Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Yarmouth

Such a lovely, cozy spot! We stayed for two nights with toddlers and our dog and everyone was very happy there.

the perfect cabin nestled in the woods in a quaint town! We spent the week in Emily’s peaceful cabin and it was the perfect Maine getaway. The pond is a highlight! I loved getting to stay in this lovely cabin.

What a beautiful spot for a lovely weekend with friends. We enjoyed the contrast of exploring Portland, with the 15 min. escape back to this peaceful and beautiful home. This spot has everything you need, is comfortable for a group, and allows you to soak up the natural surroundings and space without being too much of a car ride away from the amazing city that is Portland. Would definitely stay again or even move in if I could :)

I can’t say enough about what a nicely appointed home in a beautiful setting this is. I came for peace and tranquility and it did not disappoint. I haven’t had such good sleep in over 2 years. Highly recommend and plan to return next year! Thank you all so much for sharing your lovely home.

Anne and Gunnar were great to rent from! Large space with easy access to Freeport and Portland.

This is such a beautiful space! Very cozy and tucked away in a residential area. The home felt safe and was very close to downtown Freeport, where there are great options for food/beverage and shopping.

We came to Portland to stay for the week, this Airbnb was perfect! Great location! Loved all the amenities! And the place itself was soo cute! We took full use of the hot tub! And also the grill, it was great and easy to use! The bedrooms and space for our dog was amazing! Our pup loved his stay too! (The neighbors dogs are very annoying and barked everytime we were out- but nothing the host has control over!!) The host was so responsive, when we got there I accidentally mistaken the heater for the AC! She got back to me in seconds on what’s what! Was never bothered, and check in and check out was seamless! Thank you for an amazing stay and hospitality for our first trip to Maine! 10/10 recommend! I would definitely come back!

This is a classic 19th century New England home, beautifully restored, in the picturesque village of Yarmouth. Scott responded quickly when we called about an issue. The wood stove is a delight to have in the winter. Beds are comfy. We had a nice stay over the holidays.

We absolutely loved our stay. This was our first time in Portland and coming back to this unit after a full day of activities felt like we were right at home. Lucie has truly made this unit so warm and inviting with great attention to detail. The location itself is also great, not too far from the city to drive but not too close either. Thanks again!

Arian’s house is so lovely. It’s cozy, modern and very clean. The house is in an excellent location close to restaurants and walking paths. Arian was responsive and helpful. We highly recommend his place if you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Portland

Great stay! Location is perfect for everything we wanted to do, be by the water, stay right next to downtown, and a short walk from our tour with Eco Adventures. Furniture was very comfortable and everything was clean. Great restaurants in the area. Would return back!

A lovely place to stay in Portland’s East End. Great location in a very quiet and walkable neighborhood. (I happily did not need a car during my visit.) The apartment is great, with a comfy bed, smart TV and a nice little patio too. And you’re just steps from the Eastern Promenade park, which is one of Portland’s best amenities imo and leads to a beach, waterfront trail, dock w/ kayak rentals, etc. Jennifer was a very kind host; thank you!

Amelia was fantastic - even before I review the location, the stay, etc, I have to say how professional and kind Amelia was as a host. I stayed here for the long weekend as I was running the Old Port Half Marathon and it made everything feel right at home. I loved the area, everything was walkable in a safe and quiet neighborhood. The apartment itself was unique and quirky but I loved the character it had. I would 100% come back for another stay.

Anne’s place is wonderful! Peaceful with views of Casco Bay. I loved watching the boats from the apartment. Luxury bedding and furniture! Anne is super helpful and responsive! Amazing hosts and apartment!

Hermosa, amplia y luminosa casa, con todo lo necesario para estar cómodos y recorrer Portland. En un momento tuvimos un problema con la alarma de incendios y Allyson no sólo contestó en minutos, sino que también nos dijo cómo solucionar el problema y nos dejó baterías extra para que no se repitiera. No duden en quedarse en lo de Allyson, no solo es el alojamiento ideal para una familia, sino que Allyson fue la mejor anfitriona. Muchas gracias!

We had a great time! The place was very clean, nicely maintained, and in a perfect location—just a short drive to local coffee shops and great restaurants. The surrounding nature was absolutely beautiful and made the whole trip feel relaxing and refreshing. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay if you want to be close to downtown but with a larger, comfortable space. The place is exactly as described, exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated. No dollar store products here! The ground coffee and half and half really made it feel like we were staying at a friend’s home.

Loved my stay! Jason and Steve were great hosts, and super responsive. it was great getting to bring our dog too! I would stay here again.

This cute little cottage was perfect for my stay in Old Orchard Beach. My stay was in cold January but the cottage was warm and cozy. The highlight was being steps from the beach and being able to roll out of bed and catch the sunrise each morning.

The Baxter Suite was perfect for our weekend stay with 4 people. Thomas was a great host- very responsive and accommodating. The apartment is beautiful and very clean. The bathroom is gorgeous and beds were so comfy. One note is that the only mirror is in the bathroom and there is no full length mirror (not a huge issue but a small struggle with 4 women trying to get ready at the same time lol). The free parking spot was very nice to have but there was also plenty of street parking available. Overall Thomas’s place had everything we needed and we would stay here again!
