Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Aghios Emilianos

Fabulous apartment, well equipped with many kitchen gadgets, spacious lounge, lovely balcony with sea views. No complaints. The apartment was a considerable distance away from Poros town, more than indicated on the Air B&B map. It is very close to Petros Beach which is our favourite beach with a great taverna behind so we were not too disappointed but it meant a long walk into town and a taxi back. This wasn't a problem for us but could be a deal breaker for others. In the age of computer technology I would think it an easy error to rectify.

We had a fantastic time at Katerina's place. The apartment was clean, cozy, quiet and just 10 minutes away from Hydra's city center. Katerina was a super nice host, she gave us a lot of recommendations and was always reachable if we had any questions. The only con was the bathroom, because the shower curtain was a bit short so it didn't prevent water from spilling out on the floor and the toilet didn't always flush correctly. Overall I would still recommend it!

L’appartement à Hydra était très joli et typique de l’endroit,avec ses beaux murs de pierre. La vue de la fenêtre de l’appartement est spectaculaire. Le lit était très confortable et avait de la jolie literie. La cuisine et la salle de bain étaient fonctionnels et très propre. L’hôte réagit rapidement quand on lui envoie un message. J’ai eu un peu de difficulté à trouver l’endroit malgré les photos mais il faut comprendre que Hydra est composé de beaucoup de petites rues et d’escalier qui sont un peu surprenant la première fois. Mais des qu’on a réussi à se rendre,après,on comprend mieux comment les ruelles sont orientées. J’ai même trouvé de chemins alternatifs. En résumé,c’est un endroit exceptionnel que je recommanderai sans hésiter. Je vous remercie,Semeli. Je me souviendrai longtemps de mon séjour à Hydra.

Konstantinos was very helpful and very accommodating. Additionally the place was really nice, modern and spotless!

Die Unterkunft ist völlig ruhig gelegen und man hat viel Privatsphäre. Eleni hat uns mit Keksen, Marmelade und Spinattaschen überrascht, aber ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Mitte der Woche wird die Wohnung sogar gereinigt und Handtücher und Bettwäsche gewechselt. Außerdem bietet Eleni einen Waschservice an. Die Wohnung ist auch bei Hitze kühl und auch die Terrasse bietet Schattenplätze. Wir waren begeistert! Man muss allerdings gut zu Fuß sein.

Our second stay at Eleni's place, and hopefully not our last. While it's not luxurious, and the kitchen and bathroom are perhaps a bit "rustic", it's exactly as described, and spacious, well equipped and with comfortable beds. We spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying the view of passing boats. The location can't be beat, away from the hustle and bustle of the port but an easy walk either along the sea front or winding through the backstreets - which were lovely to explore. We weren't able to use the nearby swimming platform as my sister has a back problem and wouldn't be able to climb back up the ladder, but had a couple of dips from the small pebble beach just the other side of Kamini harbour. Lastly, the restaurant downstairs is wonderful. We fully intend to return to the wonderful island of Hydra and Eleni's place will be our first choice to stay.

What a place! We picked Michael and Zia's place for a graduation celebration with three 22 year olds, and one set if senior parents. The home had three ample bedrooms where we all slept comfortably. Interesting artwork filled the house of sketched nudes, painted wood, antique silver, and a great Greek and English library. All tastefully done. We spent most of our time on the giant porch overlooking the sea, playing cards, eating, and lounging. The 30 minute walk into town was not that great due to ATVs and cars, but it was manageable. 86 stairs down to the beach (and back up!) were unavoidable yet also reasonable. It took just seven minutes to walk to Askeli Beach. So easy!! The kitchen was well stocked (sharp knives!) and although at first we thought the two burner/oven contraption would be a bit substandard, it ended up being fine. We cooked many meals for the five of us with no problem. The closest grocery was well stocked and delivers upon request--a handy gesture for bottled water

