Farmstay holiday rentals in Wine Country

We really liked our stay. Very comfortable and well thought out. Donna gave a lot of extra amenities most Airbnb’s don’t have. Like kitchen and bathroom supplies. And nice private outdoor settings.

This was a great spot for our 48hrs in Sonoma. The cottage was perfect for four adults with a shared bathroom. Check in was simple, checkout was also simple. The cottage, as mentioned in previous reviews, is close to the main road but we weren’t bothered by the road noise. Comfy beds, plenty of towels, cute back patio area to sit and enjoy the complementary bottle of wine. Easy drive to anywhere you need to go.

We were two couples from the Bay Area. It was perfect for the four of us. Beautifully decorated, comfortable furniture and comfortable beds. Plenty of drawer space in bedrooms and closets for our cloths and things. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely outdoor space. Laura was very available for any questions. Check in and check out were very easy. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this place!

We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage! The hosts, Lynn and John, were friendly and welcoming. We brought our baby and they left out a booster seat, child plates/bowls, toys, and made up the crib for him! We were able to do a barrel tasting, which was fantastic! We loved the hot tub and the garden. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the corn hole and fire pit! Will have to come back!

This cottage is the perfect private getaway in the woods! A beautiful meadow surrounded by forest, pleasant and comfortable cabin amenities, and a magical (private) outdoor shower filled with ferns made this a wonderful place to stay! Built by the owners, close to the forest and the beach, so amazing.

We have stayed at Nathan’s cottage several times and each time is absolutely incredible! The cottage is so comfortable and beautifully decorated, the surroundings are stunning, and Nathan is so wonderful to communicate with. You just feel surrounded by the nature and beauty of the area. We spent so much time being outside on the lovely deck just soaking up the ambience of the outdoors. It’s such a treat to visit time after time.

The quiet cottage was exactly as described, and perfect for a getaway! It was private and peaceful, with a beautiful garden and surrounded by nature. It's common to see deer or hummingbirds during the day, and sitting out on the porch enjoying the views and the sunshine was our favorite part. The cottage had everything we could need, including a fully stocked kitchen, board games, books, and plenty of DVDs to choose from as well as streaming services. The hosts kindly provided a list of recommendations for local grocery stores and restaurants, sorted by distance and price, which was very helpful. The cottage is secluded and up in the foothills away from the main city, but only a 20 minute drive from Mendocino grocery stores and beaches, which was the perfect setting for us. Exploring the property and watching the wildlife were the highlights of this trip! I would highly recommend visiting.

We had a lovely stay at The Blue Barn!

This was such a gem of an Airbnb. The space (bottom floor) was spacious and had everything we needed for a family of 3. It was also gorgeous - filled with art and a garden in the back that had strawberries and blueberries that Sean encouraged us to pick. Sean is also such a kind and sweet Airbnb host, sharing things to do in the city and where to eat on Noriega street. We were so satisfied, happy, and cozy. Highly recommend if you are visiting SF and want to be close to Golden Gate Park and Ocean beach, and have a car!

We had a wonderful stay on the farm! Curtis was extremely friendly and hospitable both before, during and after our stay. We loved all the animals, the brewery and live music, and evening by the campfire. Not to forget the fantastic sunset and absolutely stunning grounds! So glad we found this hidden gem, cannot wait to come back!

We enjoyed our Father’s Day getaway filled with lots of family giggles, swimming, sun, and the best company. The home was relaxing and exclusive. We felt like we were in the Italian countryside paired with local Napa valley wine (who could ask for more?!) located near the heart of Napa and the best restaurants/grocery. We would love to come back soon!

I can’t say enough positive things about this beautiful home. It was a little bit of magic in Sonoma county, very close to the town center but private and in the valley surrounded by fields. The home was gorgeous with beautiful linens and towels and a perfectly stocked kitchen.

