Cabin holiday rentals in Waterbury

We had a wonderful vacation. The cabin is a true gem in the North East Kingdom. Upon entering the house, fresh flowers decorated the rooms and we found a basket of snacks for us and our dog. Leslie and Matt’s passion for decorating made the house cozy and inviting. The grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed walking through the garden, relaxing on the deck, and walking to the river. The food shopping service Leslie and Matt offer is an added bonus. The cabin is also in a perfect location. There are many great hikes and restaurants close by. The North East Kingdom truly delivered with its scenic woods, spectacular summit views, and gorgeous waterfalls. Plus every meal was amazing. Thank you for your hospitality and making our vacation this year a memorable one! You both were responsive, friendly, and such a help before and during our stay. This vacation was exactly what we hoped for: a relaxing retreat among the trees. I wish we lived closer because I’d be back every year.

I booked a last minute escape from the city and Rob’s mountain getaway was exactly what I needed. The home was both welcoming & comforting with enough blankets to keep me & our furry one warm and cozy. The stocked coffee bar & equipped kitchen made the mornings a breeze. Tucked away in the peaceful mountains of Vermont, stargazing takes on a whole new meaning while in the amazing hot-tub Rob has on the property. The weather was too variable for us to utilize the lovely fire pit but that’s what the winter time is for. Still peaceful to sit up in the ski chairs and enjoy the scenery. We even saw a hummingbird! All in all, Rob is an amazing host with a home filled with so much character and charm. The local restaurant recommendations were all a hit! It’s a quick 30-40 minute drive to Burlington We even extended an extra day because we enjoyed our time so much and Rob was quick to reply and enthusiastic in all communications. 10/10 will stay again and highly recommend!

Our stay at Tim and Renee’s was perfect. Gorgeous tiny house, super comfy, the hot tub was amazing. The spot the Airbnb is on is very private and peaceful. South Royalton is a cute little town with a nice food coop and coffee shop. Tim and Renee were super responsive the couple of times we had questions. Would absolutely come back.

Stunning natural surroundings, the cabin is nestled in valley by a brook, among the mountains, near trails, farms, and skiing. Lisa had some really nice touches and the house is well maintained, clean, and fun.

This is such a lovely little cabin, perfect for a couple. The cabin and the hot tub are both in excellent condition. The bed is comfortable. The area is scenic and private.

We had a great stay overall! The location is peaceful and remote—perfect for a quiet getaway in the Adirondacks. Just a heads-up: cell service is very limited in the area, so make sure to set your GPS directions before you arrive. The house itself was in good order and matched the listing—clutter-free and comfortable. While it could have used a deeper clean, it was tidy and functional and accurate to the listing. The beds were especially excellent—super comfortable and made for a great night’s sleep. Would recommend for anyone looking to unplug and enjoy the outdoors. The host Daniel is excellent and a pleasure to work with. Very responsive and proactive, and it's clear he takes pride in his AirBnB business.

We had a lovely and relaxing stay. The cabin and surrounding property are beautiful, and Evangelyn was a wonderful host. If you’re looking for a peaceful, “home away from home” getaway, this is just the place.

Our stay was incredible! The view by the stream was amazing, everything was so peaceful and perfect. Inside the cabin was exactly what we expected, very homey, everything we needed. We loved the walls lined with books! Kevin was very attentive towards what we needed - it stormed all day Saturday and he brought a second heater for us because the temperature dropped, which with that and the gas fireplace, kept the place perfectly warm and comfortable. He was also very accommodating in allowing us to stay an extra night since our plans of hiking all weekend were thwarted by the rain. We went for my husband's 40th birthday and i couldn't have picked a better place to get away from the stress of life. We plan on going back for sure!

Heidi's place is a wonderful cabin in the woods with all you need to enjoy the nature in Vermont. Super peaceful and the property is well maintained. I would highly recommend staying here to enjoy your vacation!

The cabin was comfortable and quiet! The setting was wonderful! We can to rest and relax and Francey’s cabin fit the bill! We would definitely return!

Michael’s place is absolutely gorgeous. Although the weather wasn’t on our side, we still felt very cozy and at home. When we got a little break in the weather we went to some nearby hikes and views with our dog who loved every bit of it. Would highly recommend a stay here.

We had a great stay at Rockhaven! Catherine, Rio & Lucy were wonderful hosts. As many others have shared, after driving into Burlington our first day, we elected to spend the rest of our time on South Hero. What a lovely island! The cottage was comfortable and had most everything we needed. We lucked out with beautiful weather while we were there, which made the stay even better. We got brave and dipped in the 55 degree lake each day, and would love to come back mid-summer when things have had a chance to consistently warm up. Overall, a wonderful and quiet stay!

Had a beautiful time with my family and dogs! Beautiful home and surrounding views. The fire place inside and fire pit outside was a lovely thing. Absolutely no service but WiFi connectivity was excellent. Pre save your destination before leaving the house.

Adorable, cozy cabin 10 minutes from Sugarbush ski resort. Very relaxing atmosphere. Well stocked with linens and firewood. Jill left us a little delicious treat. Would stay here again

Great hosts! Marilyn was so responsive and gave great recommendations for what’s in the area. They told us about a live music event going on 15 min away and we had the best time! The property itself had amazing views and was the perfect place for a short weekend getaway.

Exactly as described! Detailed instructions. Host very responsive and open to feedback. Very comfortable stay. Definitely got away from the big city to spend time in nature. One fan upstairs, I would recommend in the summer bringing an extra battery powered fan as it could get warm. No outlets (that we could find) so I would also recommend a portable charger. :)

The cabin was absolutely perfect for a few days away. Beautiful location and so very quiet. We loved all of the surrounding little towns to explore!

Tania was so friendly and helpful. Her property was immaculate - I could have sat in front of her pond forever! All of her animals, including Chewy, were super cute and interactive. Her cabin was so cozy and beautiful. Perfect size for just one person or two people at most. I would so stay here again!

Great place to stay. Private and quiet. Host was very responsive to messages. Very comfortable bed. There were extra pillows, washcloths and towels. Very roomy and comfortable. Large bathroom with warm shower with good water pressure. Drinking water was so good. I would definitely stay again. :)

Great stay!! Had an amazing time! Lee was super helpful and nice and the river was awesome! Definitely strong current and slippery rocks just fair warning. Even though it was a shared lot/driveway it did not feel like you were in someone’s back yard!
