Waterfront holiday rentals in Yucatán Peninsula

We booked Mami’s condo for a June girls trip and it was perfect for us! We used Resort Pass to buy day passes to a few all inclusives in the area. Having a clean condo with a beautiful view, a gym, a rooftop bar/pool in a gated community was such a nice alternative to being stuck at a super busy all inclusive for a week. The condo was such a nice, quiet space to land after a busy day at the beach or sitting poolside at a resort. We checked out the cenotes, Secrets at Isla Muljeres (this is a must do,) got massages and facials at the Waldorf Astoria, did some shopping and had an awesome time exploring good restaurants. Our only gripe was the front gate insists you keep a wrist band on your wrist the entire week and would sass us when we just attached them to our wallets. I understand security is important but wearing a plastic wristband for a week that you cant remove felt unnecessary. No fault of Mami’s, she is a perfect host and very communicative/helpful/kind! Book it!

Gaby’s place was great. The amenities were outstanding, the staff was nice, and Gaby was extremely responsive to all my questions. The place is about a 5-7 minute walk from the private beach which is breathtaking. La Amada has its own reserved spot on the beach which is great for swimming and lounging. The rooftop pool was one of my favorite spots to sit and swim. I would definitely recommend Gaby’s place and stay here again!

This was a beautiful apartment, just like the pictures. We generally stay in Puerto Morelos for one night upon arrival to the area but chose this in lieu of a hotel since we were staying three nights. Kitchen was modern with all appliances needed. The grocery store was nearby for basics. It’s in a great location, close to all of our favorite restaurants. The bed was comfortable and AC worked great. We didn’t use the rooftop pool, however we had cocktails up there every evening and listened to the bands at nearby La Sirena. The view from the bedroom was fantastic! Although it is a short block away from the beach, there are no buildings impeding the view so it definitely felt like beachfront. I’d say this is the best unit in the complex. For those worried about sargassum, there is currently a barrier around this area, extending north and south quite a ways and it was never a problem wherever we enjoyed the beach along that stretch. We would stay here again!

If we ever decide to come back to visit Belize, this will be our choice to stay. The comfy cabin Is at the very end of the island. It was peaceful and being able to sit out on the dock every morning watching the local fisherman go by and as well as sunsets it’s the perfect place to get away and relax. Very close to town by either bicycle or golf cart. We enjoyed our time very much.

A beautiful place on the beach with everything you need to get away from the world and rest. Everything in the house is impeccable and super comfortable. Brett is an excellent host who is always attentive and responds kindly. For breakfast, you can order from Café France and you will have a very rich and abundant breakfast.

Mauricio was quick to respond to all needs and the location of his place was ideal. The building was well maintained and the roof-top was beautiful. I would definitely consider coming back.

We had a pleasant stay

We had a great experience in Babylon Resort thanks to Eva. She was wonderful, she sent us a complete list of things to do and tours to enjoy in San Pedro. Also, she arranged a taxi to pick us up from the Ferry terminal (it was complimentary). When we arrive to the villa, it was cool, fresh, clean and organized. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped, one of my favorite part was the ocean view from the villa, it was so beautiful! The Resort offers private chef service, massages, golf cart rental, tours, and grocery buying. We booked an snorkeling tour trough Eva and they picked us up from the pier at front of the Resort (so convenient). The airport, an store, and several restaurants are close to the Villa. We enjoyed so much our stay in Babylon Resort that we highly recommend to stay there.

I definitely come back, I loved the house, very quiet area, it has everything you need.

My family and I had an amazing stay at Karla’s place! The location was great - not too far from airport, the town has lots of great and cheap local restaurants, area is beautiful, easy to do day trips to Chichen Itza, Uxmal, cenotes, etc! The house itself is gorgeous, we loved the pool and the location to the beach. There are so many bathrooms, including outdoor an bathroom and shower, so cleanup after the beach was extremely convenient! We loved seeing the flamingos fly over us on the beach! It was nice to know that the housekeeper Raul was nearby in case we needed anything to had questions. Our stay was 10000/10, we would love to come back again!

