Nestled away on .5 acre of beautifully landscaped oasis, this home is located in the unique Sterling Grove Historic District and is steps away from Mouton Plantation, Givens Townhouse, and John Nickerson House. Enjoy the huge front porch overlooking 100+ year old oak trees, full covered patio complete with outdoor kitchen, and fire pit tucked away under the stars.

Our cozy cabin sits in the heart of Cajun country, about 30 minutes outside of Lafayette. It's a great place to spend time relaxing in the quiet serenity of South Louisiana, or enjoy spending a night or more traveling through, it is located just 8 miles north of Interstate 10. We do not allow pets. The Cabin is all wood inside and has the great cabin smell the minute you open the door. It was built in 2014 by Amish builders in Pennsylvania and transported down by a truck.

Nearby cities include Sunset, Grand Coteau, Scott, and Breaux Bridge. All are great stops for antiquing, swamp tours, or live music! We have an extensive list of recommendations for food, fun, sights and sounds. Our home is well equipped for long term stays while on business. recently remodeled with new appliances.

Cajun Cottage located on the Bayou Teche in Downtown New Iberia's Historic Main St. The property is lined with old Oak and Cypress trees with a beautiful view of the bayou. Walking distance from restaurants, bars, and shopping. 8 miles from Avery Island. Light breakfast items, coffee, milk, and juice provided. The cottage is a private space with kitchenette, living area, separate bedroom, and screened in patio. Very private and peaceful setting.

The huge live oaks with their draped Spanish moss surround the home creating a peaceful cocoon of privacy and relaxation. There’s a queen bed and claw foot tub downstairs, two full beds and bathroom upstairs.
