Waterfront holiday rentals in Wijdemeren

We absolutely loved our stay here! The apartment on the water gave us the full Utrecht vibes we were looking for on our visit. It was right in the middle of everything, super easy to explore, and made us feel like part of the Utrecht scene. Watching the boats in the evening was a major highlight of our trip. My whole family agreed, we would love to go back and stay there!

Kim is very responsive to any communications. Well equips home. Left some items by way of coffee etc to help when you first arrive.

Great location, close to center of Utrecht and all activities. The apartment is very comfortable, quiet and convenient. The kitchen is fully equipped. Rob is a wonderfull host, available and very helpful.

I enjoyed my stay in Muiderberg. I needed a convenient place to stay for one night in between moving house and this apartment was the perfect solution. The host was very flexible with the check-in time and even let me park a large van in her driveway. The accommodation itself was spacious, clean and had a nice atmosphere. It's actually much nicer than the photos used on Airbnb. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a quieter place to stay nearby Amsterdam or to someone who wants some days away in a cute dutch town.

We loved our time in this artsy, welcoming and charming little spot! Lex and Sylvie were very responsive and helpful, checking in and also leaving some great nibbles in the kitchen (fruit, juice, yogurt, cheese, jam, butter and much more!) They also gave us a heads up about the Utrecht Pride event, which is not to be missed if you can be there for it. The boat parade goes right down the lovely canal right outside the door. We loved walking around the neighborhood, with great restaurants and bakeries. The apartment was the perfect space for our two adults and one teen and we took advantage of sitting out front along the canal every single day. It’s an older building and you can hear the floorboards upstairs but it was never an issue for sleeping because Lex and Sylvie didn’t seem to be night owls. I would love to come back someday!

Wir hatten vier tolle Tage in der Unterkunft (zu dritt). Die Lage der Unterkunft ist hervorragend, in einer belebten Gegend und trotzdem etwas abgeschieden, da oberhalb des Hafenbeckens. Die Aussicht von der Dachterrasse ist am Morgen, wie auch am Abend super schön. Geräumige Wohnung mit Platz. Im Küchenblock fehlen einige wenige Dinge (Schneidebrett, Sieb) und es gibt keinen richtigen Backofen, nur ein großes Multifunktionsgerät mit Grillfunktion und Mikrowelle. Die Ausflugsziele sind super vielfältig und es ist für jeden etwas dabei (sportliche Aktivitäten auf dem Wasser und außerhalb), Fahrten nach Amsterdam oder Utrecht, Radtouren, Museen... Catherine oder die Kolleg*innen vom Hafenbüro sind tagsüber immer ansprechbar bei Fragen. Hinweis: Die Unterkunft ist nur über eine außenliegende Wendeltreppe zu erreichen. The apartment was lovely and cozy, with plenty of useful amenities that made our stay comfortable. The host was very kind and responsive, which we really appreciated. Overall, the place was clean and well-maintained, though the bedsheets could use a refresh. The beds are very soft (something to keep in mind depending on your preference). Despite these minor points, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again!

It was a super lovely place to stay. I wish it was a little closer to the city center but I really loved the drive from the metro station, the fields were very beautiful and peaceful. It was really quiet out there and there Airbnb was gorgeous.

Very nice and quiet place. More than enough room for our family of five. About half an hour from Amsterdam. Having a car is a must. All in all, we had a great time.