Our stay in the hills was perfect and peaceful! The restored Spartan trailer was like time travel, with original wood paneling, kitchen and bath fixtures. If you like vintage you will love it. The bed was very comfortable, and the deck fabulous. The best part was staying in the beautiful hills outside Petaluma, seeing the cows grazing, and seeing (and listening to) all the birds. Get up early to see the misty sunrise over the hills and oaks. We hope to return!

Absolutely lovely home to stay. Everything described as is, easy access. Very comfortable bed.

Located in a beautiful valley in the heart of West Marin lies Cow Track Ranch - a working cattle farm that’s in amongst the most beautiful scenery imaginable. The property is located 1.25 miles down an unpaved road which incidentally makes a great road for a jog or walk. The farm dogs are friendly. It’s very dark and quiet at night which is much appreciated. Recommendation to bring the food and drinks you need as there’s no grocery/restaurant immediately nearby. The property is well positioned between Novato, Petaluma, and Point Reyes. We loved every minute of our time on the ranch and look forward to our next stay!

WOW! We’ve stayed in many Airbnb’s and this one was one of the best!!! The home was super cozy and the absolute best views. Watching the fog lift was incredible. We also loved watching the deer on the property. The hosts answered all of our questions and gave us a great restaurant recommendation and we loved it so much we ate there every night 😊 We used the hot tub every day and it was fantastic and very clean. The home had everything we needed and more! It got very light in the early morning so I would suggest a sleep mask if you like to sleep in. Everything was a 10 out of 10! Definitely want to come back!!!

This is the best condition we’ve experienced in an Airbnb property. Like new, comfortable, clean and nicely decorated No clutter. Very quiet surroundings with vineyard views. We were four adults for five days and found it perfect for our stay. Terrific access to Healdsburg, Russian River and Dry Creek Valleys. We’d go back anytime we can.

Really enjoyed our stay at Kelly’s in Duncan’s Mills—this place had it all! Beautiful scenic views right off the back balcony and easy river access, made us feel immersed in nature. Plenty to do with your own private dock, kayaks, bikes, hot tub, and nearby town/shops just a mile down the road. Would definitely recommend this spot for a relaxing and fun getaway. Kelly was also an excellent, responsive host and helped make our trip nice and smooth. Thank you!

Our stay at Linda’s cottage was wonderful! It’s a beautiful setting and everything was above our expectations! We enjoyed the pool, played bocce ball, and the garden areas are gorgeous! It’s a very peaceful and relaxing location. A great place to getaway and rejuvenate! Linda was a very kind and gracious host too! We definitely plan to return to Linda’s cottage in the near future!

Overall, very nice! My only real issue was the inflexability on the check out end of things. We had to leave a day earlier than planned, through no fault of our own. I tried for a late check out a day earlier (only 3 hours), to save some money of course. The response was, well you are booked until the 20th, so you can stay as long as you want on the 19th. I just felt that there could have been a little compromise, as people sometimes have to change plans due to circumstances beyond their control. Maybe a charge for staying later could have been offered, but I ended up paying for the entire last night without actually staying there. I have had similar situations over the years with other hosts, and they have been more than happy to compromise.

The most incredible home and location!! So far exceeded our expectations!! The setting was gorgeous and serene and perfectly located - short drive to amazing restaurants and vineyards!! We’re already searching for our next opportunity to visit this amazing property!! Couldn’t recommend it more!!!

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay during our time on the coast. This home is absolutely incredible-- breathtaking views, gorgeous decor, large kitchen with ample cookware, amazing deck, CLEAN, comfortable beds, fantastic location. Sea Ranch itself is a wonderful place for those seeking a quiet & peaceful area surrounded by awe-inspiring natural beauty. Pauline is an excellent host with great communication who went above & beyond to ensure we had a great stay. I highly recommend Seaward Bliss, and I can't wait to return again one day!

I loved this place. It was beautifully decorated and had amazing views. The pool was an added benefit on hot days! It’s somewhat small for a group because it only has one bedroom but still worth the experience.
