Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Addison County

We had a great stay at William’s. The location was beautiful and the house was comfortable. We had a great mix of day-tripping and relaxing with a view. We also ran into William and he was very helpful and friendly.

That was a peaceful vacation with my family. First and foremost, the house was spotless clean. There were plenty of toys for my six-year-old niece to enjoy. Kevin had a keen eye for detail, and we had everything guests needed for a comfortable stay. The lake was also a highlight of the trip. We went canoeing, and it was a truly enjoyable experience in that picturesque setting. I hope we can return soon.

We had a quiet stay at the Farmhouse. Very peaceful and quiet location. Lots of space for our dog to roam. The house is very nice and clean. We enjoyed having coffee and looking out across the fields, reading, and cooking. It’s near the small village of Rochester with a few restaurants and otherwise we explored neighboring towns like Middlebury, Waitsfield, Stowe, and Montpelier.

Philips place was literally perfect! The location, the awesome house filled with super cool art, the cozy feel of the house, the amazing outdoor area we had available to us all made this a perfect experience! Philip was great with communications and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect place to stay in this area of VT. My dad and I were up there for a quick 2 day stay. We'll both be returning with our significant others to vacation there and will absolutely be coming here in the future whenever we travel to this area!!!

This is my second time staying at one of Jess’s properties - and I’m sure it’s not my last. The property is beautiful inside and out and has everything you need. I was in town for a full week and this place was just what I needed to relax after long work days. I can’t recommend staying at one of Jess’s places enough. You won’t regret it!!

The place is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay! Only negative for us was that we wish there was more to cook with as we aren’t the type to eat out every day. Otherwise it’s peaceful and safe and close to shops.

Such a beautiful space and views. Very cozy and welcoming. Kitchen was amazing for such an intimate space, we were able to make several meals and weren’t missing a thing. Loved having the TV in the lower level so it was fun at night but not distracting during the day. Not a ton of amenities in town, so make sure to pack snacks and food for your trip. Will definitely come again.

This was a solid find. Surrounded by shops so could get quite noisy, but the place itself is great. Be sure to bring warm clothes for indoors as well if you’re coming while it’s cold, as we couldn’t find a heater. Thanks for the great stay.

We had the most fantastic stay with Sheila and Jeremy! The home was spotless and beautifully decorated. Sheila was a proactive and responsive communicator. But what stood out to us more than anything were the various thoughtful touches provided during our stay. We arrived late, after a long drive, and Sheila and Jeremy were there to meet us in person and help carry our bags inside. They had fresh muffins waiting and even left some snacks (cheese, crackers, grapes) in the fridge in case we hadn’t eaten dinner. They also provided coffee, tea, milk, honey, which was great in the mornings, and we so appreciated having access to the washer & dryer to do some laundry. Overall, we can’t say enough good things about our stay and we hope to return!

Loved staying with Sandra and Jason! They are great hosts and did a great job on the Airbnb. We knew there were going to be mosquitoes, but we didn’t know that there were going to be so many, I would advise bringing bug spray. They let us use their kayaks which was an awesome experience. 10/10 would stay again.

Amy’s place offered us a wonderful, relaxing stay at Monkton, with its stunning view of the mountains and peaceful surroundings. The clean, nicely furnished apartment was lovely and cozy. Amy was a great host. She was warm, welcoming, and very accommodating. Thank You Amy for the delicious apple cake chunks.

A beautiful cozy place in a quiet green area. Everything was clean and well organized, comfortable bed, good pressure and temperature in the shower. Nice little kitchen. Very friendly and responsive host. Would definitely recommend 😊

Alyssa’s home is absolutely charming! You can sit in any room of her house and never run out of amazing decorations, artwork, books or a simple placed nicknack that are so tastefully placed and just so much fun to admire! The house was spotless and Alyssa was so accommodating and made our visit for Middlebury College graduation weekend so smooth. Highly recommend her house!

Kelly’s place has been a great place to stay in Bristol while in town for a multi-week project. Easy to find and convenient, yet private as well. Love that the stackable laundry unit is available, so helpful! Thank you again for the great pet-friendly accommodations!!

Wonderful peaceful spot! Flowing River in the back of the house and beautiful lake and mountains in the front across the street. Kayaks & paddleboat available but unfortunately I wasn’t able to use them this time but I will be back! Thanks Doc!

Emma was very quick to get back to me whenever I had a question. She definitely goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. The condo is on the bottom floor and basically stands alone with a little lobby which has cozy looking chairs, if you wanted to chill out in them. I wish I had thought to bring my fold up chairs to put on the patio. As it was May when I visited and on the sunny days it would of been nice to sit out front. At the last minute a friend of mine needed a place to stay and Emma was very welcoming to her as well. It's a lovely condo, well decorated, the kitchen area is well equipped. Had I needed to cook in a lot I would not of hesitated. We had our breakfast at the condo and most dinners out. The Restaurants were really good in Warren and Waitsfield. Which seemed to surprise many of the Vermonters that I met at the retreat. All around I had a great time and would go back there if I am in the area.

My husband and I stayed here to do a few days of spring skiing at Sugarbush. The location is perfect, a short walk to the slopes when there's snow. Two-minute drive to resort if snow is sparse. Sugarbush is a huge resort and has many options for all skills of skiing. The condo was spotless and had a full kitchen with plenty of pots and pans, etc. It was very comfortable and also had a selection of books and games to choose from. Host was very responsive and gave perfect instructions. Thank you!

Extremely nice cabin, very recently renovated. The owner has a keen eye for organization, everything is neatly placed where it should be. Linens are clean, beds were super comfortable. Amazing stay, thank you Cathy

This was my second stay at Tom's place at Sugarbush. Location is top notch. Well situated on the mountain. Ski on Ski off (short walk to the trail) but walkable, even with kids. Its a great location nearby a few restaurants and Mountainside Ski Shop. Parking is easy. Loading in & out very easy. Its very comfortable, clean, and the kitchen is well stocked with anything you'll need to cook while you're there. Bonus, upstairs bedroom window has a great view of the mountain. I would gladly stay there again & again.

Stayed here for a ski weekend in March and it was a great spot to wake up and walk to the slopes in the morning! Was also able to walk to the village in the evening for dinner or aprés!

We were due to arrive on the day there was an unexpected snowstorm. Dan and Emily were super responsive and offered a generous and very helpful solution with planning travel and our stay. The space is great, lots of character went into the build and new, clean furnishings were a nice touch- especially in a pet friendly setting. Plenty of hot water, heat. Ideal for singles or couples who are looking to explore all that the area has to offer- centrally located and a quick, easy entry/ exit. All that is needed is there and none of what isn’t- efficient use of space. Very welcoming hosts, would stay here again next time we visit!
