Holiday rentals with lake access in Woolwich

We stayed at Kathryn and Gus’s place for a month and really loved it. It’s an entire house surrounded by nature. The property overlooks a small lake near a hiking trail. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. Kathryn and Gus were great hosts. They were friendly, responsive, and had great recommendations for restaurants and places to see. We enjoyed relaxing on the cozy couch in front of the fireplace. We would love to come back again!

My family and I really enjoyed staying here. Everything was supper clean, lots of utensils in the kitchen for us to cook and comfy beds to sleep in. Jennifer was very quick to respond to my messages and very friendly.

Impeccably maintained property with dedicated parking. Spotless and welcoming throughout, featuring an exceptionally well-stocked kitchen. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. The home felt airy and bright, with charming peek-a-boo views of the town river. A special touch—Bob greeted us with a fresh peony on our first day, which we enjoyed all week long.

Wonderful, quirky place full of art with fantastic lake views. Eric was super friendly and responsive and gave us a great recommendation for breakfast!

The location was perfect with an easy walk to restaurants, shops and the Avon theatre. Our family really appreciated having lots of space for different activities in interests. The quiet let us all get a good night’s sleep.

Angeline was the perfect host, she was so accommodating. She thought of everything, down to creamer in the fridge for coffee. We got the chance to meet her and she's a lovely women, very friendly and helpful. The place is so charming and welcoming you instantly feel at home. We tried all her recommendations for resturants and we were not disappointed, the resturants truly are minutes away from her home on foot. We can't wait to have a chance to stay again. We stayed for a week looking for peace and relaxation and that is exactly what we got at Curtis' place! From the moment we walked in until the time we left we loved every minute. Everything was as good or better than the photos showed. The kitchen is well-appointed with everything needs to meal delicious meals. The bathrooms were squeaky clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Wi-fi worked well and we were able to stream services like Netflix, Crave, Prime, etc. We were the last cottage at the end of the road so it felt very private. We stayed in winter so the lake wasn't accessible but looks like it would be fun in summer! Curtis was an amazing host. He checked in with us throughout our stay to ensure everything was alright. We are already looking at booking another stay.

Tasha was amazing and extremely responsive. Anytime there were any small issues she was on top of it right away. She always gave us suggestions to ensure that we were having a good time and using all the tools she had. The location did not disappoint. Absolutely stunning waterfront. I highly recommend this property as a great vacation spot. Another note Tasha had everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and on the property. Five stars!!

Such a magical find near Cambridge. We felt right at home at Ahrens place. The two gas fireplaces were the perfect place to get cozy in front of after a long hike at one of the many near by trails. Such a bonus to be on the lake and watch the sunsets while warming up in front of a bomb fire. The wifi is very weak, but she informed us of this. Bring pre downloaded movies if you want to watch TV as there aren’t many movies to chose from on the satellite. Great stay. Grey value. Will stay again!

We spent our days in the busy city and needed a quiet, peaceful place to unwind each evening. This was exactly what we needed - and our gracious host patiently addressed all of our concerns, and answered all of our questions. My wife and I especially enjoyed sitting by the private pond and watching the geese.
