importance to cleanliness and everything was right. The location is great (in Ximen) yet quiet and private. The metro station "Ximen" is a 5-10 minute walk. You can reach all the sights quickly. After that, I would keep coming back when I'm back in Taipei. I felt very comfortable and in good hands. Ming gave me a small meal for the way to the airport when I said goodbye. Thank you so much for this lovely stay. ☺️

The location is great, surrounded by plenty of good food options and a well-known local temple. The room is spacious, and there’s a laundry shop nearby. However, the entrance is sometimes obstructed by cars parked haphazardly, making access a bit difficult. There is also some mild mold on the bathroom door. Overall, it’s worth the value.

First off, huge thanks to Eda for being so flexible and helpful during our stay! 🙏 While the flight of stairs was a bit discouraging at first 😅, the moment we stepped inside, we knew it was worth it. The place is modern, sleek, and full of character ✨ plus it’s in a great location, super close to markets 🛒 and public transit 🚇. It was spotless and had everything we needed to feel at home 🏡. Any questions we had were answered immediately, Eda is hands down the most responsive host we’ve ever had 💯. 5 stars without a doubt ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and we’re already planning to stay here again next year! 📅

Affordable living, location is situated ~10 minutes from the nearest train station. Bus are fairly accessible as well. There are convenience store, supermarket and food nearby to the accommodation as well.

Amanda's place blew our expectations away! It was in the perfect location, just minutes away from a major MRT station and many bus lines, making nearly everything in Taipei easily accessible. Despite being very close to the lively and bustling Ximending, the apartment was on a quieter and more peaceful street. There is also a 7-Eleven right across the street. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, and Amanda provided so many thoughtful amenities (snacks, umbrellas, personal hygiene items, laundry equipment, etc) and was always extremely quick to respond. Probably my best experience with an Airbnb booking so far.

The listing is exactly the same as advertised. It is conveniently located to the walking street in Ximending. We had a little bit of wait before checking in since the host needs to meet guests out front to explain how the keys work. Check-out process was seamless though. Host was too kind in giving local recommendations, and even stepped out of his way to provide us directions to a spot we wanted to go to. The only downside of this listing is the sewage smell that comes out of the toilet. Although the listing mentioned that some noise from the street may be heard, we didn't hear or get bothered by it at all. Thank you P and co-hosts for the wonderful stay!

Although the apartment is right in the middle of everything bustling, it was quiet n peaceful inside. Host was very responsive, helpful and flexible with the checking in and out. Apt had everything we needed for our stay.. perfect for me and the kids. Will definitely use this home again when I come again

It is convenient because it is a completely unreasonable location to walk to Ximending Station and major attractions. Even though it is a shared house, I could barely feel any uncomfortable noise to stay in, and the interior of the accommodation is relatively clean. It was a place where you can feel your peace when you come back to your place from a complicated trip to Taipei. Thank you!

John was an incredibly responsive host—communication was smooth and fast throughout our stay. The room is spotless and embraces a minimalist design, yet it has everything you could need for a comfortable visit. Despite being conveniently located right next to Ximen Walking Street, the room is surprisingly quiet, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. Highly recommended, and I’d gladly stay here again in the future!

Da Bao was very kind to allow us to check in early and have a rest. It's a great place for two people to stay. A portable Wi-Fi device is provided for use outside, but we had our own data. The air conditioning was sufficiently cold, the hot shower worked well, and the water pressure was strong. An international power extension was also provided. We made full use of the washing machine every day. It was a wonderful stay, and we hope to come back again soon.

One of the best airbnb that I’ve been through. The location is very convenient. Literally 2-3 minutes walk to the rainbow crossing in ximending. Plus point for the AC, super cold i like it. The host is very friendly and responsive and even recommended and helps us where to eat. This is a place that I’ll recommend.

This was an excellent stay! I highly recommend Max’s place to anyone who wants no-frills, affordable and well-located place to stay with huge windows. Pros: Perfect location, spacious by Taipei standards, affordable rates, tons of natural sunlight, nice city view, very nice a/c, helpful and communicative host. A vacuum cleaner in the unit and an alcohol spray in the bathroom was an especially nice touch, we stayed for a week and could keep the place clean by ourselves! Cons: No major cons.

I was visiting Taiwan for a few days en route back to the US from India and wanted to find something in the Ximending area, which is central to most sightseeing tours and activities. This condo is approximately a 10-minute walk from Ximen Station, which is ideal. The apartment has a balcony with a view of the river and New Taipei. This was my deciding factor. There is also a busy road outside the balcony, but thankfully, you cannot hear any of the noise inside the condo. The condo was spacious. I was travelling solo; however, this condo can also be quite comfortable for two people. The bathroom is a "wet" bathroom, so most Western travelers may need to get used to it if using it for the first time. The bed, linen, and provided towels were clean. There is a washing machine in the bathroom; however, I did not need to use it. The condo has a mini-fridge that is ideal for those 7-11 / Family Mart purchases. First day instructions were clear and precise, and access to the condo was easy

Fantastic views, large spaces, luxurious furnishings, ideal for families to settle in and explore the area. Walkable to many day/night markets, easy to find food. Host greeted us at the door and went though all the features of the property. Location also near mass transit and cabs easy to find. Thanks for an unforgettable experience!
