A small piece of jewelry. We felt totally comfortable when we arrived, which was also due to the fact that a fire was already prepared in the fireplace. It is very cozy and everything you need is there that you need. The view of the fjord is wonderful...there is always something to see and you can take great pictures. For hiking and bathing, you have to drive about 10-15 minutes, but fishing on site by boat is good. We also used the boat to go to the small island of Sild. Otherwise, as always, the communication with Laila was great and we can highly recommend the accommodation and will definitely come back.

If I could sum up every part of the experience of this Airbnb into one word, it would be - LOVELY. What an amazing family on an incredible piece of land had since the 1600s, we had the best time, but be sure to book on either a Friday or Saturday so you can experience her bakery being open to the public!

The House is extremely beautiful with an amazing view over the fjord and the Mountainside. There are amazing hikes within a short drive as well as in Odda. Loved it.

We had an incredibly great time in Tommy's log cabin! The host responded to messages within a few minutes and even provided us with charcoal on the first day, as the shops in Jondal were closed on Sundays. The location and the view are priceless, simply magical. We used the sauna and the whirlpool every day and enjoyed the silence! An absolutely perfect place to slow down. My husband fished every day and we grilled the fish on the terrace. Since we had wonderful weather, we missed a lounger on the terrace, but that's really complaining at a high level 🙂 Maybe it would be important to mention that the way to the boat is about 10 minutes and those who want to fish should bring their own fishing rod. Otherwise, you can buy one in Jondal for a small amount of money.
