Wairarapa, Gladstone, Gobbler Country Cottage

Our tranquil, rural Gladstone cottage has gorgeous views of farmland and native bush from the sunny verandah. Enjoy the a wine from our nearby local vineyards and a BBQ outside in Summer and the warmth of a logfire inside during Winter. A 3 minute drive to the Gladstone Inn for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and 20 mins to either Masterton, Greytown or Martinborough. We also have a 6 hole golf course available (seasonally) onsite for our guests to enjoy, golf clubs for hire for a round or two.

An historic cottage in a sheltered dell in the country near Makara Beach, fully restored Te whare iti is 10-15 minutes walk from the rugged Makara coast and roughly 35 minutes from the Wellington CBD. The preserved exterior enfolds very clean, warm and comfortable modern amenities. Importantly- you must provide your own transport as there is no public transport to Makara from Karori the nearest suburb, some 9.5 kms away.
