The instructions and local information was great and even though we had a plan of things to do, it provided us a couple of awesome ideas for our down time. We had a fantastic stay and loved the local neighborhood. It is super easy to walk a few minutes to the T to get into Boston. We had all adults, so it was great to have lots of space to spread out and each have our own bathroom. Bedrooms are all upstairs. Be aware that there are lots of stairs, if mobility is an issue. There is a train that runs directly behind the house. It is loudest in the basement bedroom. This wasn’t an issue for us, as we are used to noise at home, but if you are sensitive to sound, bring earplugs for sleeping. The kitchen was well-equipped and there are so many fun toys if you have little ones. The area is very safe and easy to walk to restaurants and cute little shops. Mike and Anna are great hosts and very responsive to any needs or questions. Beds were comfy and everything we needed was at hand. The neighbors were also very friendly when we were out strolling. The home is very homey and well-decorated—not like the usual cookie-cutter-style of most rentals.

We really enjiyed our stay and would recommend to anybody else.

We had a great stay—perfect for our quick family trip! The home was incredibly clean, cozy, and well-stocked with everything we needed, from a pack ’n play to extra towels, bed linens, and kitchen essentials. Marybeth was wonderful to communicate with and shared some great local dining recommendations. We were very happy with our accommodations and would absolutely stay again!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Darryl’s place for our honeymoon, and it was absolutely perfect. Darryl was incredibly kind, welcoming, and a fantastic communicator throughout our stay. He provided us with amazing recommendations for local sights and restaurants, which really helped make our trip special. The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We couldn’t have asked for a better host or a better experience. Highly recommend!

We have stayed at a lot of airbnbs but Shea was absolutely one of the best hosts we have ever had. Her place was very clean and was stocked with so many snack/food options. Shea was very quick to respond to any requests/questions. I highly recommend staying at her Airbnb if you are looking for a place while visiting Boston!

What can I say? They’ve thought of everything to make you feel welcome and right at home! Special snacks awaiting the kids with breakfast items already thought of! The indoor pool and hot tub were perfect for every day of our stay! The rooms were comfortable and felt right at home! Thank you for a perfect and memorable stay!

Amy was very responsive and communicative. The house was clean and maps took us right to the home. It was too early in the season to enjoy the pool but it was pristine and would have been great for hot summer weather. Amy was wonderful with trying to accomodate any requests and we liked the location from easy access to Salem and within a one hour drive to Boston!

Beautiful house in a lovely quiet neighborhood. Kitchen was amazing! Very walkable to Bearskin Neck and Old Garden Beach. We had a few little glitches the first night, but Rachel was very responsive and everything was perfect within 24 hours. Would absolutely be happy to stay there again. To future guests: Rockport is light on grocery stores, so even though most things are walkable, for groceries you might want a car.

I loved everything Maxine said and how she helped navigate around every even in the house, everything was so clean, very quite place good for professional working, everything was just beyond, amazing & lovely place you feel right at home with so much space to move around the house. We absolutely loved our stay at this home! It was extremely clean, cozy, and beautifully prepared — every detail made us feel so comfortable and welcome. Daniel and Monica were great hosts that responded to any questions or needs. They live right next to this guest house so we’re quick to respond. This house is a bit small but has enough space for up to three or maybe one more on the sun porch if using an available air mattress. It is comfortable and homey. The bedroom in the basement is fine but the rest of the basement is mostly unfinished. The pool would be a nice feature but it was too early in the season for a dip in the cold water. Plenty of stores and restaurants are within 5-10 minutes of here including a Market Basket, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, and big REI store among many others.

The check-in process was so smooth and finding the place was super easy! The house was absolutely gorgeous and accommodating for us to stay the night. We wished we could have stayed to enjoy the amenities that were part of the campground! The location was perfect for us to be able to go to our concert the night of check in! We will definitely be back in our future travels!

My stay was comfortable and met my expectations. I’d come back the next time I’m in the area!

The area was quiet and safe, very walkable, and reasonably close to the Red Line downtown. Hosts were communicative, accommodating, and generous. The complimentary snacks left for us were welcome after our long day of travel and late check-in when most restaurants were already closed.

Very neat and peaceful place to come back to after your day's journey in the local areas. Heidi is a very cooperative hostess that shows that she cares about her guests by her prompt responses and intuitive care for their needs! 10 out of 10bwould recommend and would absolutely come back!

Great place for my extended stay in the Boston area! Stephanie was communicative and flexible. The apartment had tons of awesome amenities that came in handy — including a bunch of toiletries, snacks, games, and even a toy for my dog! Nice location close to downtown Stoneham and the major highways with a grocery store nearby, as well as a nice walking trail. Would highly recommend!

We were delighted to stay at Vanessa’s home, which is even lovelier than the photos depict. The area and home are beautiful and quiet, with all the amenities we needed. We had the opportunity to meet Vanessa, and she was exceptionally kind. Very highly recommend!
