Katsuo was very responsive and friendly. Whenever we ran into an issue, Katsuo was quick to respond and even showed up in person to help with a specific concern. The Kita-Akabane area is also very peaceful and quiet.

10 out of 10 best Airbnb we have been too while here in Japan for 4 people. We loved the extra amenities. Felt right at home. Would definitely recommend to my family and friends! Convenient location as well. We will definitely come back to this location again.

We enjoyed the convenience of this location very much - it was close to the train station, close to restaurants and convenience stores, and was a quieter area in close walking distance to the busier area of Asakusa. The space of the apartment felt tight to walk around in for our family of four (2 adults and 2 children age 7 and 10), but the description and reviews did mention the narrowness of the apartment. We put out the extra bed on the floor for bedtime and folded it back up during the day to allow space for the table and put some of our luggages underneath the bed, and it worked out. We were thankful for the many amenities provided such as washer, the kitchenette, and the instructions on how to use the items, and felt the space was well used. Keyless entry was also smooth and easy.

Our first trip to Japan and this was our first stay out of 3 places. I would say the location was great, it was close to Ueno station (and park) around 15min walk. and there was another smaller station about 5min walk. There were convenience stores nearby as well. The place itself was a bit small but I think that is just the norm for Tokyo. Still it was comfortable and all the amenities were working great. We ended up doing laundry several times, and even though it was the rainy season the clothes did dry in 1 day. The host was responsive and the instruction for check in and check out were great. Overall a great place to stay.

So close to restaurants and the Meguro River and the shopping is great. Close to the train station so very easy to get around. The place is not spacious but then we were only there to sleep. We really enjoyed the locality. Riki’s communication was excellent.

We really enjoyed our stay with Mary. Walkable! Donki 5 min one way and Daiso the other way. 7-11 one block down. Drugstore on 1st floor of building. Walk to Shinjuku. Tons of restaurants. Easy access to taxi and subway. I would stay again.

The apartment is situated in a very busy area, close to fabulous supermarkets, restaurants and bars but I slept incredibly well as the area is quiet at night. A five minute walk to the train station, fully functional kitchen and laundry facilities in the apartment. Great value.

Kazutomi was a wonderful host who was extremely accommodating to my party. He was responsive to any questions and requests we had and the place was pretty much exactly as described on airbnb. Bed was comfortable and location was within walking distance to the station which could bring you to your desired location! Would recommend to others looking for a more quiet place in Tokyo!

Stayed here with my cousins for 6 nights, decent size apartment in quiet neighborhood. Pros: There are stores and restaurants nearby, we even found a night club. Easy access to Tokyo, the train station is a 5 min walk where you also can catch the bus to Disney and the airport. Space: having 2 bathrooms was a plus! Host responded quickly to any questions or concerns. We had a little issue but the host responded quickly and took care of it and even left us cookies for the inconvenience. Not really a con but should be known, the stairs are very steep like a ladder, takes time to get suitcases up and down. The stairs weren't too much of a problem for my party but could be for someone older or young child. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

The Host was very nice, sehe went about and beyond with the hospitality and even cleaned a few times without having to (of course after asking me when she could do it). The House was Perfect, because I wanted to have an authentic japanese living experience, but also had the option to sleep in the western room if the Futon wasnt for me. Ill definitely consider revisiting when I’m traveling to Japan again

I stayed 3 nights in Tomohito’s apartment with my wife and my daughter. I can confidently share that it was the best airbnb experience we had so far not because of the perfect location, beautiful and large apartment but also the friendly and supportive communication of the hosts. I really felt like we were staying in our apartment. No need to mention that the stairs might be a littlle bit challenging with heavy suitcases but all in all, I can not think of any other place to stay in Tokyo next time after this experience

We stayed as a family for several nights.Partly because it was newly built, everywhere was very clean and I had a pleasant time.Each room had a slightly different atmosphere, and the interior was stylish and relaxing. I was grateful for the baby chair, crib, and toys for my child.I was able to reduce my luggage, and my children were able to play without getting bored, which was a great help to me as a parent.There were also a range of appliances such as a kitchen and washing machine, and I was able to do a little housework smoothly during my stay. It was also nice to have enough space for the whole family to relax.Personally, I was happy that I was able to eat in the living room and put him to bed early at night, without disrupting the rhythm of my life. It was within walking distance of the station, and there were many supermarkets and restaurants nearby, so I had no trouble shopping and eating during my stay.It was easy to access Asakusa and the Skytree, and the balance between sightseeing and daily life was just right. I stayed on a trip with a friend. The location of the hotel is great!It's a 30-second walk from Okubo Station, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby that we wanted to go to! The room was very stylish, there were many shower rooms, and I had a very comfortable stay!I was very excited to have a nice living room like a luxury hotel that was perfect for chatting until the middle of the night! The host, Jun, was very kind and told me a lot of things in easy-to-understand messages, so I had no problems during my stay.I would definitely like to stay here again when I have a sleepover with friends!

We had a pleasant stay in Tokyo in this accommodation located in the Ikebukuro district. The description and photos are very accurate. Everything went well: special mention to the host who is very responsive if you have any questions!

This was our first Airbnb in Japan and it started off the trip well. 5 full size beds in 3 bedrooms was great for privacy. Mattresses are on the firm side. It's in the middle of K-town so lively and exciting, but on Monday night, I could hear people and k-pop playing until 4 am. Luckily I enjoy the music and was so jet-lagged, I slept through most of it. There's a filtered water dispenser, which is very nice for filling reusable bottles for the day and not having to worry about buying from the store. There's a couple hosts and the one who was in charge of communication during the trip was very responsive, even when I messaged at 7 am (sorry!) The dining table was nice to eat quick meals at and a Lawson is right around the corner. The shower was fairly clean, but we did have to use the designated shower slippers and the area right outside the shower lacked clean space to put down our clean clothes or toiletry bags etc. Not a big deal unless you're a germaphobe. Overall great experience!

Our family is importing our cat to Japan, and we needed somewhere pet friendly plus for four people. Makoto-san's place was perfect for our needs. We also loved the very soft, warm blankets which kept us cozy during this winter weather. Everything was comfortable, Makoto-san was very kind and responsive. I recommend his place if you also have a furry friend and family needing somewhere clean, cozy, and convenient.

Great location! So close to the hustle and hustle of Shibuya and yet so quiet and so peaceful and in such a great area! I loved the location! The home is clean and very spacious and especially for Tokyo standards and had everything we needed. Close to all types of shopping, grocery, dining, bars and restaurants. The host is very responsive and I appreciated that as well. Overall, I recommend this home for its great location in Tokyo and the fact that it’s a clean and spacious home with a responsive host.

エイホウさん was an amazing host. Very warm, friendly and positive attitude, always responsive. I loved my 7-day-stay at this apartment and it was mainly because of エイホウさんpresence. The price is right, the location was very quiet and close enough to 2 subway/train stations which made it easy to go anywhere. Thank you エイホウさん for everything!!

Our family of 7 stayed here. We all loved how clean and spacious it is! Shibuya is a busy place but this airbnb is just a stones throw away. Definitely quiet for a peaceful rest at night! It had everything we need! We loved it!
