Arrived as strangers and left feeling apart of the family! Genuinely, if you could chose who owned the property you was going to stay at, you’d chose Amanda and Gerry EVERYTIME, beautiful, caring, attentive, human beings, they simply can’t do enough for you! Their property is a country bolt hole, in the middle of paradise IMO, if your thing is scenic, picturesque, rolling hills, accompanied by a background chorus of wildlife, look no further! This place has everything you need and more, for winding down and relaxing. We had our little dogs with us, and they had a great time exploring and running free, in a safe space, carefully monitored by Snowball the cat, who wasn’t a bit put out, as she spent one of the 5 nights with us, while it was lashing down. Look no further, this place has everything you need for the peace and relaxation you require… if anyone’s given Amanda and Gerry’s place less than 5 STARS, they have ZERO appreciation for the bigger picture… ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ EXPERIENCE, thank

Great place to stay , very peaceful and lovely hosts who are very attentive. Short drive to Bolton abbey and skipton castle and otley and ilkley with lots to do. Nice hot tub and log burner to make the stay even better. Would definitely visit again and already looking forward to it . Thanks for everything guys :)

My family and I stayed Monday to Friday, fabulous site, the lodge was perfect for us and the staff really helpful. Lovely stay.

Vicky is a wonderful host, was always responsive to messages and didn’t hesitate to go the extra mile for me when I had special requests for our stay. The location is amazing with a railway station right at the back of the lodge. Inside the lodge itself was beautiful and very clean and the highlight for me and my fiancée was the hot tub. We absolutely loved our stay there and had the absolute best time and cannot wait to return there in the future.

We had a lovely time staying at Faweather Grange. We booked last minute for a great price. It was so cosy and peaceful. We brought our dog too who enjoyed the dog treats left for him, and had a lot of open space to play fetch. We will be back soon with our friends!-

Value for money very clean and tidy everything is there just sit back enjoy the surroundings and enjoy the complimentary bottle of fizzy in the hot tub

We were looking for somewhere to stay in walking distance from the centre of Marsden. A Place in the Pennines fitted the bill perfectly. Hannah has made use of every inch of the cabin to provide comfort and convenience. We only stayed for one night but would definitely return. We would recommend it to anyone who is looking for some peace and tranquility but with access to a great village and places of interest.

We all had a most enjoyable stay in the idyllic setting overlooking the most picturesque lake teaming with wildlife just perfect even being able to row the boat & paddle board around the lake just perfect. We celebrated a 50th birthday & had everything provided for a lovely stay. I would definitely be booking again! Enjoying a coffee in the morning being greeted by the ducks & geese swimming to the lodges with the young following, the fish swimming by (binoculars provided) The kitchen has everything and more that you would need for your stay condiments etc provided. Such a private & relaxing place to be in a lovely setting. I would definitely recommend a stay our family loved staying here and theres a play area which is perfect a trampoline, swing set, climbing frame etc the kids loved the boat especially being rowed out even life jackets are provided. The bedrooms and living area are perfectly set out with en-suite & children’s books and games.

Absolutely lovely. A real hideaway, peaceful and restful. Ruth has thought of everything to make the stay comfortable, in fact the best sleep I’ve had in ages. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderfully peaceful week by the lake. The cottage had everything we needed. We felt like were cut off from the world but there were plenty of food and shop options very nearby. A lovely place to unwind with the family.

Loved the place absolutely beautiful and relaxing for a nice little getaway . Only thing I’d say is shower pressure felt like I was in a prison but other than that loved this place so much and wish I could live here never felt so relaxed in my life !!!!! Deffo go great if your a leeds local and can’t travel far

Idilc Getaway - Felt homely. Short walk (<15min) from Station and Centre of Marsden. Great Café across the canal. Not awfully secluded, lots of walkers passing by. While no balcony like others, made up for by big spacious windows. Space for Car Parking on site. Pre-made Fire and Flowers are lovely touches, besides very minor cleaning oversights that didn’t interfere, great place, sleeping 4 would be a squeeze for 1

Red Brook cabin was a wonderfull place to spend the night after a very wet 2nd day on the Pennine way. Luxurious and lovingly decorated with some nice personal touches to make you feel at home. Very quiet at night and an orchestra of birds in the morning. Would recommend!

Lovely location and very good for dogs, close to the canal for a walk. Friendly welcome and a cosy little place to stay

Check in was really easy as the host sent us all the codes for the barrier as well as obtaining the key for the cabin. Lovely cabin in a very beautiful environment. Jacuzzi was really looked after and had a great time enjoying our BBQ as well. Only concern was the checking in time which was 4pm. I think 4pm is really late to check in as we already lose 1 day of our enjoyment. Something to reconsider and perhaps change it to 2pm. Overall highly recommend it.

Just home from a wonderful stay! Clear Instructions, beautiful decor, spotless.. The village is lovely and Martin the host was very responsive throughout with any information l may have needed prior to the stay.. Lots of added extras which was a lovely touch.. Definitely a hidden gem, Thank you so much ☺️ x

Ideal location for transport links to the city centre, easy check in process even with us arriving later, exactly what we needed

A really lovely little stay within reach of York. To get into York we did both the park and ride one day and on the other days we caught the bus from directly outside the property and then got a taxi back for £15 on an evening. The cabin itself is lovely. Really well thought out. The kitchenette has a fridge/freezer/oven/hob/toaster and kettle so was really well kitted out for self catering. Our children loved the games room and most evenings ended with darts and snooker being played - normally at the same time! There’s so much to do in York and we also drove to the Eden Camp museum and had a full day there. Kieran was on hand if we had any questions or needed anything too. We loved the ‘picture window’ looking out of the back of the cabin. We were all delighted to see red kites flying above the meadow quite frequently and also very near to us. We also loved discovering a little hedgehog snuffling about in the hedgerow.

Beautiful idyllic setting. Felt very private. Lovely retreat for a couple taking a break away from family responsibilities!

This is a unique and wonderful place to stay. Nigel’s artistry and craftsmanship show in every detail of The Carriage which he has lovingly restored to its former glory (but with all mod cons). Nigel was also a great host. The Carriage was a highlight of our trip.

Great cabins in a small and rural place. Not a huge site with hundreds of cabins all overlooking eachother. The configuration of cabins is well thought out. You don’t feel as though you’re being looked over by your neighbours. Beautiful Scenery and locked away in a place so surprising. Can’t wait to come back

Wow!!! No complaints here. A well deserved five star review. This lovely cottage is great for one or two adults. For a quite romantic weekend or for hitting the trails for hiking or biking. Close to main road for groceries or restaurants. Easy transportation options. We took the 84 bus most times. Nicky is very friendly and well informed. Always available to answer questions. The cottage was immaculate. Everything has been well thought out and provided. Excellent maps and info provided. Which we could have stayed longer. Won’t stay anywhere else if in the area. Thanks Nick