Avec mes amis nous avons passé un très bon week-end sur place. Tout est équipé parfaitement. Tom est très réactif en cas de problème.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, die Wohnung war wie erwartet, die Zimmer verteilen sich auf zwei Etagen, unten beim Eingang ist eine Gästetoilette. Im ersten Geschoss ist der wunderschöne große Wohnraum mit offener Küche und zwei Balkonen, der eine direkt am Wasser gelegen, mit wunderbarer Aussicht. Man hat einen Fernseher in der Küche und die Möglichkeit eine Leinwand mit Laptop oder Konsole zu nutzen. Umgebung sehr ruhig, Supermarkt fussläufig erreichbar ebenso wie diverse Restaurants alles andere in Max 20 fahrminuten erreichbar. Wir haben den Aufenthalt zu dritt genossen und ausreichend Platz! Das Badezimmer hat Dusche und Wanne. Die Küche ist vollständig ausgestattet und auch im Kühlschrank war ausreichend Platz, Wir danken Martin sehr für sein Vertrauen und die tolle Zeit in Loosdrecht. Wir würden wiederkommen, vielleicht mal im Sommer :)

Een fantastische plek, uniek aan de plas. Sfeervol en van alle gemakken voorzien. Met een uitstekende gastheer.

Wir hatten einen kurzen, sehr schönen Silvesteraufenthalt bei Gerard mit tollem Blick auf das Feuerwerk überm Wasser. Die Wohnung ist modern und schön eingerichtet und verfügt über einen großen Ess- und Wohnbereich. Insbesondere die Küche ist mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet. Gerard hat auf Rückfragen schnell und hilfreich reagiert. Auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen!

Veel licht, modern, prachtig gelegen. 3 slaapkamers. We hebben nog een elektrisch bootje gehuurd bij Otter, 5 min verderop. Bijna alle dagen mooi weer, dan is Nederland prachtig. We komen hier graag weer een keer terug.

I needed a reasonably priced get away and a place outside the busy city to stay while I adventured around Amsterdam. A bus stop was right by the house that made transportation super easy. I felt at home every night I stayed during my two weeks in the Netherlands. The local area is beautiful and really gives you the full experience of day to day life. The restaurants near by were really delicious. I spent a lot of days just resting and relaxing in the home and it was far more spacious than I could have imagined. The location, the atmosphere, the space, and the town all made for the perfect first time experience in the Netherlands. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich freundlich und herzlich – man hat sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Auch unser kleiner Sohn hat sich rundum wohl gefühlt, was uns als Familie besonders wichtig ist. My family of four stayed at Max’s place for four nights. The location is great, with just about an hour’s drive to many popular destinations in Holland. The view of the lake from the balcony was beautiful. The apartment was clean and spacious. We truly enjoyed our stay in this quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and we will recommend it to our friends and family if they visit Holland in the future.

We had a lovely stay. Very nice apartment next to the beautiful canal.

L'appartamento di Maxime e' molto bello ed attrezzato, in linea con le foto e molto confortevole. Maxime e' stata molto disponibile e ci ha dato molte informazioni su come raggiungere Amsterdam e quali giri fare. La casa e' in posizione molto bella, splendita sicuramente nel periodo estivo. Noi siamo stati nel periodo di Capodanno ed e' stata perfetta come punto di appoggio per poi visitare Amsterdam.l, raggiungibile comodamente in auto in meno di 30 minuti. Molto, molto consigliata.

A lovely few days spent in Hilversum! Lots of great restaurants and easy walkable access to Hilversum train station. Pieter’s place was cosy and clean. He had all the amenities from a hairdryer to a coffee maker! It looked exactly like the photos and it was even next to a lovely park which was great for walks! Also directly next to a restaurant which overlooked the park and lake which was beautiful! Would stay again. Thank you Pieter!

It was an overall very pleasant stay which i enjoyed a lot. Wilma and her family are warm-hearted and absolutely welcoming. The apartment is very nice and exactly as described.

We had such a great time at Laura’s Airbnb! While it was a long walk to the heart of Amsterdam, there are so many public transportation options close by and they are so easy to navigate. The neighborhood is gorgeous and we would definitely stay again!

Joyce was an amazing host, her home in Utrecht is beautiful and well within walking distance of everything you need. She responded quick to our questions and even had a map of things we should visit within the city. I would recommend anyone to stay here, as her hospitality exceeds what you would expect from a host.
