Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Winchcombe

Firstly the cottage was exactly what you see in the pictures, it’s a definite must stay! Perfectly situated in a lovely cosy hamlet, not that I was trying to find anything wrong with but there was genuinely nothing wrong, amazing cottage! It’s had everything you need to make your stay great, all the amenities plus a cute garden which is perfect for unwinding after day of exploring the Cotswold with the dog. Sue’s communication was great, responded almost instantly and has to be the thorough when it comes to information before you arrive, she left no stone unturned! We were supposed to stay over the Easter bank holiday but had to change the dates last minute due to an unsuspected commitment and Sue couldn’t have been more helpful which was greatly appreciated. All in all this was a wonderful stay!

Helen’s cottage was so wonderful! We would love to return to stay at the cottage and visit Cirencester. Helen has thought of everything. The whole experience was great- well equipped kitchen, everything in new condition, great shower, comfortable beds, perfect for walking around town and exploring the area. We cannot say enough about this lovely place, it is very special! Highly recommended!!

Absolutely beautiful stay in the Cotswolds. The house was absolutely stunning, as described and more than we expected. Loved the special little touches like the freshly made bread and biscuits. Beds were comfy. Just wish we had booked longer. Will definitely be back!!

Lovely place. Immaculate and beautifully decorated. Only comment - the accommodation is right next to the main house and so view through the windows is the house. There are privacy blinds and so not a problem for us

Peglars barn was a truly beautiful place to stay. We visited for 2 days and it wasn’t long enough. The moment you walk through the doors the backdrop is jaw dropping and it doesn’t get old! I chose peglars barn as a place to propose to my now fiancé and it was perfect. Thank you Sophie for being a great host!

If you look up “charming” in the dictionary, there will be a picture of Verity’s barn. I guess I am dating myself as no one looks anything up in a dictionary anymore, but you get my meaning. After enjoying morning tea in the garden, we considered locking ourselves in. However, the beautiful surrounding countryside beckoned. We would definitely return.

James is a fantastic host. The Coach House is beautiful. Attention to detail and the interior decor is stunning and of high quality. Beds very comfortable. Hot tub was a gorgeous way to spend the evenings and the loggia provide shelter from the very high tempretues we had. Everything was impeccable and we'd love to return. Local eateries and towns are fab and the setting for the home is peaceful and very picturesque.Thank you to you both and your mum

We had a wonderful stay in the cottage- it’s beautiful, homely and well catered and stocked. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and really try to ensure you have a great time there. The surroundings are brilliant and really worked for our multigenerational weekend get away- there was something for everyone. We will definitely come back. Ann's place is incredible- stayed for two nights and there is everything you could possibly need or anticipate in the house. We had a great time - the pool and hot tub were very clean and the house was perfect! Ann was extremely responsive and helpful. Would absolutely book again!

We loved our stay here - quirky and unusual, but felt right at home! Gorgeous views. The hot tub was easy to set up with clear instructions, and enough logs to last us our stay. The natural pool was beautiful and had lovely newts and felt very calm. Check-in and out instructions were very clear, and we had all the facilities we needed.

Beautiful peaceful spot in the Cotswold countryside. The cottage is spacious and well equipped with great walks straight from the door. The pool was such a fantastic asset and really added to our holiday.

We had a great stay at the barn, celebrating a big birthday. There were 6 adults staying and we were all extremely comfortable. Mike and Joan were very hospitable, generous and responsive. The barn is as fabulous as the photos suggest. The views are amazing. The pool is wonderful. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We very much hope to return.

We are all family of four, we really enjoyed our stay, the cottage is just as described both in the pictures and the listing details. the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, the perfect get away! Rachel was very responsive and helpful. We all had a wonderful time and hope 5o be back soon!

Great stay with the family at Chris & Alexandra’s. Great cottage exactly as described and located in a lovely gated community. Comfortably housed 6 adults and 2 toddlers. We benefited from clear and detailed instructions both for finding the place and staying in it. The hosts responded promptly to any questions we had. Would highly recommend the place for family stays!

We loved our stay at Luma and Jacob’s beautiful home. It was perfectly located and extremely well equipped with everything we could possibly want for our stay. We greatly appreciated the gift basket of goodies, the stylish decor, and lovely garden. Our family of four had plenty of space to spread out and be comfortable. We enjoyed cooking in the well-stocked kitchen, making cappuccinos, working out in the gym, walking to Sudeley Castle and the restaurants of Winchcombe, and sitting in the garden. A perfect escape in the Cotswolds! Thank you Luma and Jacob for making us feel so at home. We can’t wait to return!

the cottage was lovely and had welcome treats waiting for us and the dog. we had milk, prosecco, bread, chocolate, cake, biscuit. she prepared a folder with all the things we would need for use during our stay. not intrusive as a host but responsive when needed. we requested 2 fans and early check in. worth the money. the area is within east reach of other villages. would highly recommend

We had an amazing stay at Penny's house in Winchcombe. The house sits on a main street in the village, which is quintessential Cotswolds & is very picturesque. We were 4 couples and had a lot of space, both inside the house and outside in the beautiful backyard, making for a very comfortable stay. We also have to give a shout out to the spa-like towels - thick and fluffy! We really appreciated how nice they were compared to your average rental towels! Would definitely book again.

A delightful spot on the edge of the Cotwolds overlooking the Severn Valley, with the steam train going past! The accommodation is charming, secluded and well equipped. A simple and delicious breakfast of yoghurt and granola is provided, with tea and coffee making facilities. Good food is on hand at the Royal Oak next door or in Winchcombe 5 minutes drive away - with plenty of delightful walks over Gretton Hill into Winchcombe - approximately 30 minutes. Lots of other lovely, longer walks with pubs placed strategically along the way. This is a wonderful get-away for those seeking relief from the rush and bustle.

Leonie’s cottage was a great place to stay to explore the Cotswolds for a few days. The cottage was clean and in a great location. Parking was easy and Leonie was an excellent host!

Cottage ideal. Wanted to show friends around the Cotswolds, close to tourist areas but in a little village. Cottage walking distance to village with some nice pubs. Peaceful, idyllic surroundings. Would recommend

I would like to thank Hamish for a really lovely stay. It really is the perfect hide away if you’re staying in Cheltenham. So quiet yet so close to everything. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying there.
