Modern & sleek; perfectly small Airbnb for 2 to 4. Located in the uppereast of town, everything within walking distance. A block away, catch the bus to Time Square which run 24/7. Depending on traffic, the commute will take about 20 minutes to an hour to get to the heart of NY, Time Square (depending on the time of day). On the ride there, you will be able to appreciate the breathtaking NY skyline from the Jersey side. They say the best views of NYC are from NJ and they couldn't be more right.
“Great place, great area. The place itself is very clean, and also very nice. The area is nice and quiet, you’re around many restaurants and little stores. The place is supplied with many different things. Also, 2 TVs all the apps you need on it, (netflix, youtube, hulu) Going to NYC is so easy, $3.50 by bus to and from. Also, $9 ferry boat option. Overall, this place is awesome. I will be sure to stay here always when I come back to the area.”
Just renovated, spacious and private 2bed/ 1bath apt. The place includes: washer, dryer, dishwasher, AC, heat, WIFI, apple tv (Netflix), and private entrance. We are located just a few blocks away from NJ transit bus stop. You can be in port authority New York City in 15-20 minutes. Deli, pharmacy, parks, playgrounds, and a variety of eateries are within 5 minute walking distance. Some street parking is free. You may use my driveway to park your car. We may have to move car occasionally.
“Looks clean in pictures. And is Even cleaner in person. Shower was spotless I’m picky when it comes to that type of stuff. Whole spot Was very well cleaned. It was as if we were his first tenants ever! Danny made everything extremely easy, super well mannered guy. Greeted us with respect and was extremely pleasant and easy to deal with. Answered every call. Anything we needed he provided. Allowed me to use his driveway for parking so I didn’t have to walk all around in the cold looking for a parking space. Beds were super comfy. Whole spot overall was extremely roomy as well. Shower had loads of fresh towels and a washer / dryer if needed. Also had plates, cups, bowls. Which at first I didn’t think I would need but after coming home with left overs, the utensils and plates and such came in clutch. There is also a dish washer so if you weren’t comfortable you could wash them yourself (not needed tho, everything was sparkling clean) would stay again 1000% best price, location, and just over all stay. thank you Danny!”
Terrific place to stay for traveling into New York city! Ample space for 2 to 4! Unbelievable natural light during the day. Super easy to get to and from NYC for about $6 round-trip using the bus! We highly, highly recommend our space for those using public transportation as street parking is very limited and an overnight parking pass of $3 is required per night.
“Gloria’s place was amazing. Everything is so close and the food nearby was so delicious. The bus was right around the corner (I suggest EVERYBODY to use this application on your phone called Citymapper, it’s like Google maps but better & also tells you the exact bus numbers or ways of getting to places in public transportation so that way you don’t have to wonder what bus number or subway you need to take and how to get there on the way to New York and on the way back to Gloria’s place. I wouldn’t know how to get anywhere if it wasn’t for that app. Anyway, back to the review! Gloria’s place was sparkling clean and she responded quickly to a small concern I had and then found a solution right away. Out of all of my Airbnb stays, Gloria’s was the absolute best. I am definitely going to be coming back. If you’re a couple wanting a getaway or just a small family I suggest it. The walls are thin so if you’re a VERY light sleeper I would put music on to listen to while you’re sleeping or just earplugs because you can hear the footsteps from other people in the building. Thankfully for me that wasn’t a problem since everybody was sleeping by the time I arrived at the Airbnb after long days of walking around and sightseeing in New York. Gloria has utensils, plates, cups, towels, and everything you can think of to make this a comfortable stay. There was even lots of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner which I didn’t get to use because I had my own but if you ever run out there was big bottles of those in the shower. You’ll never run out of anything! The neighborhood is extremely safe, I know from personal experience walking around the neighborhood at 3AM after a long night of Times Square. During my stay I used the busses provided by Port Authority. Gloria did recommend the Jitney bus and I tried it but I unfortunately did not like it. Since it is privately owned, the bus driver was packing the bus more than it can hold. With the busses from Port Authority you get a comfortable seat, AC and it’s just much bigger and spacious and an AMAZING experience for a bus. The bus fare ranged from $3.50 to $4.50 a one way fare. Since it was my first time taking the bus I didn’t know I had to tell the bus driver to stop or press the orange button on top of the single seats to signal at the bus driver that you need to get off at your stop so I did end up 7-8 blocks away from the apartment but it was a first timers mistake. Make sure if you take the bus that you signal or tell the bus driver you’ll need to get off and where. There’s also a ferry that I took a Lyft to the Port Imperial Ferry station (it’s the closest one to Gloria’s place you can drive or walk it’s only about a 10-15 minute walk) then paid my $9 fare through the NY Waterway application or you can buy it at the ferry terminal and then I went on the ferry to Midtown/ W. 39th Street which gives you a stunning view of the city at night. After you get off, you can walk & explore the city or take a Lyft/Uber to anywhere in New York you’d like to go to. I can’t really say much more about Gloria’s place because I’m just shocked at how beautiful and clean it was and for my first time traveling to New York this was perfect.”