The view is amazing at this apartment, from the window in each room, and from the balcony. Lots of space, comfortable bed. There is a closet with hangers and also shelves. Table and chairs on balcony and also small dining table and chairs in kitchen. The washer was handy and we hung out clothes to dry on the rack on the balcony . It's about 12 minute walk from the port, including stairs. We walked but it's also reasonable to get a donkey assistance with luggage (definitely ask Christina to reserve the donkey if you do). Would stay here again.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Petros. La situation géographique est exceptionnelle, calme et isolée, avec cependant tout le ravitaillement nécessaire à 10 minutes. Les petites plages sont au bout du parc arboré et fleuri, avec transats et parasols. 2 kayaks sont même à disposition, et ils ont bien servi. Nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir observer les dauphins de prêt 2 jours d'affilé 🤩

Εξαιρετική επιλογή για διαμονή στον Πόρο. Το κατάλυμα ήταν σε ιδανική , ήσυχη τοποθεσία ,πεντακάθαρο και ήταν ακριβώς όπως στην περιγραφή της καταχώρησης. Ο Νικόλας και η μητέρα του ήταν απολύτως επικοινωνιακοί και πρόθυμοι να συνδράμουν σε οτιδήποτε χρειαστήκαμε με συμβουλές και κατατοπιστικές πληροφορίες. Με την άφιξή μας είχαν προνοήσει για κρύα εμφιαλωμένα νερά και παγάκια στο ψυγείο ,καθώς και μια ποιοτική σπιτική λεμονάδα για να φρεσκαριστούμε. Επίσης μας έδωσαν την ευκαιρία της ευέλικτης αναχώρησης και γενικά ήταν από τους οικοδεσπότες που τιμούνε τη φιλοξενία και σε κάνουν να αισθάνεσαι σαν να βρίσκεσαι σε οικείο χώρο. Η οργανωμένη παραλία ήταν στα 50 μέτρα απόσταση και δίπλα υπάρχει σούπερ μάρκετ και φούρνος για τις αγορές τελευταίας στιγμής. Στα υπέρ του χώρου το ιδιωτικό ασφαλές πάρκινγκ και η απίστευτη θέα από τις δύο βεράντες. Γενικά θα πρότεινα στους δυνητικά υποψήφιους μελλοντικούς ενοικιαστές να μην χάνουν το χρόνο τους αναζητώντας που θα μείνουν στο νησί......

Ioannis’ apartment was the perfect place for our stay on Hydra. The apartment is very well located just off one of the main streets up from the harbour. It was spotless and well equipped, with everything we could possibly need during our stay including basic cooking essentials and even a few toiletries. It has AC and fans to keep you cool, and has a little courtyard to sit out in with a beautiful lemon tree (and a talkative cat). What really made the stay special was Ioannis’ hospitality. He met us at the harbour with Penelope the donkey, who carried our bags up to the house. He showed us the best supermarket and ATMs to use on the island and talked us through how everything worked in the house. He smiled and waved when we saw him around town during the week, and then met us on the last day to carry our bags back down, even bringing a little present with him for us to use. The whole experience was fantastic, and we’ll be recommending the house to our family and friends!

I just loved staying at this home and we stayed for a month, the fact that it was outside Hydra and a pleasant coastal, walk into the town was a big attraction. As was the local beach and the swimming. Our host could not have been more welcoming and provided the most wonderful marmalade and a lovely package of basic goods and delicacies. I am hoping that we will be able to stay there again next year!

It was a great stay at the villa. The kitchen and house is well equipped. The pool is very private with an amazing view. If you come with kids, you should bring your own toys as the villa does not have any. The house is well equipped with Moskito nets in front of the windows and doors, nevertheless, we had really problems with mosquitoes one day. We realized that they provided every room with mosquito repellent refusers and the mosquito issue was almost gone 👍 The tap water is very salty but we had no problem with it. All in all, we would love to come back some day!

