Heathrow's Hideaway

IshanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful riverfront cabin! The setting was incredibly serene—perfect for relaxing and reconnecting with nature. The space felt very private, tucked away in a quiet spot with beautiful views of the river. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped for a comfortable stay. Our host was amazing—super responsive, kind, and thoughtful throughout our visit. You can tell they truly care about creating a great experience for their guests. We would absolutely love to come back again. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

Mountain hideaway near Wardensville & Capon Bridge

This place was everything I hoped it would be and more. The high wood ceiling and huge windows made it feel open and peaceful, and the natural light during the day was incredible. It’s the kind of space that instantly makes you feel calm. The couch is insanely comfortable… I spent way more time on it than I planned, just relaxing and enjoying the quiet. Everything was super clean, and you can tell the host put real thought into making it feel like home. The whole experience was smooth and easy from start to finish. If you’re looking for a place to slow down, clear your head, or just enjoy a few peaceful days somewhere beautiful… this is it.! I’d absolutely stay here again.

Cabin on 17 acres by National Forest

BrianRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is a beautiful retreat that has recently been renovated with what feels like top of the line furnishings including leather couches and an amazing soaking tub with a view. The kitchen had all the supplies I needed to make a wonderful supper with things from a local market. There is a nice mowed path to a stream in the woods. The place is hard to find from the road due to some mapping errors, but once you find it it's worth the wait.

We had a lovely stay at the cabin. It’s very peaceful and great for a romantic getaway. Morry was also a very responsive host. We had one issue with the building, which he promptly responded to.

One word- PERFECT! My boyfriend and I needed to get away from the chaos of the world and stumbled upon Elizabeth’s cabin and I’m so glad we did. Perfect location that is isolated and close to a town all at once. The cabin is spotless, comfy beds, couch. We got to experience a thunderstorm on the porch- major highlight! We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at this cabin in West Virginia. It was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The setting was peaceful and private—perfect for unplugging and enjoying nature. Whether you’re sitting by the fire pit, enjoying your morning coffee on the porch, or exploring nearby trails, it’s an ideal spot for a quiet escape. We’d definitely come back!

EagleRockCozyCabin hot tub/private/outdoor firepit

A great cabin for a weekend getaway. We really appreciated all of Sabita’s recommendations for local wineries and trails. Photos and description matched the home very well. One thing to note, the cabin is off of a main road, and at times we felt like the road noise was pretty noticeable, not a huge deal, just not super tucked away/private. We would definitely stay in the future and highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Paige’s cabin in Capon Bridge. The views from the cabin were spectacular and we greatly enjoyed the local wildlife, including whip-poor-wills singing at dusk around the cabin.
