This is a beautiful place to stay, right on the lake with an amazing view, and a friendly beaver right next door! Our highlights were the hot tub, the fire pit and kayaking on the lake. This spot would be amazing in the Summer. The house is clean and well set up, the 2 downstairs bedrooms are small but just fine for sleeping. There is plenty of room in the rest of the house.

Had a great family getaway for a few nights. Peaceful surroundings, easy to find, and close to amenities if needed. Lovely cabin!

Great cozy cottage with a private lake entrance. Miles was a great host. Hot tub & sauna were very enjoyable and overall the place was great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aliya’s cottage. The place was exactly as described and pictured, all amenities were available and functioning as described. The place is spacious, furnished with high quality furniture, I wouldn’t hesitate to book Aliya’s cottage again. Aliya was also a great host, very thorough and timely communication!

We had a group weekend getaway and loved our stay! The house is very spacious and beautifully decorated. The host Ashley was very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a beautiful escape to recharge!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage in the woods! It was clean, spacious, and incredibly peaceful — the perfect nature escape. The hot tub was amazing, and the game room was such a fun bonus. We also loved how cozy and comfortable the beds were, and the living room and big kitchen made it easy to relax and enjoy meals together. Just a heads-up: there are quite a few mosquitos, so be sure to bring some bug spray. Other than that, everything was perfect. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature!

Your cottage is so beautifully done. You have provided everything needed to make a stay comfortable & peaceful. We enjoyed the outdoor space as well & relaxed in the hottub. All the days we were there, a deer wandered through the property & on the last day she brought her baby with her! Everything was perfect. Thank you for the lovely experience!

Chorong was a great host! Leading up to our stay she was extremely responsive as I had a lot of questions! The house itself was stunning. Clearly it is taken care of and maintained very well. All of the beds were so comfortable. Outdoor area was a lovely space. Would definitely like to come back in the winter as I am sure the scenery is beautiful.

We had a great time at George’s house with our friends. We went there to enjoy the fall colors and this house is a perfect spot to enjoy fall colors near by. Kayak in the fresh lake water right behind the house is really good experience. House looks exactly shown in the images. I recommend this to anyone who want to enjoy time with friends and family in a peaceful location.

Beautiful, clean cottage on a beautiful lake! Loved the sauna and the deck down by the dock. Was the perfect size for the 6 of us. Kitchen was great, beds were super comfortable. Would come back for sure.

We loved this place. From start to finish it was fantastic. Great location. Open and spacious. Everything we needed was provided. The host was very responsive and gave good clear instructions. We had a fantastic time to wind down.

This listing is exactly as pictured. It is truly beautiful to look out over the lake at sunset (anytime, really, haha) and was the perfect location for some time away from the city. I was able to get to the listing from Toronto without a car as well, so good to know for accessibility from the city for anyone without access to a car. Overall, my experience at this listing was great. Saeid communicated with me very well--quick, informative, and efficient exchanges. He was helpful as much as possible and readily admitted when unsure of things. The kitchen covered all basic needs for cooking and serving food; the grill was nice to use as well. The jetted tub was unavailable during my stay, but that is a very minor detail in the context of a great stay at Saeid's place. I would definitely return and highly recommend.

We just spent 2/3 days at Rachel’s cottage and it was amazing! Stunning sunset views, super peaceful and we lucked out with good weather Pros: Easy to find location SUPERB outdoor space with multiple seating areas and a dock to fish from We saw sooo many fish & even a snake in the water) Clean home Kitchen has every utensil / dish / pot Neighbours close but friendly Ceiling fans in all rooms Strong AC unit was great Cons: Small indoor space (wasn’t an issue for us as we were outdoors most of the time) Only 1 toilet/bathroom (not ideal for a family but fine for a couple) Mattresses uncomfortable Would definitely recommend and would love to come back

The Shoreview was exactly as described. It was the best equipped place we have stayed at and can't wait to go back. It has everything you need for cooking to playing in the water. Our favorite spot was sitting at the outdoor lanai with a morning coffee and again in the evening. Karen and Scott have thought of everything and you won't regret a stay here.

