Cottage holiday rentals in Worcester

It was exactly what my family was looking for. It was relaxing and private. It allowed us to not feel cramped like a hotel stay, but allowed us to cook and enjoy the relaxing day. If you have a small kid, the golf cart is a must!

Our stay at this lakeside retreat was perfect! The house was exactly as described, with stunning views that exceeded expectations. Mornings with coffee and evenings with cocktails on the back porch became our favorite ritual. The picturesque fire pit and thoughtful touch of Hershey bars for s’mores were delightful, though we didn’t get to use them this time. Our host was incredibly responsive, quickly resolving a hot tub issue, and their winery recommendations were spot-on! Quick tip: If arriving after dark, keep exterior lights off initially to avoid lakeside gnats. We noticed a few stink bugs on day one (nature’s welcome!), but they completely disappeared afterward. Neither affected our enjoyment of this beautiful property at all. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. We were traveling for work in Massachusetts and typically we stay at Marriott property. I checked Airbnb to find a place that was kid friendly and this popped up. It was a new listing with no reviews yet, and it ended up exceeding our expectations. This cute little cabin is right on the water. Although it is smaller for me, pure square footage perspective it’s a two bedroom one full bath with a loft that sleeps two kids so the way it was set up felt like plenty of space for us. It has kayaks and paddle boards. There’s a beach and there’s a community pool. There’s an exercise facility. It easily slept my wife and I plus two kids in a fun loft that they got to climb in and out of, and grandma that came to help us watch the kids. The staff at the resort were very friendly and easy to work with. It felt very safe and private. The AC worked well. The beds were very comfortable. Overall this is gem and we will be staying here again for sure.

My stay at the lake house was perhaps my greatest experience at an Airbnb so far. It was our wedding weekend and the girls got ready there in the morning and hubby and I relaxed there afterwards. The incredible thoughtful touches, the care Talita and Vinny took to go the extra mile and make sure we had a pleasant time, our stay here was beyond perfect. It is decorated beautifully, lovely location, peaceful and private and excellent communication from the hosts. Could not ask for more. Book your stay here now!!! ❤️

From the minute we pulled into the driveway, our family was highly impressed with the views from Kristen's home. We ended our 2023 summer with a bang. This beautiful home had everything you could ever need on vacation. We enjoyed the backyard with nightly fires. Our teen daughter rarely left the bunk house. We loved the fact that our own private beach was just a few steps away & the public beach was less than ten minutes away. The kids and adults enjoyed the beach trampoline. Kristen was delightful to deal with. She was a SUPER host. So many little details and extras she puts into her beach home. Already thinking of our next visit.

We had a wonderful stay at Tyler's home. It was exactly as the pictures showed, and the view was spectacular! We walked to several restaurants and it was a short 20 min drive to Newport. I would absolutely stay here again. Tyler was helpful and responded quickly with any questions I had. One of my favorite Air B and B's

We needed a nice little place to stay while we visited family and friends. This was perfect. Cute and convenient, plus lots of fun amenities like a clubhouse, ball courts, kayaks and the lake. We went off season, so the pool was closed and it was too cold to boat, but it was still fun. We enjoyed walking the community, playing ping-pong and driving the golf cart.

We love it here! So peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful views of the lake and loved the walks and kayaking! This was our third stay. Jasmine and Jason are great hosts. There was an issue with the Keurig, and they came and replaced it with a brand new one the next day! Thank you Jasmine and Jason for a great stay!

Laurie's cabin was a very sweet lakeside getaway. We arrived at the cabin mid-nor'easter, so we had to get the wood stove going to take the chill off. Thankfully, Laurie had wood available on the property, and we were able to get the space warmed right up. The cabin is simply laid out, well out-fitted, and had everything we needed. Just a short walk to the water's edge where there are plenty of kayaks and canoes to take out on the lake. Laurie was a very accommodating host, and we are already looking forward to returning!

Linlin was a wonderful host and we loved this adorable cottage. It was incredibly clean, while still being warm and welcoming for us (and our pup). It's a little farther from the water than we had anticipated, but it's a relatively short and private walk to a dock with kayaks and beautiful views. Highly recommend!

