This unique place has a style all its own that has emerged over the five years that we have been rebuilding the barn. High ceilings and plenty of space both inside and out. Everything is new and fresh. Perfect place for rest and recreation. It includes bicycles, kayaks and SUPs (2 of each) and the proximity to sports and outdoor life is good. FredrikLars farm at Nordmarksbergs Mansion

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

A unique chance to live in a beautiful Schoolhouse from the 1880s, located in Värmland. The house is located on a farm and we live next to the Schoolhouse but with a distance that makes it feel private for both. The Schoolhouse has its own private garden and a big porch with a lake view. We arrange different packages of hiking, that includes breakfast, lunch or dinner in an outside setting. Freshly renovated guest cabin on our idyllic property overlooking lake Gapern. Quiet and peaceful, surrounded by nature. The insulated cabin has a small wood stove and electric heater, mini fridge, tea/coffee station, and its own deck facing the morning sun — relax and listen to the birds. Double bed and workspace. Extra mattresses can be borrowed. Blackout blinds for privacy and deep sleep. Access the shared bathroom via your own back door entrance to the main house.

There are two toilets (one fully tiled with shower). From the living room you reach a lovely terrace where you can enjoy the sunset and view of the river. Morning coffee can be taken on the small patio with morning sun. The house is intended for two adult guests.

It’s a magical way to experience Sweden’s wild, romantic charm.

The Sculptured House is built with natural, recycled and local materials, in harmony with its surrounding nature. This calm retreat offers an inspirational experience for those who look for a stress-free environment. It has a cozy sleeping loft with nice views and you have your own dry toilet.
