We booked a last-minute stay at Yew Tree Retreat and absolutely loved it. The location in East Woodhay is so peaceful—perfect for a relaxing escape. The Sunset Suite was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. Dion was a fantastic host. Despite it being her birthday, she welcomed us so warmly and stayed in touch throughout. She even checked in on us when my daughter was unwell, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The bed and sofa were really comfortable, the Smart TV was a great bonus, and the whole place felt cozy, safe, and easy to find. There’s secure parking with EV charging, and a helpful welcome pack with local info. We’d definitely stay again—such a gem of a place with a truly lovely host! Thank you so much x

Absolutely loved this Air BnB. Really warm and cozy. Its much bigger than the pictures! Gabrielle was warm, friendly and accommodating. The area is beautiful, secure, safe and quiet with some beautiful walks. The kitchen was well equipped with coffee machine, a fridge, freezer and washing machine. Would we return again? Definitely 😀

Great Host. Everything was just as described. Self check in was explained in detail. Jonathan also allowed me to move my things in early, as I was moving from another stay and had about 5 hours until checking. The place is clean quiet and the bed is very comfortable. There were fresh towels available as well. Only about a 10 minute walk to the train station and parking was free and there were always available spots on the street so I didnt use the provided space. Recommend if you are staying in the area.
