Really great apartments. Great location next to the hot tubs!! Nice and quiet for a summer holiday. Very clean and a great base for exploring the area. Dion was very helpful and responsive with some great recommendations about things in the area. Many thanks for a great stay!

Place was well maintained. Dion has been a great host though virtually but was always available if we needed him. Place was worth the price and did easily accommodate four families with children. The balcony view was another level to enjoy nature. Heating was perfect. We look forward to booking again with him.

A really great home for our group of 11 It fit everyone perfectly The bathrooms were nice and spacious We got to enjoy the fireplace and the view of the stars at night were really clear! The town is just a few minutes away with the things you need and we were just a quick drive to Turoa ski fields. I highly recommend this for big groups

A great spot. The accommodation was warm, clean and had everything we needed. Central to great restaurants and easy to Main Street.

We had a big group (19) doing the Tongariro Crossing. Dion's place was the perfect fit for us. Close to eateries, the main street, hot tubs next door and only a short drive to National Park/Crossing. Dion was incredible to deal with. So patient and helpful. We will definitely make this an annual, if not biannual event using Dion's accommodation. Thanks Dion!

Great house and a handy location to everything we needed for a quick weekend family get away.

The host (Ruapehu Chalet Rentals) was helpful and gave us clear instructions right away. It was a lovely private home with good-sized rooms. We BBQ'd both nights – loved it! The kitchen and rooms were clean and tidy. It was really close to the market, too. We'll definitely stay again. Thanks!

I was traveling with a friend from the UK, exploring parts of the North Island. Really enjoyed staying at Hans' place. Beautiful old cottage, very clean & cosy. Were treated with homemade bread & fruit from their trees. The house is close to town. Gorgeous weather & had fun wandering through the market by the river.

Brilliant. Everything you want an AirBnB to be: clean, comfortable, spacious, well-stocked. Arnika and the team were helpful and always responsive. 10/10. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Ohakune. Thank you, Arnika! *I will note that we stayed in a unit in the rear of the building whereas 2 others face a somewhat busy street. Don’t know if noise would be an issue there or not. We had no problem.

Property fitted description and photos. We visited during a very cold period and property was warm and well heated throughout. When we arrived, the property was spotlessly clean, the host had left fresh milk, bread and the tea/ coffee selection was high quality and abundant. There were other gifts such as chocolate and wine. So we felt welcome after a long journey. Kitchen equipment is well supplied and top quality. The bathroom had a powerful shower, luxury bathtub and the towels & soap products were as you would expect in a 5 star hotel. Bed linen was excellent quality as described and beds were comfortable. Host provided amenities such as easy wireless connectivity. The property is away from busy roads and quiet. Overall a very enjoyable stay, would rebook
