The Copper Hide is a unique escape at Arth Valley Retreat on the west coast of Wales. This old dairy milking parlour was converted into accommodation some years ago but has recently (2024) benefited from a complete makeover. With a roll top bath, mezzanine bed with large star gazing window and Woodburning stove. During your stay you’ll be free to roam our piece of the valley that flows down to a river with waterfalls. Only a few minutes from the sea. Come and enjoy this romantic spot in nature.

Ffyllon Fawr is a south facing farmhouse built in approx 1890 and has been sympathetically renovated and modernised recently. The farmhouse is in an elevated position and overlooks the farmyard and the beautiful open countryside. To one side is a level patio area with a picnic table and bench leading onto a sloping lawn area. At present the land is grazed by sheep and wildlife is also in abundance, badgers, rabbits, wild birds to include red kites, buzzards, ducks and wild geese.

Dawn’s pretty cottage and garden was in a peaceful location. We enjoyed walking the easy coastal path to Aberaeron, and visited a nearby National Trust property Llanerchaeron which is well worth a visit for its house and garden. The neighbouring town of Aberaeron is pictured perfect. We hope to return to Dawn’s cottage as we had a very pleasant stay here. The house is decorated and furnished beautifully .

We had such a lovely stay at Salthouse. The apartment had everything we needed, and was gorgeous. Also surprisingly bigger than in the photos. Alex gave us loads of recommendations for the area and check in was really smooth and easy. The area is great, went to Y Seler for dinner which was wonderful and super accommodating with young children. Highly recommend a dolphin boat trip in New Quay and the steam train to Devil’s Bridge. Really lovely beaches around too and great for rock pooling. Thanks Alex!

Pretty Pet friendly cottage in river valley.

Fronlefrith is a gem! In a lovely setting-private and peaceful-a wooded valley with the gentle sound of the river nearby. The garden areas are great for relaxing - and bird spotting, too. The house is clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. We had a very comfortable stay and the quirky interior is great! Ed was a super host - friendly and responsive. There is so much to see and do in the area - both on the coast and inland - with many and varied places for eating out. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautiful part of Wales - thank you, Ed and Gill!

We were a family of 6 staying at frondeg and couldn't fault the place, house was well equipped and nicely set out, kids really enjoyed playing on the balcony and gardens while us adults took in the incredible views of Aberaeron, definitely be booking again.

We were looking for a short break in Aberaeron one of our favourite destinations. Harbour View proved ideal and certainly lived up to its name. The property was easily accessed and had everything you would need for a short stay. Anna had sent through clear instructions with a range of helpful information including restaurants cafes shops and services etc in the area. The changeable weather didn't detract, Aberaeron even in full downpour is spectacular and provided an opportunity to explore the beautiful coastline.
