Holiday rentals with lake access in Whatcom County

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful lake house! The location was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house was spotless, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was definitely the lake access — we spent hours out on the water with the provided kayaks and paddle boards. It was such a fun and memorable experience. The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout. Would absolutely stay here again — highly recommend!

A comfortable, clean house with plenty of room for a family or adult friend group. Super helpful and friendly host who responds immediately. Enjoyed the media room and huge new screen. House is in Sudden Valley, so 20+ min drive to Bellingham downtown. OTOH, SV has gorgeous golf course, beaches & lake access, small parks, tennis courts. There are two close casual restaurants and a small market.

Beautiful beach home! So well appointed with everything you need and very clean. The views from the deck and quiet beach below cannot be beat.

We were lucky to have stayed at this lovely cottage while attending a several-day tournament in Burlington. The location was ideal with easy access to the freeway, yet also providing a quiet, serene and beautiful environment to relax and unwind after a busy day. Carlee and Mark were excellent hosts, and the entire cottage was very clean, well-furnished and comfortable--from the common space furniture to the beds. We arrived very late at night, but we easily located the cottage and the self check-in was straight forward. The weather was wet and chilly for May, but the hosts had made certain the cottage was warm when we arrived. We especially enjoyed the views from the numerous windows in daylight, and the the glow of the electric fireplace at night. Everything at the cottage was as described and it met all of our needs and more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage and would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful home! The host was lovely and very prompt in responses. The place is beautifully decorated and spacious! The master bedroom & bath were super comfortable. The house was stocked with all essentials. The welcome basket was beautiful! We had an amazing stay!

Wonderful stay, felt very comfortable. The surroundings are so beautiful. House is sitting right next to the water. The only thing you might want to plan for, is that there is not any shopping or restaurant close by. There was a small convenience store that has limited items, and prices are double what you’d normally pay. So just make sure you do your shopping in Burlington or Bellingham.

We had a relaxing stay at Nathan's and really enjoyed the decks on every floor of the house and ample seating in the dining area. The decks are perfect for sitting outside to enjoy the view and BBQ with the family. There is a Whole Foods 20 mins away, plenty of breweries in the area, and would highly recommend dropping by Camber Coffee for both drinks and food.

it's a lovely stay. very spacious the bed is very large. lots of pots and pans to cook from, a grill. a pool for the summer and hot tub when your there in the winter time still but want to enjoy the water. the club house is also very close to room. Great stay. would recommend :)

This studio is a lovely place to relax and unwind. The area was so quiet, and the sound of the small creek nearby lulled us to sleep at night. The view was better than I expected from the pictures. The studio had an abundance of amenities, which made it easy to do basic cooking. The Rosario Grill was within walking distance and had delicious food, craft cocktails and a lovely outdoor neighborhood vibe when we wanted something close. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future!

One of the best stays we’ve had. This is just the loveliest setting, with so many activities. The cabin is absolutely rustic but if your emphasis is on the outdoors and the location rather than amenities you’ll love it as much as we did. We grilled for friends and fished and swam and hiked and played uno flip for hours. We’ll be back!

This little cabin on the lake is a treasure. You couldn't ask for a more serene environment and stunning views. Rita is the perfect host - great communication, and set the place up with all the nice touches. She is super-responsive to any request. The pictures don't do it justice - Rita, I'm sending you some better ones!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was well stocked and the view was beautiful! We brought our own paddle boards and had lots of fun in the lake. Because it wasn’t very warm we pretty much had the dock and lake to ourselves. As some people mentioned the busy road is a bit loud at night. We would definitely stay here again!

The place was quiet and clean. The host was very easy to get ahold of with questions, and helpful. Overall great experience we plan to visit again someday.
