Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Washington Park, Chicago

Jd’s space was as described, very spacious and accommodating for larger parties. There were snacks, drinks, and towels/linens for use as well as washer and dryer. Jd was also very responsive and a great host. I’d say the biggest drawback was the very creaky floors, with only 3 people staying here, every movement on the main floor was heard. Maybe if we had a larger party, it may have filled up and not been too bad? General Chicago advice for anyone booking: - When considering, be aware that traffic can play a factor in getting from A to B. This is nothing against this specific place or host, just something to be aware of. - You are best off if you rent a car! Paid so much in Ubers and Lyfts in and out of the city. - The roads around this side of town are really bad. All that said, if you prepare correctly and have a large party, this was a very quaint and accommodating stay overall.

Beautiful home layout and very spacious! Location was a quick drive to the city, which was convenient. Host was also very kind and attentive. Thank you Ms. Lilly for our stay!

Lizbeth was an amazing host. She’s responsive and attentive. The place was exceptional clean and had an amazing smell. I was there to celebrate my birthday and was pleasantly surprised upon entry when I was greeted with a personalized birthday message, fresh flowers and a bottle of wine. Anytime I reached out to Lizbeth, she responded expeditiously. Again, very attentive. My husband and I will definitely stay at her beautiful Oasis again. We felt comfortable and completely safe. Everything we wanted to do was a quick drive from the location. If you’re considering staying at her home, you will not regret it. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Great place. Great location. No issues at all. I would rent again. It's a good spot between the Gold Coast and Lincoln park and beer some really good restaurants. Place was as described and would have no issues staying there again.

This place is awesome! The house was spotless and very well cleaned. Every room was exactly as described and the beds were incredibly comfortable. One of my friends wants to buy the exact mattress they had in the upstairs room :) . I would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay very much and felt right at home. The hosts were very communicative and helpful. They were very flexible with check in and check out times. The home was fully stocked with lots of extra linens. Simple check out. Very beautiful home! I would 10/10 recommend! 🤩

The house is very beautiful. My family and I loved the place and how spacious it is.

We had a great stay here. The Oak Park area is really awesome, and we enjoye walking the neighborhoods and seeing the Frank Lloyd Wright homes. Tiffany was incredibly friendly and helpful. The house was clean. It was in a great location, albeit a little far in traffic from the city. There were thankfully no weird cleaning rules, and no problems at all. We would love to return.

Neighbor hood felt safe and friendly. I was a bit worried about parking - especially with street cleaning closing one side of the street - but it turned out not to be a problem. It was nice to be able to walk the neighborhood, or Uber downtown if needed.

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was just as advertised – clean, quiet, and comfortable. Very nicely decorated. The host provided great communication throughout. Nice location, with easy access to plenty of dining, bars, and shopping. Highly recommend!

It was a perfect place to stay for a few days. The skylights and all the beautiful plants really stood out. We really enjoyed the coffee bar to start our mornings. Lots of indoor and out door space. The room had the ability to adjust temperatures for each room. Great communication on check in etc.

This place was amazing!! Felt right at home as soon as we got there. The neighborhood is very quiet and chill, there’s a ton of great mexican food/stores, and just a couple blocks from the pink line and bus stop. Great home base just outside of the chaos of downtown but easy to get anywhere you wanna go! The place itself was comfortable and felt very roomy. Only thing is there are some upstairs neighbors who you WILL hear walk, talk, breathe… but we didn’t have trouble dealing with it and still slept well. Plus they had two cute little doggies who came to say hi, which is a huge plus! Overall 10/10 would stay again and would always recommend to anyone visiting Chicago.

The stay was for me and my parents. The location was a bit hard to find at first. But once we found it, it was quiet and peaceful. We felt safe. Im 5'2 and could touch the ceiling so keep that in mind my tall folks. We had no issues with it. The parking spot was amazing to have! Its located right inside a town with Walmart, grocery stores & restaurants. It is about 30 mins from downtown. And takes about an hr to get back during the evening hrs. But we didn't mind.

Fantastic location, right in the heart of Wicker Park! We really enjoyed our stay at the Flamingo Lounge. It was the perfect amount of space for the 2 of us over 4 days. The place was clean, spacious, and well decorated. We were also surprised that, despite being near all the bars and restaurants on Milwaukee that it was relatively quiet at night. Lina and Fulvio were stellar hosts, very responsive to a few times we reached out. All in all, a great place if you want to be near the Blue Line and experience Chicago's more creative neighborhoods.

Place was centrally located with lots to do in walking distance for food and entertainment. We could walk to the venue where we saw our live music. The host is very kind and had a lot of information about the area to share with us. We felt very safe the house was peaceful very clean. The outdoor garden area is really pretty too. We definitely wanna stay here the next time we’re up for a show.
