It is one of three located on a 90-acre forested property with multiple streams and hiking and is conveniently located a few feet from the Catamount Trail and up the road from the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail. During the cold season, a propane heater is provided to keep the tent warm.

Easy access to VAST snowmobile trails, within an hour's drive to 3 ski areas (Stowe, Smuggler's Notch and Jay Peak), X-Country skiing right outside the door or in Craftsbury or Stowe. Elmore State Park is 3 miles away. Hiking trails and kayaking abound!

It is well appointed with antiques, a hand carved queen bed and a big collection of eclectic books that we encourage our guests to go home with. We have lived on our homestead at the end of a dirt road in Northern Vermont for 50 years. Here we grow and raise +/-90% of our own food. We have beautiful gardens, a 200 acre woods (with trails) and many farm animals for you to visit. It is peaceful and quiet here. The cottage is next door to our house and workshop but you will have plenty of privacy.