Perfect flat to discover Hydra. Location is ideal, very central but super calm, and well equipped. Chryssoula is a very responsive host. We'd love to stay here again if we return to Hydra!

Anna und Dimitris waren perfekte Gastgeber. Zur Begrüßung gab es gleich einige griechische Leckereien (unter anderem eine sehr leckere Orangenmarmelade und eine riesige Schale mit Früchten). Außerdem gab es viele tolle Vorschläge zu Ausflugsziele und Restaurants in der Umgebung. Das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen mit einer großen überdachten Veranda und einer stimmigen Einrichtung. Absolut alles was man so braucht ist vorhanden. Die Lage war für uns perfekt, es gibt einige Badestellen wenige Gehminuten entfernt und auch das Ortszentrum mit Restaurants und diversen Läden ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Außerdem gibt es viel zu entdecken in der Gegend, einen Tagesausflug nach Hydra kann ich z.B. sehr empfehlen. Zwar liegt das Haus in einer ruhigen Gegend, wer absolute Ruhe schätz sollte jedoch bedenke dass das Haus im Ort liegt mit entsprechender gelegentlicher Geräuschkulisse. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und ich kann es absolut empfehlen!

Great location and plenty of space for our family if 6. Kostas was very friendly and helpful, especially in helping find a piano for our children to still practice in preparation for their exams. Lovely place to stay and we would definitely come again.

Wonderful vacation house. We rented one villa, friends another. Was 15 min to rock climbing spots and 18 min into the heart of Leonidio. Owner was very helpful and a quick communicator. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway, especially rock climbers.

ligoneri is a 40 minute walk from town, there is a bus service. it has 3 beautiful beaches (pebble not sand) the development is built on a mountain side and has a slight breeze and slightly lower temperatures than the town. the development is 1970s concrete low ceilings functional architecture. Ileana was wonderful to deal with, very responsive. we had a small plumbing issue and the plumber was on site and had resolved the issue within the hour. the house is a 90m2 maisonet with 2 bedrooms amazing sea views. the kitchen has everything you might need and more, there is both an indoor and outdoor dining area. the internet works really well and there is a smart TV. myself and my teenage kids and their friends had a wonderful time. I really do recommend it.

The house in location is wonderful - very well kept = super pool and a great view. Highly recommended ...will be back

We had a lovely stay at John's apartment. We especially enjoyed the view from the terrace and the balcony. It is possible to walk from Spetses town to the apartment in about half an hour, but we rented a motorbike, which was more comfortable. John was easy to reach and gave us the contact of Nikos. Nikos picked us up from the ferry, drove us to the apartment and shared lots of great tips for restaurants and activities. We definitely recommend to visit Spetses in May, because the temperature is just perfect and the island is not very crowded. And of course, we also recommend John's apartment.

Perfect location to enjoy the harbor, walk to beach and get to restaurants.

wir verbrachten eine wunderschöne woche in der unterkunft von stamatis und Anna. das kleine häuschen hat alles was man braucht und perfekte sicht auf den sonnenuntergang über dem meer. unser highlight aber war der perfekte baum mit zwei hängematten direkt vor der tür. Anna war super freundlich und hilfsbereit und wir haben uns direkt willkommen gefühlt. die insel selbst ist traumhaft und der kleine kiesstrand nur 200meter von der unterkunft entfernt. Das einzig negative ist, das bei der abholung mit dem wassertaxi von stamatis nicht kommuniziert wurde, dass dafür 25 euro berechnet werde. Alles in allem können wir es sehr empfehlen und freuen uns vielleicht noch einmal vorbeizugehen.

Very small, one of the beds is in the kitchen, but it was a lovely place. Very close to some beaches and a motor bike rental place with awesome staff! Vassiliki is so sweet and so helpful! We loved her!

Great place with a huge balcony to relax with your family. Prompt responses from the host. Would definetely visit again!
