Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Acropolis

Kleio's hospitality and graciousness as a host was truly the highlight of staying at her property. She clearly went above and beyond our expectations to make us feel welcome and taken care of, especially after a long overseas flight or after a long day of hiking around Athens or nearby cities. She had ample supplies a weary traveler might need or forgotten on hand. We are super grateful for the attention to detail Kleio put into thinking about her guests. The location was ideal for launching off on daily adventures and delightful to come back to after exploring all day and into the night. Simply a perfect location and property beautifully appointed and maintained. Hands down one of the best AirBnB stays I have had. Don't hesitate in selecting this place. Book ASAP.....

Giannis was the best host! Friendly, communicative and helpful, he provided lots of information and tips about the area and Athens. His love for the city and his home was really apparent. The house is quiet, clean and full of art and nice touches, he is obviously creative and it was refreshing to stay in a place with real character! The best thing was the view from the terraces, with the acropolis and city laid before you. Watching the sunset and the lights come on at night was a highlight of our trip! We loved the village feel of the location, walkable to the centre or an inexpensive taxi ride home up the hill. Thank you Giannis, you’re great :)

Great host excellent communication very clean apartment. Just next door to lovely coffee shop and close to great restaurants.

Katerina’s place was very close to the park area near the acropolis as well as a few cafes slightly out of the crowded part of town. She was very responsive and was even able to let us check in early, which was a huge help. The slight problem with Wi-fi was far outweighed by her customer service. I would certainly stay with her again!

The ceilings, natural light, beautiful craftsmanship of the wood, REAL ART! We have travelled extensively and enjoyed some beautiful Airbnb experiences. Christos space has moved to #1 on our list. My doctor, his parents were born in Greece, advised I should limit our time in Athens to 2 or 3 days. We are so glad we didn’t. Christos created a book, which I was hoping to buy but he gave us, that is BRILLIANT. The book is a pictorial and informational guide to Athens and Greece. Which he told me he could reproduce quite easily. If you stay at his space you will understand my surprise. Everything you need is a few minutes walk away. We came to Greece because of the history and the islands. We fell in love with Greece, the kindness of its people and generosity of spirit. Christos and his place may be the best of it.

We had a wonderful stay! Too short! Absolutely loved the location! Beautifully decorated and cozy inside and out! Loved the outside patio! As others have said, it is a spiral staircase up to bedroom. A fantastic location!! Great restaurants, easy to walk everywhere! Book it!

Steven was an incredible host and was so patient with us during checkout as we were running late getting back to the house. Truly an incredible stay and would 1000% come back again

We stayed June 12-14. There were 3 of us traveling. We had a late check-in and were accommodated. The unit is amazing, lots of room, and clean. Also, there was many items available for us to use such as an iron, first aid kit, sun screen, and so much more. Walking distance to restaurants and Acropolis. I highly recommend staying here! You will enjoy your stay a great deal.

We were very happy to be back at Spiros’s place again after our holiday to Naxos and Paros. It’s the fifth time we have stayed and it was such a lovely end to our vacation. We loved sitting out on the rooftop looking at the Acropolis, eating out in wonderful restaurants and absorbing the history and culture of Athens. Spiros was so kind and friendly - he even bought us a bottle of wine and chocolates at the end of our stay. I highly recommend Spiros’s place - it’s clean, comfortable and right in the centre of the Plaka. You won’t find a better rooftop terrace in the whole of Athens! Thank you Spiros and we look forward to coming again for our holidays next year.

Central location, close to restaurants and public transport, in a lively neighborhood but still very quiet apartment. Great communication with the host.

This was a clean, nice place in a good location. I agree with previous comments about taking the garbage out. We had to walk the street with all of our luggage and garbage until we found a garbage can.

One of the highlights of my trip to Atheens was the view from the Apartment. Im not exagerating saying it has one of the best Acropolis views

Beautiful view of the Acropolis from the master bedroom. Wrap-around balcony was very nice. Walking distance to Plaka, Acropolis, and more temples and other historical sights than we could keep track of! Everything was very nice and Vasilis was always quick to respond.

This was a wonderful apartment with a great location. The streets below the apartment are very quiet at night, even though they are vibrant during the day. It was an easy walk to the Acropolis Museum and the entry to the Acropolis near there. We enjoyed the restaurants recommended by Magda.

Loved this place! Gorgeous and convenient space, great host suggestions, and perfect location. They even gave us fresh towels after two days. Loved it!

The apartment was great for our stay! It is very modern, the bathroom and the bed are the highlights, very clean and comfortable. We only stayed for one night but it was a great place and Gerasimos was always helpful, e.g. for ordering a taxi for us when we left. Would gladly stay at this place again.

The absolute best location and view in Athens!

We had an excellent day at this home. The host was super good at communicating and giving all the recommendations nearby. Very helpful. She’s very flexible with check-in check account based on the availability. Everything is nearby walkable to all the restaurants and even the acropolis. We had a great stay at this house. Hope to return back.

I can’t recommend Evangelos’ place enough! This was the perfect place for my husband and I on our short 3-day stay in Athens. The location was great, very walkable to many cafes and restaurants. The walk to the Acropolis was uphill so we would get a quick/cheap taxi there, and walk back to the Airbnb (~15 min walk). We felt very safe in the neighborhood, there were always people around. The hot tub was such a great place to relax after long days of walking, and the view of the Parthenon was just lovely - especially at night. Finally, Evangelos was so easy to communicate with and answered all of my questions. He also connected us with a great driver Petros, who picked us up from our cruise port and brought us to the airport. We had a fantastic stay in Athens and everything from check in to check out went very smoothly thanks to Evangelos!

Come for the view, stay for Sokol’s fantastic responsiveness and hospitality. I accidentally locked myself out on the balcony late at night and he was there in 10 minutes with a spare key. They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is great! Everything else is just as described.

We had a wonderful time. Check in instructions were easy but getting used to opening the door was a little tricky at first. Our host was very responsive and helped us with our check in. The apartment was very spacious and private. The neighborhood is fantastic, walkable, and a great place to mix with the locals. We loved our times in Athens and will definitely return!

Magda was very responsive throughout my stay and her place was quite conveniently located to the main attractions! Bonus was the rooftop space which has a direct view of the acropolis!

It is located in a lovely peaceful and safe area that is 10 minutes walk to the Agora, so close by to all the action of Athens. There is a fantastic baker 20 seconds from the apartment and also a great supermarket so everything is close by. The apartment itself is on the 5th floor (top floor). There is a very small lift that we were initially nervous to use but we overcame our fear and ended up using it the whole time. The roof terrace is what makes this flat incredible with stunning view across Athens to the hills beyond and then the other way to the Acropolis which is really impressive.The living space itself is clean and functional and perfect for the two of us. We loved the view so much we had supper on the terrace a couple of nights so we could watch the sun setting. The terrace is solely for the flat. The neighbour has the view I guess towards the sea but it is very separate so each space feels very private. Yoita was excellent at communication from the getgo

This place was incredible! I’m so glad I booked it! Eukaterina was very responsive and kind. She met me at the entrance for check-in and explained everything. It’s a small apartment but perfect! The view is incredible and the balcony outside is so nice. Such a privilege to wake up to this view. The hosts also provided a lot of great local recommendations! I would definitely recommend staying here!
