We absolutely loved our stay. Lovely comfy beds and a really homely feel about the cottage. We seen a red squirrel in the garden and lots of stags just outside crossing the river. We had dinner at the Fife Arms just along thr road and had a lovely walk too. Lovely friendly host too. Thanks Team Barbarella Beets

Lovely find. The Smoke House is like stepping into a warm hug. We all loved the quirkiness of it. The fabulous social spaces. Really enjoyed our stay. So generously stocked with essentials.

Linda's place was awesome! The photos don't do it justice as the rooms are actually huge! the house is well furnished with lovely decor and everything you need for a great stay. Linda is highly proactive with recommendations and instructions and with a great pub 2 mins walk, what's not to like! defined recommended and would stay again!

Our third visit and it won’t be our last. We love the location and the cottage is so cosy. It’s quickly become our favourite getaway and this was a January holiday rather than a summer one and it’s just as magical!

A wonderful little house that allowed us to relax after our explorations of Elgin and the surrounding area. We would have liked to stay longer! I highly recommend it!

Almost everything exceeded expectations, lovely clean cottage, ideal for our 4 day stay. Comfortable bed, chairs , really good kitchen. Street parking was tight, but we had had that explained before arrival. Only down feature, was the shower, which was too small for us to comfortably access and use.

We loved our stay! Beautiful caravan with stunning views! The caravan was like new so clean! The host has been fantastic with communication & was very kind & helpful letting us know if we could get in any earlier too. We would love to come back it was a lovely treat!

I really love this cosy, private and beautiful cottage. I have stayed here a few times now for work and pleasure and it’s an ideal spot for both. I get such good nights’ sleep and the bird song is delightful. Everywhere is so green! The cottage itself has everything you need in it and it’s warm and cosy too. It’s a unique setting with a very special extra, where you can swim in their private pool if you wish. Thank you again for being really friendly and accommodating hosts. I’ll be back ! Or rather we will be- Matilda and Brown dog 😊🐾

We stayed at James and Jessica’s bothy for 4 nights. Wished we could have booked a (much) longer stay. Everything so perfect, beautiful and thoughtful decorated and also the attentive small gifts upon arrival. Drinks, cookies, sweeties (all local/Scottish). Not to forget the stunning surroundings/nature and the friendly owners of this little gem. 6 stars!

Laura’s place was excellent, very clean and lots of local information of anything you could possibly want to do whilst staying there I’d definitely recommend staying here

The property was absolutely fantastic our team travelled up from Leeds to work in the area the house was perfect and exactly as described, the locals were really friendly and the area was lovely I would definitely stay at this property again.

The Bothy is a great place from which to explore the local area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would recommend.

A wonderfully decorated cottage with a stunning view! Lovely details in every room, beautiful colourscheme, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. We could have sat and watched the sea from the porch all day. Highly recommended! If possible would give it 7 stars!

Beautiful view over the harbour from the window seat in the lounge! Saw a group of at least 5 dolphins in the bay on 2 occasions! From the window! Comfortable bed. Clean and well equipped kitchen. Carefully chosen decor. Short walk to sandy beach at Inverboyndie. Lovely coastline to explore.

We never wanted to leave! Our hosts were lovely, they gave us so many local tips and things to do. They really made our stay magical. Our children fell in love with the horses, one of whom will put his head through the bedroom window if you open it for him! Plus the adorable dogs, sweet cows across the road, and chickens who gave us fresh eggs! One of the best tips was to go to Fyvie Castle which was incredible. Don’t miss it. Incredibly beautiful and fabulous ghost stories. A perfect place to reconnect with nature and humanity.

We had a lovely stay at Peter's place. a truly dog friendly cottage in the most peaceful location! Peter was very friendly and helpful and we loved meeting Jack the dog. The private garden space was great for our collie and for us. The cottage is cosy and comfy and a perfect base for exploring the area.
