Monthly Rentals in Zimatlán de Álvarez

The check-in was smooth and well organized via Whats App messaging. The loft/townhouse was modern, clean, and came with a well stocked welcome package of goodies :-) As noted in the amenities, there's no AC. The windows and sliding door provide ample airflow. However, the sliding door does not have a screen, which could be an issue during the bug season. It's around a 10-minute walk to the main part of San Bartolo Coyotepec, but there's a really nice restaurant and convenience store within 2 minutes.

What a treat to stay at Karmen's! Great views, friendly neighbors, lots of amazing birds right outside your doorstep, in walking distance to the archeological site Monte Alban, small stores to get food, and the artist town of Arrazola where they make alebrijes. Also, the internet was reliable enough that I could work from home (using video calls)! The spot is about a half hour outside of the city by mototaxi, so the air is cleaner and it's more peaceful than you'll find elsewhere. Karmen has planted hundreds of native trees and plants on the land so there are lots of pollinators, gorgeous butterflies, flowers, and a couple of very sweet dogs. Karmen was a great host- proactive, responsive, and kind. She generously invited me to many incredible events locally and in the city. She is very well connected in the artist and healing communities. What a great deal! Hope to be back soon.

Mrs. Leonor and her husband are excellent hosts, from the beginning they contacted us and were always attentive. The arrival time was very flexible, the house is very comfortable, beautiful and spacious, the mattresses are super comfortable. If we return, it will undoubtedly be our first choice.
