Holiday rentals with a patio in Wiltshire

A lovely place to stay! It had everything we needed, and the personal touch of cake on arrival was just what we needed after our journey. We also really appreciated the milk and wine in the fridge — such thoughtful extras. Would definitely recommend!

Becky was such a great host! Allowed us a flexible check in which we were appreciative of as we stayed with our 9m old son. Had lots of amenities and kitchen was well equipped. The garden was beautiful also and we appreciated the grass for our baby to have a crawl on. Becky even picked the baby some fresh raspberries. Great spot to stay if visiting Stonehenge too.

We had a great stay, apartment was modern & had all facilities listed, and we loved the shower! Despite the heatwave, the place was as cool as possible. Great location, just far enough away from the ‘busyness’ of the centre but easy to get into by car or bus (we did park & ride). Nick was a great host, living nextdoor, very friendly & helpful. We thoroughly recommend a stay there.

Jophy welcomed us and we felt at home almost upon arrival. She is a lovely person, she loves dogs, she had a sense of humour and one of our dogs deserted us to be with her! It was an incredibly hot weekend, as high as 27C so we dreaded being too hot but it was easy to keep our rooms cool and the dogs stayed in the attached conservatory with all the windows open and they were very comfortable. The garden was completely fenced so the dogs were always safe and free to roam and Jophy lent us her doggy paddling pool although our dogs weren’t that keen. We had privacy and cool breezes in her beautiful garden and the area around Jophy’s is stunning and right next to the church. I can’t comment on things to do because we were there for a weekend seminar and returned home at night hot and bothered, then to relax in the garden. We will definitely go back because we attend these seminars at least twice a year and now we’ve found Jophy’s nowhere else will suffice.

Margaret was a fabulous host with lots of communication about location & directions & entry to property. Nice to have a parking place as well & very easy to walk into town. Had a lovely breakfast roll in Alice Park which is only a 5 minute walk away from property & very reasonable priced menu. Would definitely stay again x

Really enjoy my stay. The accommodation was great , very clean and all the facilities you need in there. I would throughly recommend a stay there, ideal if your planning on walking the canal and also v easy to get in and out of Bath by train

A really beautiful place to stay!! It was really unique and incredibly well decorated!! Central and on a great location, it was perfect for our weekend in Bath! Greg was extremely responsive and kind, and I would definitely recommend!

This was a lovely place to stay in the nice village of Shrewton and close to the grocery. Great if you have a vehicle. Close to Stonehenge. Our father-in-law broke his foot the day before coming and thankfully was able to stay on a fold out in living room as he would not have been able to navigate the stairs. The hot tub was delightful to soak in after a long flight.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! It had everything we needed and felt incredibly cosy and homely. Clare was a fantastic host—very accommodating and thoughtful, offering great suggestions for nearby attractions. The gas fire added an extra touch of comfort, especially in the evenings. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it! The house and kitchen was equipped with everything we could need. The garden area was spacious to sit out and have a drink/ food.

Kevin’s place was very clean and comfortable, it had everything you’d need for a short family stay. It was easy to find with a convenient nearby Co op supermarket. It all worked well for the five of us.

Very convenient for facilities in Marlborough. Great position for starting the Ridgeway Trail. Cottage was fine and very clean but maybe not so good for the elderly and infirm. Provisions on arrival most welcome.

Carthorse Barn is just simply stunning ! So spacious and beautifully decorated, we felt right at home . The day we arrived weather was not the greatest so having a wood stove was blissful. The cottage is very spacious and has everything needed for a comfortable stay , kitchen is fully equipped, downstairs toilet a welcomed bonus. Upstairs both bedrooms are immaculate, spacious and have very comfy beds . I loved the window bench in the kids bedroom, such a wonderful nook to relax. The main bedroom has the biggest and comfiest bed I have ever seen , such a beautiful wooden headboard too. I loved the free standing bath. The farm is also lovely and we enjoyed going to see the pigs and walking round the lakes.

Great stay, John brought an extra fan for us due to it being rather a warm day! Easy to access the house and comfortable beds. Fab shower. Lovely garden area to relax in. Thank you. Will stay again

Excellent hosts, friendly, helpful, responsive and gave us privacy too. Everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom, nice toiletries and thoughtful little touches. Excellent location for a multitude of walks, close to Cirencester and a short drive to surrounding Cotswold hotspots. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

Lovely friendly and proactive host, sent us some local info and recommendations without being asked to help us with our stay, and were really responsive (and fun!) to communicate with. Such a great stay. The place was lovely too, and as quirky as we expected. Aircon was great too given it was a hot weekend. Thanks!

Victoria's property is exquisitely decorated and furnished throughout. The location is perfect for a short stroll into the town centre and access to the disused railway walking trail opposite. The living room is large and very light and airy with a high ceiling. Although at first floor level, the back door opens out onto a lovely enclosed garden. Ideal for our dog. Above all, we were very surprised as to how peaceful and quiet the location was. Thoroughly recommend it, couldn't have wished for any more, Victoria had thought of everything.

Had a really lovely stay will be back if work brings me this way and if its available. Supremely clean, beautiful bathroom looks brand new! Comfy bed, lush shower, everything you could need in the kitchen and a funky kettle lol lovely snacks and tv with standard channels as well as YouTube Netflix etc great place to stay highly recommended

Everything was perfect! Smooth arrival; clear instructions and absolutely spotless, such care and thought has been put in and it doesn’t go unnoticed. Michelle and Bill should be very proud!! Felice and Peter were very welcoming to myself and 3 and 5 year old and very understanding of any problems which can occur with young children. The house was very comfortable and decorated with Felice's beautiful art work. A great location in regards to being a lovely ten mins walk to the town along the river. A nice park nearby too which was a plus for the children. A lovely touch having fresh bread, milk, butter and jam provided. Thank you for a lovely stay.
