This unique place has a style all its own that has emerged over the five years that we have been rebuilding the barn. High ceilings and plenty of space both inside and out. FredrikLars farm at Nordmarksbergs Mansion

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

Ängsbacka Course & Festival Center is 7.8 km (8 minutes by car) from the cabin. Molkom town center is 8.5 km (10 minutes by car) from the cabin. 🚘 If you want to travel by public transport you have a lovely 2 km walk to the bus stop, Norum. You can choose between bus 300, 400 and 410. 🚍

The Sculptured House is built with natural, recycled and local materials, in harmony with its surrounding nature. This calm retreat offers an inspirational experience for those who look for a stress-free environment. It has a cozy sleeping loft with nice views and you have your own dry toilet. During the cold season there is usually the possibility of winter swimming directly from your own jetty, ice fishing and ice skating

The cottage is situated in a undisturbed area with the most amazing view over the lake Fryken. About 300 metres from the beach and 2 km from restaurants, groceries store, railway station and gas station. In the cabin you'll find a cosy stove, shower and a small kitchen. I think you're really gonna enjoy just hanging out and relax on the farmyard.
