Sitting pretty in a wild flower meadow surrounded by open fields, this barn conversion is countryside simplicity at its best: updated appliances and rustic furniture arranged for open-plan living to relax unwind and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. The barn is located in the meadow behind our thatched cottage. The space is entirely your own and is self catered with a well equipped open plan kitchen. We're on hand should you need any advice or assistance during your stay, though you'll have your own privacy and can interact as much or as little as you'd like. Enjoy pastoral tranquility here whilst being within an easy 10-minute reach of the medieval charm of Lavenham. Public footpaths are close by or venture further afield to admire the beautiful Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds. Once you arrive in the barn, there is a small collection of books about the surrounding area and county. We can of course recommend places to visit.

Exposed original beams. 2 rooms plus ensuite shower/loo. Please specify super kingsize OR twin beds when booking. Situated in a quiet village with easy access to Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket, Cambridge, Norwich and coast. Friendly hosts, chickens, dog and cats on property and fresh eggs supplied. Located off a quiet country lane, this barn annexe is a great place to unwind in peaceful surroundings. The spacious enclosed garden has uninterrupted far reaching views of this wonderful constable countryside. There is an abundance of foot paths and wild life all around the property and only a 10 mins walk to the village of Hartest which has a great country pub. Close to market town of Bury St Edmunds and villages of Lavenham and Long Melford this is a perfect place to explore suffolk.

The Hayloft is a light, spacious, open-plan, self catering unit for two. A romantic countryside retreat within part of Deepwell Barn, a converted grade II listed thatched building. Lovely walks, bike rides and pubs nearby. Close to Lavenham, Bury St Edmunds and picturesque local villages. As well as a private enclosed garden, guests have use of the larger garden, with fire pit, hammock and BBQ, a lovely setting in which to unwind and enjoy the countryside.
