Very homely welcoming feel. Well stocked fridge and generous breakfast provisions. Very pet friendly and accommodating of our dogs. Spotless and clean and well kept and home from home vibe. Charming decor. Hosts couldn't be more generous and considerate. Ivan and Jaine were so helpful friendly and welcoming. So quick to respond to anything extra we needed. We had come to Usk for a friend's weekend of birthday celebrations . We wanted a quiet and relaxing place to lay our heads at night and unwind between events! The Loft was perfect for our needs, an ideal situation in beautiful surroundings.

The barn is beautiful, and we immediately felt at home. Everything you need to feel comfortable and enjoy your stay is provided, and there's plenty to do with Cardiff being close by. Highly recommend!

Great location for a peaceful and quiet stay, with lovely countryside views. Perfect base for walks around Monmouth and Abergavenny, and within easy reach of the Wye Valley and Brecon Beacons. The host was very helpful and responsive. The accommodation is clean, simple and private, with a separate entrance and patio ideal for watching local wildlife. The shower was excellent — powerful, reliably hot, and a decent size — which made a real difference after long walks.

We really enjoyed a couple of nights at this cosy, clean space. Communication was great and we were wermly welcomed and shown around in arrival. The hot tub and sunny decking area made a lovely weekend even better! Thank you!

Such a wonderful location to have a holiday with children! The orchard was a real highlight with rabbits to be seen. Great for playing games as well because the huge size means you can go right to the bottom to not disturb people. Wedmore has some great pubs (New Inn for steak night), restaurants (Table 8 for Indian cuisine) and cafés (Bluebird café and bar for delicious desserts). The accommodation was everything we wanted. The upstairs terrace (it's an upside down cottage with the bedrooms on the ground floor and living spaces on the first floor to make use of the views) was a sun trap for the afternoon and evening sun. The kitchen was well equipped and the living room had a large comfy chair and sofa. The double bed was particularly comfortable with a great ensuite. The twin beds were slightly harder and the shower over the bath inconsistent with the temperature so we just used the main shower. Milk in the fridge when we arrived was a nice touch. There's plenty of parking too.

The Garden Room was in the perfect place for what we needed, as a stop over before an early flight - but once we arrived, we wished we had more time to stay. It was so comfortable and cosy, and Lucy had thought of all the little touches that make a huge difference when you add them up. Thanks very much!

We had a great stay at Timothy's place - He was super welcoming and helpful, and the accommodation was exactly what it looked like on the pictures and descriptions. We were out at a festival for the majority of our time but it was a great place to come back too each night to catch up on sleep and have all the nice comforts each morning. We would fully recommend staying here - Thank you Timothy!

Beautiful little find only 7/8 min drive from the seafront. Pristine clean, well equipped and the host is super kind and helpful. Great first night away with our 10 week old! X

Carla and her family were lovely and very helpful. We had an amazing time, with loads to do with two 7-year-old boys within a short distance from our location, which was very convenient. The Noah's Ark Zoo was an amazing day out, and a lake is within walking distance! The place felt safe, cosy, and spotless. Definitely recommend:) Thank you, Carla!

We loved our stay at Nicolas home. She was very friendly & made sure we were comfortable & relaxed. The area is amazing & The Windmill over looking the water is outstanding with incredible views….food great too! Will certainly be back again. Thank you for being such a great host.

Gino is a very helpful, friendly and interesting host. And kind - he upgraded me to a bigger room! Request a glass of filtered water from Gino and you'll discover what water ought to be like!

The place was very clean and peaceful. Very quiet surroundings. The host was very helpful and flexible. They let us check out 30 min late.

I made a very last minute booking with Debbie and she was very accommodating, despite the fact that she was leaving soon to go out for a meal. The room was nicer than some that I've stayed in at 4* hotels. I would not hesitate to return.

14 guys on a stag, literally next door to the station so easy into the city. Everyone has happy enough with beds. Football/basketball court was a winner. Anyone needing a lads/lassess trip away this is the perfect accommodation. Also, Olinga was super helpful and responsive with v clear instructions.

Our stay at ‘The Dairy’ was amazing. The listing was accurate and Claire was a friendly and welcoming host. At first I was a bit nervous to bring my rather reactive dog to a working farm but Panda loved the stay. The surroundings were peaceful, I loved waking up to the sounds of lambs on the field across us. We made use of the chairs by the shared garden and a morning cuppa there with the sunrise was divine. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the amenities available were enough to make lovely dinners for 2 everyday. The location was rural enough to detach from the hustle & bustle but close enough to local shops should you need to shop for anything! 100% would love to stay again!

lovely accommodation in a really quiet area. You can walk into the centre but you are in a nice spot with nice views. The accommodation is of a high standard, very clean with nice touches e.g. spare key etc. The hosts are very friendly and very good at sending the instructions. Really nice find. Good tele, good wi-fi, excellent bathroom and kitchen.

I stayed at Valerie’s place while attending a wedding nearby and it was exactly what I needed, peaceful, cosy and really well equipped for a one night stay. In between a quiet countryside spot. Valerie was extremely welcoming and helpful when I arrived. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a calm, comfortable base in the area.
