Captain's House | Monte Grosso, Elba

The Casa del Capitano is located on the top of Monte Grosso in the National park of the tuscan archipelago. The location is unique on the island and from here you have a fantastic view of the city of Portoferraio, Piombino, Corsica, Capraia and Gorgona. The house was restored during a project lasting several years, in close collaboration with the National Park and was designed to be self-sufficient and ecological. Here you use purely the energy of the sun, without having to renounce luxury.

Io, la mia famiglia e il nostro pastore svizzero (libero nella proprietà) abitiamo al piano superiore e saremo felici di accogliervi a casa nostra.

The apartment located in Portoferraio is in a quiet residential area located in a strategic position that is about 400 meters from the historic center, about 450 meters from the beach of Ghiaie and about 200 meters from the port of Portoferraio. It is easily accessible on foot from the ferry landing. There are free parking lots nearby. The apartment is spacious and bright with sea views, and has 2 bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, 2 balconies, and a bathroom.

The house is accessed from an external staircase. The outdoor pergola is furnished with a table and chairs/deckchairs The beach, about 250 meters away, can be reached on foot in a few minutes. The house has a private garden, with lawn, of about 200 square meters.
