Located in the mountains on a scenic country road near Banner Elk, it’s just 30 minutes from Boone and 40 minutes from Grandfather Mountain. Discover great restaurants, coffee shops, and breweries in Boone, Banner Elk, and Blowing Rock. Enjoy breathtaking views while hiking and biking in the area. During winter, 4WD or AWD is necessary for snowy mountain roads, with ski resorts just minutes away.

Comfortable, clean, cheerfully colorful, artistically decorated and lovingly adorned with mosaic artwork including a dreamy mosaic bathroom. Open studio space with a full size bed, living room and kitchen plus separate bedroom with bunk beds. Fits 4 people comfortably. You would never know its a renovated mobile home as it's more reminiscent of a rustic mountain cabin! The place is super quirky and perfectly imperfect. I like to think of it as rich with character! 3 min drive from downtown :)

Bathroom is only 30 yard walk. Sleeping space for 2 adults only. 1-2 small kids may be allowed with preapproval. AWD/4-wheel drive recommended December-March in case of snow.

The "Hut" in Banner Elk NC

The "Hut" is less than one mile from the red light in downtown Banner Elk. Only a fifteen minute walk or less than two minute drive will put you in the heart of this quaint little town. Less than half a mile to the local brewery and only a ten minute walk to the town park. The owners are on premises and very attentive to the needs of their guests. Those interested in hosting parties should look for other accommodations. Strict no pet policy. The space will only accommodate two guests.
