King fisher cottage is a tranquil eco cottage set on the rivers edge of 11 acres of wild farmland and beautifully landscaped gardens that offer total privacy. The cottage has a semi-outdoor bath for bathing while star gazing, a kitchenette, living area & bedroom. There is no wifi & minimal phone reception, the perfect place to get away and unwind an enjoy nature. PLEASE NOTE: June through to September the track is too soft for a car so you need to park in the carpark and walk 40m to cottage.

Walk though to the walk in tile shower, handbasin and toilet- there is also a Laundry in your room.

Located just a few steps away from Tauranga's harbour and with a boat ramp 10 metres from the front gate you can easily enjoy boating, jet skiing, kayaking and swimming with friends or family. In 2017 Ricky & Micaela renovated the woolshed into the countryside retreat it is now, located in the Papamoa Hills with beautiful views, nestled in nature on a lifestyle block.