Julie's cottage is so nice! The drive to and from is beautiful and peaceful with woodland scenes everywhere. The cottage is fully stocked in the kitchen, bath, and laundry. There are plenty of extra blankets and pillows. It's all here! Julie is also very responsive and helpful when needed. This is the best in the area! Once you stay here, other AIRBNB locations seem to be lacking.

Is a great place. Clean, comfortable. It is a basement apartment so the ceilings and doorways are lower than a normal house. I am 6 ft 5 in tall and I did not hit my head on the ceiling but the doorways were low where my hair would brush up. The bathroom sink and mirror were low also but all things were workable. I am NOT faulting her place at all. I am just tall. I will stay here again on my next trip to Connecticut. Elizabeth is nice and friendly. Once in a while you would hear the cat chasing the dog upstairs. but I just laughed at it. No noise was ever constant or non-stop. Slept very well. The early evening you would hear a train whistle way in the background almost like clockwork. Not disturbing, made it peaceful like you were in a small town country place. The river was nice. Hearing the river and wildlife was nice after a 10 hour workday. Highly recommend this for a stay. Only thing- wish the security light went on at 3am when I left. Hard to see going up the outside stairs.

This was the perfect spot for our mini vacation with our adult son and dog. The house was adorable and comfortable...the beds were especially comfy. The fenced in patio area and sun porch was so relaxing and although no one actually slept on it, the daybed was very comfortable as well. We enjoyed our day trip to Boston and multiple trips to Treehouse Brewery. Gwen's communication was awesome...such a terrific host! Hoping to stay again.

We had such a peaceful and relaxing stay! The setting was incredibly serene, and we felt completely at ease the entire time. All of the amenities, especially the boats and kayaks, were very accessible, and we used them throughout our stay — it really made the experience special. We also loved spending cozy nights around the campfire, which added such a warm and memorable touch. There was so much for the kids to do, and they had a fantastic time as well! The host was so kind and welcoming, and communication was very easy from start to finish. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and it made for a truly wonderful getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, fun, and family-friendly escape!

Such a beautiful place to stay! Alexander’s Lake is gorgeous and this lovely cottage sits right on the water allowing you to take the kayaks out to explore the lake. I even got lucky while fishing from the dock and the kayak! Great views in the morning and evening. Very quiet neighborhood. Will definitely be looking to stay again!

This house was even better than the pictures! It had absolutely everything you would need for a perfect staycation, and with a private beach where the sun sets right across the water, it truly is a little slice of heaven! There was so much to do with even more than expected, like the foosball coffee table which was a big hit or the arcade machine which had over 1000 games! A ton of fun surprises, we even got lost looking at all the artwork and decorations! The perfect day of tanning ending with a fire on the beach for dinner and smores, then to the inside to play vinyls and games the rest of the night. A dream house and the perfect place for great memories, I wish I never had to leave! And with great hosts that are very responsive you will never have a problem, even letting us add a last minute late checkout! Will definitely be back again soon felt very at home!

Beautiful home in peaceful area. We were just one couple but another couple could have easily joined us. Two full bathrooms and bedrooms with exterior clothes hanging racks with hangers. Bathrooms well stocked. Super comfy bed and towels. Squeaky clean home all around. Kitchen was well stocked with all we needed to cook at home meals. Loved sitting in living room with the windows looking out at nature. Great rear deck and enclosed rear room to enjoy the deck without bugs. Will definitely request to stay here again when we are in the area!

What an amazing stay! The place had great games and the porch was such a treat. The view from the fire pit was so relaxing and we enjoyed toasting smores while overlooking the lake. We ended up taking the folding chairs and playing catch by the lake, which was only a short walk away. Robert was responsive when we asked where to get firewood. We also enjoyed the Sturbridge coffee house and Maine Lobster (we liked it so much, we went twice)! We ended up going to the farmers market and flea market, which were great finds. Overall, a great stay with the kitchen utensils, bathroom necessities that you’d need. Close by the lake and a great neighborhood!

Sabrina's place was beautiful inside and out. The practically 180 degree view of Spy Pond is stunning and we enjoyed watching all of the natural beauty in this perfect little cottage. The space was spotless and thoughtfully decorated with just enough decor to give tons of character but still feeling uncluttered.
