House holiday rentals in West Des Moines

I stay in a lot of airbnbs every year and I’d have to rank this as one of the best. Everything is clean, modern, and updated. Furniture is high quality. The beds are amazing. The neighborhood is also quiet and peaceful. I wish I lived at this Airbnb, my entire crew and myself loved it.

Great place to stay . Very roomy lots of couches outside space was great. Comfortable beds the kitchen was great. They had everything you’d need. Totally recommend this place.

This place was great for a girls weekend. The pool and deck area is a fun hangout.

Thank you for the great set up in your home for a fun filled family long weekend while we celebrated our son’s graduation. The home had a very large open floor plan which made for a great set up for our large family. They loved the huge sun porch with table and chairs, large backyard, hot tub, pool and we had a fire every night at the fire pit with s’mores. The home is clean and maintained well and it was easy to communicate with Hannah. Thanks so much for the great Airbnb!

Beautiful and comfortable home! This house is a delight with lots of charming details and amenities. The house offers plenty of square footage with multi-use rooms and spaces throughout. The pool was beautiful, clean, and so much fun. We were in town to visit our son for his college graduation from Drake University. This home made the weekend even better for our family to celebrate the occasion. The location is close to everything and the neighborhood is historic and beautiful. We would highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the Des Moines area.

We absolutely loved our time here. This place is a gem - 10/10. The host was very welcoming, had wonderful communication and went above and beyond for our stay. The house is incredible, the pool and hot tub were amazing and everything is maintained very well. I saw some reviews about there only being one bathroom with a shower, our group of ladies were aware and planned accordingly and it was no issue for us at all (there is more than one bathroom to clarify, just one with a shower). There are TONS of comfortable spots throughout the house to get ready. We had many plans to get out in Des Moines while visiting, and we truly just never wanted to leave the house, we were enjoying it that much. We are already looking for dates to come back next year. I had a wonderful stay. The house is so charming and beautifully decorated. The beds are very comfortable. While the house is small, it doesn’t feel cramped in the least. You have everything you need in a very workable space. If I need a place in DM again, this will be my first choice.

My lady friends and I loved staying at this duplex.....2 bedrooms with 2 baths and a kitchen fully stocked. We enjoyed visiting in the living room and had a great place to park our car. Thank you for responding so quickly so we could arrive and get right in the home.

Loved our stay in Des Moines! My brother in laws and I came in town for a half Ironman. Debbie was amazing to work with through the entire process and it turns out she had done some herself. So in addition to a beautiful home, with great accommodations, we also received helpful tips and words of motivation from her as well. Race weekend turned into a full family affair and l can’t thank her enough for her flexibility in working with us to make the stay as comfortable as possible for everyone involved. Some “on the fly”adjustments were made and she was extremely helpful and gracious throughout. Thank you for making such a special weekend that much better! “Iowa Nice” was experienced in full effect!

We were in West Demoines for the half ironman. Denika's house was relatively close to the race venue and it was also located very neary shopping and other conveniences. The neighborhood was quiet and the house fit our needs perfectly.

Brought my in-laws to stay at Summer’s place and they loved it. We watched tons of fireflies lighting up in the corn field across the street in the evening. Definitely a cozy place to stay. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Charming sub-level of a house with all amenities as described. Host reached out with a nice welcome message letting me know the A/C had been turned on. Not all hosts do that so it was greatly appreciated, especially on a long journey in 95° heat. I really appreciated the decor and setup of the house. Large bathroom and decent sized kitchen. The front yard is fenced. Both the interior and exterior feel welcoming. I enjoyed my stay.

Melissa’s place was perfect for our group. Very spacious and had many nice added touches to make our stay great! We will look stay here again in the future!

Lovely and unique home with lots of space and floor to ceiling windows. Good outdoor space too. Very convenient to the airport and downtown Des Moines.

We had a wonderful stay at Russell’s place in Des Moines for the Half Ironman! The house was spacious, very clean, and incredibly comfortable. It was also super close to the race, which made everything so convenient. Russell was great with communication and very flexible—we really appreciated that. Highly recommend staying here!

Derek’s place was perfect for us and will be our go to place in Des Moines! Located in Valley Junction where there are great restaurants, shops, and two blocks from a lovely park where we could take our two dogs. The dogs also loved the fully fenced in backyard. This location is also so convenient to grocery stores and has a beautiful Sacred Heart Church three minutes away. This Airbnb not only had two big bedrooms downstairs but a lovely bedroom area upstairs with bathroom. Bright, airy, clean and great location!

My friends and i traveled 4 hours to Des Moines for a comedy show and we got to stay at the cutest little house! It was clean, easy to find, and the cutest decorations!! We felt just at home and loved the local recommendations they left out for us! We had some questions during our stay and Hannah was very responsive and helpful to us! We would definitely recommend staying here!!

My family and I really enjoyed the home. Elijah was very responsive from the first day we booked the place. The place was homey, spacious, clean and kid friendly and felt very secure. We definitely utilized the swimming pool area and the outdoor dining as it offered a-lot of entertainment and serenity. Thank you for letting us enjoy your house in the short period of time.
