YurtSimple is where life slows down and people unplug. It’s forest bathing in nature. It’s getting away from it all to spend time with a partner, by oneself, and sometimes with pets. You’ll be driving past YurtCation (about 300 feet past YurtCation) to get to YurtSimple. YurtCation is 20’ in diameter and YurtSimple is 16’ in diameter. Wood and charcoal are provided. You may cook on the indoor wood stove top, or visit any number of great restaurants 2 miles away. You can even order pizza delivery

Bayfield Rustic Yurt 1 (Evergreen)

Explore thousands of acres of the Bayfield County Forest and enjoy endless miles of exceptionally maintained non-motorized recreational trails. The yurt has direct access to CAMBA mountain bike trails and Mt. Ashwabay ski trails. The landscape is also spectacular. Take in the panoramic views of Lake Superior and the Onion River valley. This is a rustic, minimally maintained yurt set in the middle of the county forest, so come prepared to relax, unwind and explore the wonders of the north woods.

YurtCation

YurtCation is an off-grid getaway with lake frontage and nature trails. There is another yurt about 300ft up the same driveway. There are a total of two yurts and two homes that have access to the same 17 acre lake. Each yurt has their own queen-sized comfy bed, wood stove, Weber grill w/charcoal, fire pit, firewood, fresh water, canoe, and clean Porto Potty. The yurts are about 80 feet from the lake’s ordinary high water mark to comply with zoning. We are fully permitted and have many repeats.

Stone Moss Eco-Retreat Yurt

The Yurt at Stone Moss offers 1-2 guests a charming & comfortable “glamping” getaway. We border the Pine River in Richland County, center of the beautiful Driftless region of southwest Wisconsin. Perfect for a quiet, nature-based retreat, we are less than four hours drive from Chicago, Milwaukee, and the Twin Cities. The Perry Pines Yurt is a 4-season yurt on Perry Lake less than 2 miles from Cable. With quick access to CAMBA mountain bike trails (4 miles to the North End Trailhead), the Birkie Start Area (5 miles), and on an ATV route, it's a great basecamp for your outdoor activities. Sit on the deck and listen to the loons in the summer or warm up next to the woodstove or in the barrel sauna in the winter. Enjoy a full kitchen, bathroom w/shower, lake views, and a fun little unique cabin option!

Driftless Yurt on Harmony Ridge

Our little piece of heaven is located 9 miles NW of Viroqua, WI. Our yurt is nestled in 14 acres of red /white oak, walnut and maples above the Bad Axe River. The yurt is 300 sq. ft, comfortably sleeps 4, pet friendly and has a large wrap around deck. We have a wood burning stove, propane cooking stove top, a fully stocked kitchen galley, 8 gallons of drinking / cooking water, propane and fire pit grill, there's an extra deck with picnic table, manual shower and composting toilet.

We are close to great outdoor recreation near Lake Superior and are about 6 miles from Meyers Beach in the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. Our property is located on 40 acres and is very remote. We are on the edge of thousands of acres of county land. The perfect escape!
