Fitzroy Lodge has been lovingly renovated to keep the 1920's bungalow charm and present an accommodation venue that allows you to relax and smile. Enjoy the fully furnished and equipped 3 bedroom Lodge which provides space for up to 5 adults in two Queen bed rooms and one Single bed room. There is also the option to accommodate an extra two children if required. A porta-cot to accommodate an infant is also available upon request. The kitchen is fully equipped to cater for a short one night stay or extended vacation including a Nespresso pod machine with tea and coffee, snacks and local wine. The fabulous laundry can be used as a second space to get ready to go out with ample bench space, lighting and second toilet, a washing machine is also provided. Relax on the beautiful front verandah and enjoy the enclosed front garden or take your morning coffee out onto the back deck in the sunshine.

Everything you should need is provided in the kitchen with a huge oven and gas cooktop, microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine with pods.

A wealthy merchant from Anglesey in Wales, loaded two ships with finery that could not be obtained in Australia at the time. William Thomas built Anglesey House with it's seven marble fireplaces, cedar staircase, high and ornate ceilings and sandstone stables in the back garden. We had a truly wonderful stay at Murringo Barracks! Mark and Therese were the most warm and hospitable hosts, and the property itself was just beautiful with so much history attached. We appreciated all the generous, homey touches including fresh eggs, flowers, and baked bread, and feeding the little lamb each day was so special! The art gallery filled with local pieces as well as Therese’s own beautiful artworks was lovely to visit too. If you are looking for a restful, refreshing getaway that feels like home away from home this is the perfect place. We hope to be back very soon!

The farm house is just as it is described, beautiful, warm and comfortable. We were there on a particularly cold weekend and never felt cold in the house. The animals, next to the yard, are friendly and entertaining, our kids were interacting with them all weekend. The yard is fully enclosed for pets. The property is quite isolated, so is very peaceful. There is a supermarket/liquor 10minutes away in town. Zoe was excellent with her communication and very responsive to any questions we had. I can see myself booking the house again in the future.

We had a fantastic time at Little Plains. The house is spacious and has been decorated gorgeously and has everything we needed as a family of 9 for a long weekend. Charlie and James were both exceptionally responsive to our questions that we had and quick to action any issues that arose. If you’re after a peaceful comfortable weekend away in the country, then definitely recommend this place!

What a wonderful place to stay. Hosts were friendly and generous with fresh baked bread, bacon, eggs and local jams and spreads left for us to enjoy. Serene and peaceful location, can’t beat the views. Our dog loved the fully fenced yard and Mack his neighbour.

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was peaceful, cozy, and full of little touches that made it feel special. We still can’t get over how quiet the nights were—just us and the stars Ben and Samantha, you’re legends. Thanks for the beautiful space, clear directions (Google Maps definitely needed the help), and for letting us unplug and just breathe. We’ll be back for round two—next time, we’re mastering that firepit!
