James really went above and beyond for us, as we were scheduled to fly out, the place booked was not available to us as the person staying there could not go back home to Florida due to the storms. This sent me into a spiral as we were coming in on Parents weekend along with 9,400+ others and I feared we had nowhere to stay or even finding a place to stay. James went out of his way to get 2 of his non furnished studios furnished and ready in the mere hours of our traveling to make sure we had a place to stay once we arrived! He really went out of his way to make things happen and I could not be more appreciative of him. My daughter is a freshman and I would say we will be using James again in the future!

We didnt get in until well after midnight, had a little trouble finding the place. Gps sent me a block or so away. She answered even tho it was so late and helped me find the place. We didnt get to enjoy the lake because we left early for our travels home, but we will definitely be back when we can enjoy the beautiful place! Beds were like sleeping on clouds. So we got some amazing well needed rest!

This is a unique experience that you can't miss out on. If you ever wanted to stay in a beautiful victorian home, this is definitely it. The antiques are incredible, lots of rare and beautiful pieces matched together perfectly. The porch with the oak trees and Spanish moss is dreamy. The owner is very friendly and very knowledgable about the house. Side note: DO light a candle and read a book by candlelight, its a great experience

Love the place! Great camp, used it for a place to rest for duck season. Boat launch in camp ground, the shop has everything you need! Everyone in the camp ground was super friendly! Really ensure our weekend there!

Wife and I recently stayed here for 3 nights. This place was just what we were looking for after staying 5 nights in New Orleans. It’s a very peaceful location. You get the feel of how the rest of Louisiana is outside of New Orleans. It’s a rustic fishing cabin just like the pics show but the place is clean and had whatever we needed to cook our breakfast(we ate out for dinners). One day we did plantation tours from here and the next day we did the swamp tour(highly recommended). The swamp tour is hosted by Allen(owner) and well worth it. He had us catching catfish out of the lake and later fried it up for us and made us a complete dinner! The owners live across the road and are very accessible and are such nice people! My one complaint is that the decking around the cabin is in pretty rough shape but the pictures do show this. From the decking we saw bald eagles, gators in the water, a snake, and lots of fish jumping out of the water!

This home worked well for our family’s stay during the baptism weekend of our newest family member. Thank you! The double oven allows for full meals to be prepared for large families/groups. TV in kitchen was beneficial to enable continued viewing of game/program while preparing meals. Light switch labels helped quite a bit. The pool with two waterfall features was soothing, fun, relaxing, and enjoyable. Sitting around the gas fire pit outside gave us an opportunity to discuss the events of the day and make plans for the following day. The assortment of bed arrangements and shower setups fit out family’s needs. When we had a slight mishap, the provided first aid kit came in handy. The spacious kitchen allowed for meal prep, snacking, family style meals, and just gathering of our family; just like at home. The large area rug in the living room provided a soft area to setup a small infant play area. Thank you for making our stay feel just like home for all of us.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Fat Cat. The water views are expansive. Lots of different seating areas to spread out both inside and out. The kayaks, life vests, and the floating pad were great to have, and the kids loved using them and floating in the water. We did not have much success fishing.. but that's how fishing goes. The beds were all very comfortable, the linens clean, and lots of pillow options.

My crew was doing a job in town and this place worked out great for us. The location was close enough to be to and from the job site quickly but also secluded enough that it was peaceful and quiet. The hosts were responsive and very helpful from us arriving late at and night and leaving a little early. This will be my first choice of houses to stay at next time we come back.

Our stay in Breaux Bridge (the crawfish capital of the world, by the way - get in quick, the season is nearly over) was made even better by this charming Airbnb. Matthew kindly let us check in early, which was perfect as we were just driving in from New Orleans. The house is nestled in peaceful surrounds, with towering trees, curious squirrels and a storybook pond full of fish and cute turtles. The bed was firm and super comfortable, and we appreciated the complimentary bottled water and thoughtful local tips. Best of all, Café Sydnie Mae’s (a must-visit) is just a short walk away. Highly recommend for a restful, small-town escape!

He was very welcoming and check in was easy. Very beautiful place right on the water. It was clean and well decorated. Would definitely recommend staying here.
