It is impossible to sum up just how welcome we were made to feel from the minute we arrived until departure. The villa was beautiful and the pool exquisite- large to relax and swim and spotlessly clean . The inside exactly as described. But the experience was made special due to the wonderful staff, Gihan and his team, who could not do more to make the stay so special. Beautiful breakfasts showcasing Sri Lankan specialities and home cooked food for dinner if wanted for a reasonable cost. He also drove willingly to nearby Hikkaduwa so able to eat out on as many nights as one wanted. However they also respected guests desire for privacy - a difficult balance to achieve. They went above and beyond anything we might have hoped for. The villa is a little remote but one knows that before booking and the tranquility more than made up for the inability to walk to restaurants. I would highly recommend and would return in a heartbeat.

One of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed at on Airbnb throughout the whole world….no joke. This place had everything from a jacuzzi to a swimming pool to an optional chef… this place was better than the pictures, the house was big and spacious with high ceiling etc, and every room had a/c, a ceiling fan, an en suite and a balcony…so was perfect for travelling with my whole family (9 people). The entire villa is enclosed with a big gate out front for maximum privacy and security but was still in touch with nature. The outdoor garden area by the pool also has fruit trees for quick snacks and the property includes a maintenance team which manages the property by regularly cleaning the pool and throwing out the bins etc. Absolutely amazing property… our whole family made beautiful memories. Will definitely recommend to anyone wanting to travel to Hikkaduwa and will definitely be back in the near future.

Coconut tree villa is such a special place. The location is really incredible, so peaceful, surrounded by jungle with birds, monkeys and peacocks. Our children loved the pool and were made to feel like royalty by the staff on site. We had a few lovely meals prepared by the lovely ladies for extra cost. Roshan the tuk tuk driver took us to the market to choose some fish, but beware, we were scammed when we went ventured off from him to buy fruit, spending £17 on a few items! The town is a 5 min tuk tuk ride away and we paid 600 ruppee each way, directly to Roshan. We were provided with a mobile and we just called him once we had finished at the beach and he arrived in miniutes. Lesley is a fantastic host, and responded to our requests. We had the most incredible start to our trip and wished we had booked longer, we cant wait to return to CTN!

Terrene Villa was everything and more. Jalal responded quickly to any queries before arrival and during the booking process. We stayed for two weeks as a family of 4, plus daughter's boyfriend. The villa is stunning and just as described. Sri Lanka is the gift that keeps on giving and Terrene Villa is the perfect place to enjoy it all. Suda and Judi (apologies if I have spelt their names wrong) were a delight and looked after us very well. Their breakfasts were enjoyable and the fresh juices were delicious. The gardens were kept beautifully and what a joy to see monkeys in the trees and on the roof! Viraj sorted all our travel and day trips out and was always quick to reply and make suggestions. We were so sad to leave the villa, it really is an oasis of calm.

The house is amazing, the photos don't do it justice. It is far bigger than it looked in the pictures. The manager Manoji is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. He cooked us a delicious breakfast every morning and he also did us a dinner one night which was the nicest meal we'd eaten in Sri Lanka, and the cost was very reasonable. He was always on hand if we needed anything. There's also a night watchman that stays in the grounds every night. It's about a 20 minute walk to the beach and the main road. The road to the house is quite narrow so be warned if you have a wide car!

We had an unforgettable stay at Tea House Villa in Angulugaha. The villa is stunning—beautifully designed, peaceful, and surrounded by lush greenery. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. Raki is an exceptional host—attentive, warm, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The staff were also kind and made us feel right at home. Every detail of the stay was thoughtfully arranged. I highly recommend Tea House Villa to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway with top-notch hospitality. Priyankara is a wonderful and kind host, his property is even better than the pictures, he was around to walk us through the space and gave local recommendations., We only stayed for a couple of days, but felt right at home, It's very charmingly decorated as well. Me and my wife like this place so much! The location is the best for house on the beach! The view is amazing, the rooms are clear and comfortable. Hot water and AC in every bedroom. Big living room and comfortable kitchen. Two minutes with Tuk tuk from the city center. And we appreciate the hospitality and help of our host Shashi, who was available at all times! Thank you and we meet again soon!
