While you stay, be sure to check out the ample public game lands, Rails to Trails (1 mile away), and the Raystown Weaver Falls boat ramp (10 min. away). Cozy, quiet, peaceful, remote getaway. lots of wild life. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place. Buchanan State Forest joins the back of property, lots of hiking trails. Bike trails within 5-mile at Abandoned Pennsylvania Turnpike. Kitchen is fully stocked, pots and pans, gas grill outside, dining room, family room, electric fire place , and two bedrooms on main floor. A third bedroom upstairs along with loft with extra bed. Two full baths. Front porch and back deck with hot tub.

Walking distance to the Historical East Broadtop Railroad and Trolley. Short distance to Lake Raystown,and State College. Beautiful golf course within 12 miles. Grocery store and restaurants near by. Quaint town for walking and sightseeing. House is unoccupied (large yard, gift shop on property and playground across the street).

A spiral staircase adjoins both decks. The lower level has a relaxing hot tub with a privacy wall and patio furniture. A cable railing incloses the deck for an unobstructed view of nature.

Our house is fully furnished for an extended stay with all the amenities. Our getaway is only a short drive to the following attractions, Raystown Lake, Horse shoe Curve. Flight 93 memorial, and many others.

Come to the country where you can watch the wildlife and see amazing sunsets. Plenty of attractions biking, hiking and kayaking. The home has been completely remodeled . Enjoy the spacious open concept family room that meets the kitchen, or the large living room for quiet comfort. Four bedrooms, and a full bath upstairs and half bath downstairs. Perhaps just sit on one of the front porch rockers or by the fire pit in the evening. We do not allow pets at this property.

This beautiful house was built with tranquility in mind. The wall of windows facing the woods, balconies opening from each bedroom, screened in side porch—all make it easy to take in the quiet natural setting in every season. PLEASE NOTE: For safety reasons, we strongly suggest adults only or children 14 and older. The steps are hardwood. The back of the house rests next to a ravine.