We had a great week at Daniel’s cottage - the perfect place to relax & unwind after a week exploring the sights in Toronto. Daniel was an excellent host - no question was too much trouble, & he was very quick to respond to any queries. The cottage & amenities were exactly as described and proved to be perfect for our family - especially our two 16 & 19 year old sons, with plenty of time spent swimming, kayaking / canoeing, riding the Peloton, or playing table tennis, table football, & the X-box. The location of the cottage was perfect, with beautiful views of the river and surrounding woodland. The rear deck was the perfect spot for breakfast or BBQ’ing in the evening & watching the sunset. We ate at the cottage most days with supplies from the excellent Canoe Stores & Bakery in Washago, which had us coming back for the pecan slices on a daily basis! We ate out at the Lock42 Grill, set in a beautiful location beside the canal. All in all we would highly recommend Daniel’s cottage.

Cottage is totally unique being on a point with water on two sides. Architecture is modern and very comfortable. Two larger bedrooms are the same size so great to share with another couple. Views include Goffat Island and McCrae Provincial Park so lots of greenery. With the pick of two sides to paddle you can stay out of the wind. I have been coming to Lake Simcoe for over 50 years and I have never heard so many loon cries! And trumpeter swans for visuals. Firepit has great views! We had a great time.

From the moment we arrived, our Washago Airbnb stay (May 30th - June 2nd) was absolutely perfect. The property was truly "pick and span," gleaming with cleanliness and showcasing impressive upgrades throughout. It genuinely exceeded all our expectations! Our host Steve was exceptional – super helpful and incredibly responsive. Any questions we had were answered almost instantly, and they clearly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The location was simply amazing, offering both tranquility and convenience. The property itself was completely up to the mark, providing everything we needed and so much more. From a well-stocked kitchen to comfortable furnishings and thoughtful touches, it felt like a true home away from home, but with all the luxuries. We can't recommend this Airbnb enough and would happily return on our next visit to Washago!

Such a perfect little getaway spot. Super quiet and private — loved relaxing in the hot tub at night and hanging by the fire. The place has a dock with kayaks and paddleboards, which made the lake time extra fun. Everything was clean and cozy, and it just felt peaceful the whole time. Already planning to come back!

Jasmine and Devin provided myself and my family with a luxurious stay in their home. They were both helpful, responsive, usually responding within 5 minutes. The property was outstanding, peaceful, beautiful. Spacious for both my 3 other guests and 2 dogs. The kitchen and living room were both comfortable and very easy to navigate. Everything was very well presented. The bedrooms were warm and welcoming with the linens perfectly made and folded towels. The backyard is spectacular and dreamy like out of a movie scene. The backyard is fenced in and spacious, perfect for dogs and children. The fire pit was enclosed with large rocks, surrounded with muskoka chairs providing a beautiful view of the river and passing boats. The fire pit area also provided a set of overhead lights creating a beautiful ambience. The neighbors were very friendly and welcoming as well. I would highly recommended this Airbnb to anyone wishing for a getaway with the family or to themselves. Five stars!

Cannot recommend this cottage enough! Had a great time with my family, the apartment was fantastic, and the view was better than I could’ve imagined. 10/10 would recommend!

We were looking for somewhere on the water and a peaceful space. Angela’s cottage was that and more. The modern kitchen was great to hang out in and make meals, comfy bedrooms, and a deck with a spectacular view of the river. We definitely recommend and would consider a return visit. Absolutely perfect stay! John was an amazing host—friendly, responsive, and made everything easy from start to finish. The house itself is stunning: beautifully maintained, super comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location is unbeatable—peaceful, scenic, and close to everything. 10/10 – would absolutely stay again!

We loved our time here! Robert was responsive and answered all of our questions. Instructions were clear. The cottage was clean. There was enough space for 6 adults to feel comfortable and have enough space, and a number of gathering spots to play games, eat together, etc. We were particularly impressed and grateful for all of the amenities--they have it all! For activities: 2 kayaks and a canoe, various-sized life jackets, even 2 fishing rods! Lots of games inside. There were plenty of towels, toiletries, fragrance-free laundry detergent with the washer/dryer. The kitchen is well-stocked (plenty of dishes and cutlery, large mixing bowls, baking pans, pots/pans, oils, sauces, condiments, spices), and we cooked many large meals. The fire pit was great, and they even have bug spray! The park down the street has a new tennis/pickle ball/basketball court. Cons: you can definitely hear the trains and highway, but we expected this going in. Would still recommend this cottage!