Beautiful, private home right on the beach! Walkable to downtown, convenience store, restaurants, etc. The ocean was perfect for swimming and the sandy bottom goes out far! Our pool was also very refreshing. Beach bags and pool towels were provided. The bedrooms are all very nice and large, all with their own well stocked bathrooms. All rooms in this home have great views of the ocean! The kitchen is also well stocked, with plenty of seating and open to the family room. We had several flight problems causing us to arrive a day late. Rene was so kind and offered to have complimentary yummy pizzas delivered to us! Both Rene and Sonia were very helpful with organizing transportation for us, and recommending places to go during our stay. I would highly recommend staying in this amazing home! Thank you again Rene and Sonia for your generosity, kindness, and making us want to come back and stay in your beautiful home!

excellent place to spend a quiet vacation and with a great beach

Sylvia's home was just perfect for our sisters getaway. 3br/ 3bath and a great living area to gather. The decks overlooking the ocean were perfect for morning coffee and cocktails by pool (overlooking the ocean) were splendid. Local concierges and housekeepers Maribel and Jose couldn't be more responsive and helpful. It was a wonderful stay.

We were warmly welcomed and attended to at all times. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The view was exceptional at all times, and the beach was extraordinary. The area is very safe and peaceful. There’s a bus stop close to the house, with buses passing by frequently—public transportation is excellent. Also nearby is the dock that can take you to Isla Mujeres, another beautiful beach. There are also small markets and places to eat close to the house. I highly recommend this home and definitely plan to return.

Casa iguana is absolutely stunning. Everything about this place is perfect. It is super private and feels safe and secluded. The view of the brilliant blue water from the dining table is to die for. Check in with the lockbox was super easy, Maria’s instructions that she sent in advance made finding the house a breeze, everything was spotless, the kitchen has everything you could ever need, the kamado style charcoal grill worked flawlessly, the outdoor lights add the perfect ambiance, all the sun shades are perfectly positioned. We walked on the beach staring at the crystal blue water for hours and hardly saw another person. Maria is a lovely host and offered us alternative accommodation because the seaweed arrived earlier than usual this year. (Not something that bothers us at all) We had perfect weather, a lovely breeze, and never saw a mosquito the whole time (benefit of visiting in the dry season!). I cannot recommend this place enough if you want solitude in a stunning setting!

We had a great time, the place was awesome. Aside from the seaweed that is uncontrollable it was amazing snorkeling out in the bay. We are actually looking to invest in a place similar to this and this gave us a very good appreciation for the location. Definitely on the top of our list..

The marketing pictures seemed a little better than the actual place, and there was no drinking water or paper towels provided, and limited toilet paper products in the unit-not even extra trash bags—all of which would have been appreciated for the price we paid, but overall we would come back: beds were comfortable, ac kept it cool, clean, and barefoot distance to a beautiful beach. It helped that there was an on-site store that has nice food and small items you’ll want and need. You can eat right there, outside the store, and see the beautiful surf. Mau was very responsive and helpful every step of the way. Highly recommend!

What can I say? Everything perfect! Everything was as promised in the text and in the pictures. In addition, the safe and beautiful surroundings of Puerto Aventuras. Friendly people from different countries everywhere, delicious food in many restaurants, we loved it. As a host, Andres was perfect, all our questions were answered quickly. So we enjoyed our relaxing holiday in Mexico! We'll be back.

Location location and comfortable!

Great place, spotless clean. I used many airbnb, in the past, this was definitely the cleanest i have ever seen. Extremely responsive host, always making sure that i have what i need. The location is in the hotel area. I personally got around just fine using the bus, $1 ride, and it stops almost in front of the condo. I will definitely come back.

Great apartment in a nice condo complex. It’s worth noting that if you’re after beach time to note that Playa del Carmen and that coast gets a lot of seaweed from May thru August apparently, so be prepared for the smell and not using the sea much. The apartment is wonderful, well lit, very spacious and well equipped. The host is very responsive. The pool setup is great, added bonus having same shade over the pool. Staff at the complex are fantastic. Overall we enjoyed our stay here

We’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnbs, and this one was the best one yet—such a high value for a low price. Camille and Edir were phenomenal hosts; Edir especially met us in person a few times and was so amazing and gave above-and-beyond service. The apartment itself is incredibly beautiful, exactly as shown in the photos, but feels even more spacious than the photos. I was so impressed with the laundry service, daily housekeeping and beautiful pool right on the beach. This stay was an enormous value!!! Thank you Edir and Camille!!

Jim’s place was absolutely amazing! The snorkeling right off the ladder was incredible. The water was crystal clear and a blast to swim in. We had a great jumping off the wall into the deep clear blue water! We felt right at home as the place has EVERYTHING you need to relax, cook and enjoy a great vacation!
