By car attractions are easily accessible - Brecon Beacons, Pen y Fan, Zip World, Rock UK Climbing Centre, Bike Park Wales. Beautiful mountains, waterfalls, and country walks. Blue Flag Beaches a little further.

Our home is perfectly located to explore from the Gower to the Brecon Beacons and beyond. Positioned in a quiet Close and a short stroll from the Waterfalls Walks. Bike Park Wales, Afan Forest Park and Margam Park are close for dedicated MTB Trails and there are a wealth of off-piste options. Nearby Zip World South offers you the chance to fly through the air on the fastest seated zip line. Our utility room can be used for running bike repairs or comfortably storing SUP/Surf boards upto 2.5m.

This charming, comfortable miner’s cottage is full of character, and perfectly located close to local amenities. It’s just a 10 minute walk to Aberdare town centre and train station, with excellent connections for exploring South Wales. Zip World, Pontneddfechan waterfall and Bike Park Wales are only a 10 minute drive, and the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park and Pen Y Fan is only a 30 minute drive. The property is an ideal base to explore and enjoy everything the region has to offer.

This recently renovated 3 bedroom house within 2 minutes walk to Aberdare town centre where you’ll find plenty of restaurants, bars and shops - 15 minutes walk to Dare Valley country park, and 10 minutes walk to Aberdare train station. Just 15 minutes by car to Zip World, Pontneddfechan Waterfalls and Bike Park Wales. The stunning Brecon Beacons National Park and Pen -Y-Fan is around a 30 minute car journey making it a perfect place for families or group trips to explore and enjoy the region.

Lewys Tai Bach
20mins to Brecon Beacons, short journeys to the Zip world Tower, Bike Park Wales Merthyr and Aberdare downhill centre just a stone throw away. This memorable place is anything but ordinary. With kitchen living downstairs and the upstairs having more of a hotel set up with 2 double beds a pull out bed settee and a single bed with shower suite. It’s possible to sleep 3 couples and another. Ideally better to leave the settee as a settee for comfortable living and relaxing both upstairs and down.

Shepherd's Hut in Brecon Beacons
Escape to the Bannau Brychieniog / Brecon Beacons National Park and stay in our cosy shepherd's hut. The 'Bee Hive' hut is close to the village of Penderyn and next to Beili Helyg Farm. The hut has a double bed, kitchen & dining area with folding table, fridge & ice box, combi microwave oven, double induction hob and Belfast sink. There is a shower room with flushing toilet. Below the master bed is an alcove with a futon for a child to sleep comfortably. Decking, fire pit, BBQ, WiFi & TV.

With a truly panoramic view out over the Brecon Beacons mountain range the accommodation is central for the whole South Wales region and an ideal base for walking,cycling,golf and mountain climbing .The Gower is an easy drive as is Brecon ,Cardiff and the Bay.There are many local attractions including the waterfalls at Pontneddfechan,Big pit ,Dan yr Ogof caves,Caerphilly Castle, Castell Coch and Bike Parc Wales to name just a few.

Our cosy cottage on the edge of Blaengarw village, in a valley surrounded by mountains, and small lakes. Amazing walking country on the doorstep with dramatic views, and we are dog-friendly (but sorry, no cats). Real fire, Netflix, DVDs & books for huddled nights in. Great cycling with riverside rides and mountain trails. Shop, pub & takeaway in the village. Designer outlet, Odeon cinema, nature reserves and castles all a short drive. And we live round the corner for any advice or help!
