I had a lovely time in John's place. The apartment is in a great location in the old time. It was easy to walk everywhere, and had a stunning view of the sea. John was a great host. He was very communicative and helpful, and provided lots of recommendations for food and activities to enjoy in Chania. I came for a friend's wedding and so was in and out a lot throughout the weekend, and had a very easy time coming in and out late at night.

There will not be enough superlatives to describe this place. The location overlooking the Venetian Harbor was amazing. The house is historic, beautiful and has all the amenities you will want. You literally won't believe the large rooftop deck with crazy views. The house had lots of interesting things to read, lots of space for a large group and it was stocked with maps and guidebooks. The neighborhood is completely safe. The in-person welcome from the hosts contained some really thoughtful surprises (you will need to find out yourself - I won't ruin the surprise welcome.). Exactly as described! Manolis is a wonderful host and goes above and beyond to make you feel at home! He gave wonderful recommendations and was attentive whenever we had questions. On site parking was an amazing feature and an in unit washer really helped as this was a stop in the middle of a longer trip. The stay was exactly what we had hoped for and we were very comfortable. For reference, we were 4 adults (2 couples).

Mike was great from the start…we booked last minute and he texted me immediately. He made everything very easy and was extremely friendly when we got there to check in. He showed us everything about the apartment that we needed to know and gave us lots of tips on where to go to eat and to see the best sites. The rooftop space was beautiful and the apartment was very close to everything in the area… We were able to walk to everything! I would definitely recommend staying there… Thank you, Mike!

Wow! Artemis is such a thoughtful host. The property is peaceful and beautiful. It’s a wonderful way to enjoy Crete and the Mediterranean. Our apartment was cleaned every weekday; that was a bonus!

We stayed there from June 1 to 7. Apartment faithful to the photos (a little extra with the two terraces (from one partly shaded) which allows us to be in the sun or in the shade at any time of day), private parking and accessibility to the beach on foot (15 meters). Close to the city center on foot (shops, restaurants, bars, pedestrian center, ...) and well located for visiting the west of Crete. The host who welcomed us was very nice (took the time to advise us on the area and his visits), available and responsive (we asked for an extra set of sheets that during the day was outside our door) thank you for the welcome and I recommend this apartment

The apartment is fantastic - very modern, spacious, good kitchen and bathroom. The pool is a great bonus too. It is a short drive to the city center (10 minutes) - a rental car is required (easy parking around the the apartment too)

We had a great time during our stay. The location could not have been better with direct access to the beach and wonderful restaurants within walking distance. The host is very responsive and provided great information on local establishments. We would highly recommend staying here if location is a priority!

Giorgia has been a wonderful host. The flat was super clean and the host welcomed us with fruit, sweets and everything for breakfast. She gave us clean towels and sheets twice and she recommended restaurants and places to visit. She left us time to checkout and said goodbye with many ice creams!! 🥰she really was a fantastic host . The bed is comfortable , the bathroom very modern and beautiful and the whirpool a pleasant extra. We liked everything and hope to come back

This villa is in a great location. Only around a 5 minute walk to the beach / resteraunts. The outdoor space is amazing. Lovely big pool area with plenty of sun loungers. We went with our 9 month old son so the large covered area was great to keep him entertained away from the midday sun. Karolina was a great host, very quick to respond and very helpful. I would stay again.

I truly recommend staying with Niko in this beautiful villa! The house is very modern, the outside area spectacular and private and the communication with Niko was clear and helpful. The accommodation works for both families and friends. The house is located around 30mins from Chania which is easy to get to by car. Can only recommend renting this villa.

We had a glorious two weeks at Niko's place. For the first time at AirBNB it felt like we're were guests at a friends home. All of the promised essentials were provided in generous quantities - Niko's home grown fruit and veg were a particular treat and provided in such generous quantities that we couldn't eat them all. The place is simple but with all the equipment that you could need. The terrace a delight to enjoy the sun and the bathing spot a treat. Niko has landscaped a most wonderful extended garden which made the whole property just beautiful!

The views from this place are beyond breathtaking, especially at sunset! This is an area that is just walking distance from the touristy spot and is very peaceful. My bf was worried about smell and sound being above a restaurant, but there were zero issues. It’s practically sound proof. We sat on the balcony multiple times a day to people watch and listen to the beautiful street performers. We must have missed it in the listing, but please note that this is a home someone lives in. So you don’t have as much storage as you would in an Airbnb dedicated to guests only. We had one closet, two drawers, and could store suitcases under the bed. Not much storage or counter space for our things, but the host did say we could use anything in the house which was nice for cooking our own meals. Highly recommend the brunch and coffee at the Sandbar! Would definitely recommend this spot, especially for couples. The bed is a thick memory foam mattress and was very cozy & comfortable. We slept great!

The apartment, its location, and the hosts’ hospitality are simply impressive. The room had everything we needed - even sun hats, beach towels, and slippers. A separate crib was provided for our son. The apartment also came with a juicer, toaster, coffee machine, coffee, tea, and plenty of food. However, the place is better suited for couples without small children. Our 1-year-4-month-old son constantly wanted to go up and down the stairs (which isn’t very safe) or out onto the balcony. Still, he managed to enjoy the beautiful views and woke up saying ‘wooow.’ 😁 The water at the beach is perfect for small children and peaceful relaxation. We had a wonderful vacation! Nearby, we discovered a lovely restaurant called Halepa with incredible sunsets and delicious seafood - highly recommended.

what a beautiful place

We had a wonderful stay, VERY CLEAN and QUITE place, well stocked condo, great host, sun set off the patio baloney was wonderful. Kyriakos was wonderful to work with and very responsive. The place is much nicer than the pictures on the website. I highly recommended this place. It has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathroom, much bigger than we needed but it was nice to spread out... Thank you Kyriakos for being such a wonderful host. PS. This is parking at the place.

The apartment’s large balcony & location at the quiet end of the Venetian Harbour in Chania old town, was perfect for relaxing and exploring the labyrinthine little alleyways of the old town of Chania. I started and ended the day sitting on the balcony, watching sensational sunsets, the quiet chatter of people in the restaurant below and the mooring and unmooring of boats in the harbour! Christina, my main contact, was outstanding in her responsiveness and assistance in ordering a taxi etc. I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing stay, just what I was looking for. The place was as expected and right near the beach. The place was clean and the little extras like the sun bed and other beach stuff was appreciated. Parking out from useful too. Kurt was really nice, great communication and very welcoming. Would recommend the stay.
